Utterly useless. Do not waste your time

Bought 4 x cushions online (£111). Substandard. Retailer denied my Consumer Rights, rejected return claiming 'Made to Order' (they are mass produced). Submitted Amazon Pay claim expecting easy win. Utter joke of a reply (talking about different product altogether, irrelevant waffle, total incompetence). I paste verbatim below (including the spelling/grammatical errors)...

'We have reviewed your claim for order XXXXX and confirmed that the order does not qualify for coverage as it was costumed ordered.
It is not acceptable to return jewelry and watches that have been resized, damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery.'

Complete and utter nonsense! Not worth the effort of submitting a claim as they clearly do not have a clue. I tracked down the retailer and secured my own refund just a step away from small claims court action

Amazon pay is a total scam try to get through to customer service is a joke.they still owe me $ even after showing them proof of Thier mistake & having the merchant back the proof.I would warn anyone beware of Amazon Pay.Best to deal directly with any merchant rather than having a third party that will screw you over.

They promised you refund my money Ty via check and I never got it . I have called the regular Amazon associates who puts you over your Amazon pay associate. Allowed the 48 extra hours for delivery…

Allowed the 48 extra hours for delivery even after the package says delivered. Cameras around the whole home yet Im going back and forth with "care" team. This site might bring back shopping in person. Better yet get your package and request a refund. They'll either be out of business or find a way to ensure delivery.
Update- ordered a second one, came.

Zero quality

I would rate you less than zero but there is no option!
Merry Christmas to driver's family who stole my £250 worth package containing gift for my disabled son.
Item was never delivered and while nobody was at home apparently " handed over to resident " pure lie. Amazon is falling way below zero.
They can't provide any evidence of delivery photo or signature. The only one anver OTC was used, but it was used by the same driver- no evidence of that .When you call for the support they struggle to speak any English, moreover when they run out of argument they just hung up. How unprofessional is this??!!!
Amazon is not the only one...

Amazon customer service is a joke! I ordered shopping through fresh the driver left my shopping outside in 28c heat they didn't ring the door bell or knock the door my kind postman knocked my door to tell me he seen them delivering it when he walked past and again seen it out side on his way back 45 minutes later. I am disabled person i uses these services because i have to. My frozen items where thawed the chicken i threw it was warm. Amazon said it was contactless delivery therefore the driver did nothing wrong. So they dont knock the door to let you know they have delivered your shopping.

nothing good to say about amazon pay

I placed an order with a company I have used previously both directly and through amazon , the order was confirmed and paid through amazon pay which I thought nothing of because I use amazon frequently. The order was on May 15 and now on June 12 after several attempts to contact them I have heard nothing from Amazon pay or the business I ordered from. Also the order doesn't show up in my amazon account.
Had I known this was what it is I never would have used it. I was mislead to think it was actually Amazon and could be trusted

If you cancel an order with a Merchant good luck getting your money back from Amazon Pay

If you cancel an order with a Merchant, good luck getting your money back. Amazon Pay says talk to the merchant who says they have issued the refund, except I have not seen a refund after two weeks and numerous emails.
This has to be one of the most frustrating shopping experiences I have had online. Very poor service by Amazon Pay. Won't use them again for sure.

Scam!! Thieves. Disguasting.

Scam!!! Fraud!!! First time using this service, never again!
I have been stolen money, 45 GBP, for a ticket purchase which was never confirmed since the website was having issues. Well, amazon took the money the same, and said they cannot help me getting a refund as they have nothing to do woth it. I tried contacting the merchant but the only contact provided is an email address that is not valid. I tried asking my bank for a reverse of the payment and they came back saying amazon refused it. Ah, so the money went to you and not the merchant? They say they cannot help me and offered zero assistance. So I had no ticket and cannot have my money back. This is fraud and amazon pay is a joke and disguasting. Please never use this service. Thieves.

Amazon Pay is utterly rubbish and risky

Amazon Pay is utterly rubbish. Pleas avoid at any cost . I bought a product online from a merchant using Amazon pay thinking that would be a more secure thing to do. At this time the payment was sitting in the pending transaction of my credit card showing it against Amazon pay . I subsequently cancelled the order on the same day and the merchant was prompt enough to cancel the order and said that the payment was not taken at all which means the payment still stood standing against Amazon pay in my card . Inspite of the merchant cancelling the order and sending me clear cancellation emails, Amazon pay was not willing to release my money . I kept calling Amazon pay and send them all the clear cancellation emails from the merchant but they kept saying they won’t release the money. I called them atleast 5-6 times and they kept repeating the same thing and were unwilling to do anything. I decided to raise a complaint but the customer support executive said they don’t have any complaint policy and denied me of any chances to escalate the problem . They kept me running round and round but never released my money until I had to raise a dispute with my credit card provider . Pls pls avoid Amazon pay like a plague . If you are stuck for any reason there won’t be a way out.

Amazon Pay is a waste of time

I used Amazon Pay for a transaction with the Entertainer Toy Shop. The payment went through okay, but I did not receive an order confirmation.
The next day I kept checking my order history with The Entertainer, which went from “in progress” to “error”. I then had to spend a lot of time phoning the helpline to find out what had happened. I also had to ring the shop, who could not trace my order. Not great, when click and collect is advertised as within 2 hours.
I managed to sort it out, but clearly there is no line of communication when using Amazon Pay.
I had originally fed back with a smiley face, but too hasty, I was told I could not change it to an unhappy face. Hence Trustpilot. I wish I had checked their feedback first.
Never again.

Avoid Amazon Pay and GTR

On October 13th I paid £21.20 in advance for a train ticket via Amazon Pay. I went to collect the ticket only to find there was NO TICKET and had to purchase a more expensive ticket at £34
When I contacted Amazon Pay I was informed they are just the agents for GTR. I contacted GTR as I have a downloaded receipt from amazonpay. Its now TWO MONTHS and I have not received my £21.20 I have been advised to take GTR/Amazonpay to the small claims court. However, it will cost me to do so!!

Do not use this service!!!!!!!

Do not use this service!! I repeat, do not use this service as you do not get the money back that you payed and they will blame this on cirrancy changing. I lost out £17 and I cancelled my order within 4 minutes. I know it was the delivery charge they do not want to refund me but because they don’t read their emails correctly, they all keep blaming it on exchange rate!!

Unreasonable requests

Unreasonable requests. E.g. suspended my account and asked for a share structure of my company? What for? To accept payments? They are holding the funds because of potential refunds. Nonsense. It's my retail website, not yours Amazon. You JUST process the payments. That's it. I decide on refunds etc. A complete waste of time that amazon pay.
