Unsatisfied with the way payment is processed
I don't like that when you order something and it says it will be here on a certain day, and you wait for it to arrive. Then they send an email, 3 days later, saying that it was declined. Why can't they tell you right away it has been declined? Are they that behind? It really screwed me over at Christmas. Now it has again. I was needing an item quickly. It took 3 freaking days for them to tell me it was declined. That is stupid! I want to cuss badly but that's rude of me. Hey, Mr. Bezos!!!! Fix this!!!! It is very annoying. Y'all get people's hopes up and delay their productivity when you could let them know right away to use a different payment method. Thanks alot! I now have to have it rushed and pay more. Think I might cancel my Amazon account because of this. I am also unsatisfied that you can't leave a review about the website...only for the sellers and products. Kinda takes the heat off Amazon huh? The chat is very sketchy when it comes to that and beats around the bush. My issue was not resolved. I do not like this and will choose ebay as my go to shopping app first. Amazonpay is a complete mess and an unreliable failure to any business that decides to use them.
"Your account is suspended", the email stated, but with no specific reason other than a link to a user agreement and no way to talk to a person about it. It gives a link for us to check our status and it shows no problems, so in order to fix the unknown problem, any business would need to know the specific issue and would expect a human feedback, not automated emails.
So, of course we have removed your payment service from our website. Now we have to wonder if our current Amazonpay transactions will go through after we have already shipped the orders. Thanks for letting us know early in our relationship with you that your Amazonpay service is unreliable.

Use of amazonpay should come with a warning that your rights are less than using a credit card direct. They refuse to refund when goods are not delivered and you do not claim within 90 days. A credit card comes with a much longer claim period. Do NOT use this service.

On the 24th of January, we received an email without notice from our payment provider Amazon Pay that our account was immediately suspended, and all pending orders had been cancelled. To ensure that no outstanding orders were missed all pending orders on our end were refunded.
Our account was in good standing so there was no reason for the suspension.
All businesses have experienced disruption and delays over the past six weeks with the Covid Omicron variant. See the media reports below.
Also, delays due to staff related absences to self-isolate have been minor
Amazon has cited the reason for the suspension was due to some delivery delays. They have made no allowances for the pandemic. We have written to them to complain and resolve, and we have yet to receive any response.

So dishonest and untrustworthy
Used Amazon pay to buy something online as it was an easy option and the seller didn’t accept PayPal. Spent £150 and never got the parcel. Contacted Amazon pay who said contact seller. I did and they said go away, basically. I contacted Amazon pay again several times who said it’s nothing to do with us we don’t guarantee delivery and the seller says the courier delivered the parcel. Contacted credit card company who said they cant help as I paid with Amazon pay. Tried complaining to Amazon pay who said they don’t accept my complaint. Asked how I could take it further several times and they ignored all those messages. I have no clue how to take it further so lost £150. Obviously I know Amazon are pretty awful but I didn’t think they would lie outright and refuse to live up to their obligations. They know there’s nothing you can do so they just don’t care.

Somebody used my Amazon account and credit card information twice about total US$1,200. For $200, the seller refunded as they cannot verify my identity (sure it's stolen). But for the other $1,000. I've never used Amazon Pay but the criminal used my money as Amazon Pay probably because it's less noticeable. I contacted Amazon Pay more than 7 times but since each rep is one time only help (there is no way to reply to specific rep for follow up), nobody helped me to the end. Finally I contacted them as A-Z refund. They said if I authorized the transaction, they can charge me, or they said if I return the merchandise, let them know the shipment number. As I told Amazon Pay, since this is a fraud, I don't have a merchandise and I don't authorize the transaction. Amazon Pay is either not reading my complaint or just insulting people. Since there is no way I can disassociate my Amazon.com account with Amazon Pay (Affiliate), I decided not to leave my credit card info in Amazon's website.

Amazon pay searched my credit report without my consent or authorisation. I received an alert from the credit report agency. Therefore accessing my personal data. Raised a request with Amazon Pay customer service and their help desk for the UK seem to be in India or the Philippines and they were a complete waste of time.

Please, do not use Amazon Pay. They arbitrarily suspended our account after only 5 days of operation - no reason given. We went through a thorough due diligence process to get onto Amazon Pay, so why suspend?
But, they have provided absolutely no reason for why they are retaining our money (tens of thousands of pounds) and no indication of when or how it will be returned.
To withhold money from a company without any explanation is theft, pure and simple. They have stolen our money. If a small business does this it gets reported to trading standards and probably prosecuted.
Do not ever use this company - use a proper merchant processor

Understand that Amazon Pay can arbitrarily suspend your account for absolutely any reason (even if it is incorrect) - and if this happens you will not have the opportunity to speak with customer service, ever. There is no 1-800 number. Your only option will be to submit an appeal and pray that a human being reads it. Amazon's bots are notorious for picking up certain products as "contraband" by accident (labeling hair conditioner as a pesticide, as an example.) In our case, the product we were selling was an organic skin cream that they mistakenly identified as a "banned prescription drug." Our account was immediately suspended and our appeal was denied. Here's the kicker - the dangerous product in question is one that Amazon has been selling since 2003, and continues to sell now. Obviously our appeal was never read and rubber stamped or Amazon is simply attempting to wipe out small business.

Do not trust Amazon Pay! I thought I would be protected if I paid for an item from Wyze Electronics but I was wrong! I filed a complaint because I never received the item I ordered and after a week of frustrating communications with Wyze they just quit responding! I then realized I used Amazon Pay and contacted them and filed a complaint saying I want a refund! A day later they cancel my complaint because Wyze lied to them and said it won’t ship till November even though I provided them copies of the receipt and the tracking (USPS) which showed USPS locally received it on September 21,but it never made it to me.
It’s not the money as much as the disrespect both companies have displayed to me, an honest consumer!
