The America’s Best store on 49th St in Hialeah…
The America’s Best store in Hialeah always surpasses my expectations. Everyone from the front desk, the doctor to the salesperson are excellent. I have been coming here for 3 years and will continue to come back. This is truly customer service at it’s finest.
Stay away their product is horrible
Stay away their product is horrible. The advertisement is a bait and switch. Sure you get the exam. Sure you get the select few frames discounted. But then they hit you with the lens cost. $300-$400 and after a few months they were all scratched up….with their so called coating protection.

From the front desk staff to the lady, Shirley, who helped me pick out and order new glasses, everything went great. Shirley enjoys her job and I had a great time! The store was clean, prices good, eye exam very thorough, selection good, my second time for eye exam and glasses at Americas Best, Heath Ohio
Great customer service
I was a first time customer at America's Best. I was greeted by the receptionist and directed to the waiting area for my exam. The exam was prompt, the doctor was very personable and did a thorough exam. I then proceeded to the retail area to pick out my frames. I got 3 pairs, 2 regular and one pair of sunglasses. I didn't do the 2 pair for $95.00 because I use progressive lenses and also wanted the transition lenses, but I was given all my options by Ashley and ordered my glasses. I picked them up today and they are very nice for the price. I would have paid a lot more for them anywhere else. So I am a satisfied customer.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
The first impression was horrible. The lady that did my exam had some type of illness that caused her to cough profusely. She excused herself over 4 times to calm herself down etc. I requested a mask as we had to be in the small closed off quarters was unsanitary. I was concerned for my safety. The representative who did the frame/glasses part of my visit charged me for the wrong frames initially and of course I had to go back to confirm my choice. Then when it was time to pick up my glasses, they were too strong and I had to reschedule another time to be re-checked and pick up. The whole process was horrible. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. I HATED EVERY BIT OF THIS PROCESS.
I am glad it is over and my glasses are still not totally correct. I just wanted it all to be over.

Never even processed the order
I placed an order and was given a ship date. Apparently there was an issue with a date match, but nobody from the company called or emailed to verify the information. They let the order sit there open for 2 weeks and I only found out because I called to check the status after the ship date. There was a lot of back and forth with the service rep about what the problem was, and once they got it fixed they offered nothing to help rectify the delay. Rushing the processing wasn't an option they were willing to do. The order has been cancelled, which is really unfortunate considering that I could have gone elsewhere for glasses and already had them. There is no way I could recommend this business to anyone.
America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses
Excellent Service the Dr. Ophthalmologist., Office Manager and her staff are very welcoming and helpful. I have visited this location for my eye exams and contacts & glasses and they are excellent. It’s a 30 minute drive when I have closer locations, but I choose to drive to them for their customer service and patient care. Totally recommend recommended store 10 out of 10.

No support for their products
They sold me cheap glasses with screws that keep breaking and they tell me they’re not under warrantee. I didn’t break the frames, lens or anything…the screw broke. That’s a manufacturer defect and not my fault. They do NOT stand behind their products and I am going elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

This is America's BEST? This is absolutely awful!
I grew up in the States for 30 years and was used to American frames being extra heavy and bulky. When I moved to my current country, I got used to the lightweight, thin futuristic, unbreakable frames that hold nicely to your face without sliding around and wanted to stay with them for the rest of my life. But, when we went back to the States for the holidays, a family member offered to buy me glasses for Christmas since I've had my current amazing glasses for many years now and I wasn't sure if I needed a new prescription by this time.
There shouldn't have been any problems because it was a 2 week stay and we were told that the glasses would come in in the 2 weeks. I was honestly expecting a text from them later that day, surprised to be leaving at all without them because in my country, my lenses (which have lasted me many years without any issues) were ready literally within minutes in the store. You just pick out frames for really cheap and they just make up the lenses right then and there, no issues. Not America's "Best." I really didn't think it would take more than a day if they didn't take the time to do them in the store like they do in my country. I could not have been more wrong. They not only didn't do them in store, they waited until the absolute last minute to ship them back to the store and so, of course they weren't ready before my flight left. So after they were shipped to me across the world, I am very angry to find that once I unwrapped them a few minutes ago, the lenses are defective!
NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I OPENED UP NEW GLASSES TO FIND THAT THE COATING HAD DRIPPED FROM THE LENSES DURING THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND DRIED LEAVING THESE LITTLE PUCKERS OF THICKER COATING MAKING LITTLE ANT HILLS ACROSS THE LENS. NOT ONLY THAT, THERE IS A SPOT WHERE THE COATING IS RUBBED CLEAN OFF. RIGHT OFF THE BAT, THE RIGHT LENS IS ABSOLUTELY TRASH.
UPDATE: Not only that, in the days since I have noticed I've been squinting a lot in these things and having vision issues. If I press them into my face and hold them up OFF OF MY NOSE so that the lenses are actually center with my eyes, I can see clearly, but if they rest on my nose like glasses have to, everything is fuzzy again. THE OPTICAL CENTER IS EVEN WRONG ON THEM!!! I have been getting glasses for DECADES and have a very easy, straight forward prescription with no astigmatism or anything and I've NEVER had a glasses place mess up the optical center! I've never even had to have glasses redone before! I WILL NEVER GO INTO AN AMERICA'S "BEST" AGAIN!!! WHAT A TRASH COMPANY, WITH TRASH LAZY PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING, TRASH QUALITY CONTROL, AND TRASH PRODUCTS.
A company really can't get any worse than this.
You pay LITERALLY FOUR TIMES the cost of what glasses cost in my country (frames are literally $10USD without even using the universal healthcare plan and the lenses are cheap too and they last for YEARS. I only ask replacing mine because I need a new prescription), and then the glasses America's Best company ships you are absolute garbage with manufacturing defects and the optical center is all wrong!
Going to Davich Optical today to get another GOOD pair of glasses to replace these!

The eye dr did a thorough exam. When it came time to order my glasses, the young man that waited on me was such a delight. He was very cheerful and enthusiastic about his job. I loved the experience at Americas Best in Tuscaloosa,Al. Can’t wait until my glasses arrive.

The licensed optician (woman) is rude and really should be fired.
A single question of mine turned into a heated argument. I complained to corporate about them.

I ordered glasses on the 13th of this month; they supposedly weren't shipped until the 21st; and as of the
27th, I still haven’t received them!
They are way too slow and actually ended up costing considerably more than what they advertised!
I will think long and hard before ever using the online service with America’s Best again! (By the way, their name is definitely a misnomer!)
Very Happy Customer
I take my family to the North Wales, PA office and love the entire experience! First of all the eye doctors are always so patient with how to talk to children and almost make them excited for their exams. When we pick out glasses it takes my daughter so long to decide but Leah was amazing!! When I tell you my daughter took almost an hour to decide last time but Leah came with us and she picked out the pair right away and they were so cute and stylish. I also loved how every staff person interacted with me and how they interacted with each other. It was just all vibes. I am very happy with this experience. Thank you so much!
Order glasses from elsewhere, stores are good
The location itself was great, Fast service, prices very reasonable. The website? Bulls***. I ordered glasses on 12/7. Bought glasses (i thought) that were on sale. Called them to see after about 3 weeks for an update, said they would rush the order. 2 weeks later they cancel it because they took too long to process the paypal payment. If i were to try to reorder the same glasses, the sale was over and price was 30% higher than it was originally. They said it was because of high order volume, so instead of working with me, they just cancelled my order. What a scam
Don't waste your time & money
Took 10 days longer than advertised. Had a wedding at the end of the month and needed new glasses and decided to go with America's best just to try something different. They still haven't shipped my order 20 days later I emailed them 3 times and no response will not use them again
Bad quality bad presentation
Bought new glasses and contacts first problem was the doctor said he's give me 2 different contacts to try i waited a week and a half to get one pair and told that's all that was ordered. Then a few days later iv went to pick up my glasses i bought nike ones which with my other 2 pairs from other places all came with s hard nike case not here they gave me a cheap peice of felt sown together probably 10 cents to make. I also believe they gave me the demo frames off the floor cuz they had a big sticker with the price on it wrapped around one arm they had to peal off. Next the glass just felt chep. The arms loose and wiggly. They just didn't feel like nike quality, it makes me wonder if their fakes. On top of all this they did the prescription wrong so their remaking them. But after having them in my hand for a day I've decided I'm getting my money back and go else were. Plus they wanted another 200$ for transition lenes I've never paid that much. Won't return to americas best again.

You can approve by shutting this business down. The glasses I got were wrong they threw my vision off. I went back and they said they would send them back. Waiting ten days went to get them and they were the same. They just put them on a shelf, wait them call they’re done. There was a problem with my billing as well. They gave ME a number to call when they could have taken care of it. They also told me I DID NOT have cateracs when I did after going to a real eye doctor.
