AMAZING SERVICE!! We came home after our holiday to find a leak in our ceiling and we obviously panicked!
After an hour on the phone and no luck from our home insurance, we called Holyhead Plumbing. From the moment we spoke to Josh on the phone he completely reassured us and put us at ease immediately, being totally compassionate and understanding. A little over two hours, not only had a lovely plumber come to help us, he sorted the problem with no fuss, no mess and totally sorted the problem out.
We cannot fault this amazing company, their faultless service and advice, and have given us confidence in a trade which we would absolutely recommend to anyone. Thank you so much!

Needed an electrician urgently on a…
Needed an electrician urgently on a bank holiday Monday for my elderly parents. From start to finish everything went perfectly, AHR 24/7 were efficient, polite, understanding and arranged an electrician swiftly.
The electrician text letting me know exactly when he would arrive and fixed the problem quickly and more importantly was trustworthy and treated my elderly parents with respect, care and had a very good manner.

Highly recommend this service. I had an old leaking stopcock that needed to be cut-out and replaced urgently. I called the service and within 30 minutes Neil arrived. He went above and beyond to get the repair complete and leave me with running water. The quote remained the same even though it took longer to fix the issue. I would definitely use the service again.

Money grabbing and totally unreliable
They let us down REALLY badly when we had a plumbing emergency at 9pm. We searched for a local firm and found something called Bangor Plumbing Services - they even had a local phone number. This turned out to be All Home Repairs. They asked for 50% payment upfront and we were desperate so we paid £180. I then got a WhatsApp to say a plumber would be leaving immediately from the local area.
Nobody turned up and we tried calling, emailing and sending WhatsApp messages. Having been very quick to take our money nobody replied to us all night so we were stuck with an emergency in our family home. None of us got much sleep. Finally at 7am someone got in touch. Apparently the plumber hadn’t bothered to come and he turned up at 8am - we sent him away, furious with him and with this supposedly 24 hour company for ignoring us all night.
Allen the plumber was sent out to us and he totally saved the day. I’d give Allen 5 stars for his work, and he was lovely to deal with as well. He’s too good for a shoddy company like this one.
We were told we’d get a refund of the night call-out fee but they even quibbled over £20 of it. Absolutely pathetic after what they put us through.
Do not rely on this company in an emergency, and if you find a local firm online scroll to the bottom and check it’s not All Home Repairs posing as locals. They are quick to take your money but slow to actually do anything.

We’re very sorry for the experience you had overnight and completely understand why this caused frustration, especially during an emergency situation involving your family home.
Unfortunately, on this occasion, the original engineer did let both yourselves and us down by failing to attend as expected. This is not the standard we expect from the engineers we work with, and we do apologise for the lack of communication throughout the night while we were trying to resolve the situation.
That said, we are pleased that Allen was able to attend first thing in the morning and successfully resolve the issue for you. We appreciate your kind comments about him and will absolutely pass that feedback on.
We also want to clarify that Bangor Plumbing Services operates under All Home Repairs, which is why both names are associated with the service.
As acknowledged, we did arrange a substantial refund due to the inconvenience caused, despite the engineer ultimately attending and the issue being resolved.
Again, we sincerely apologise for the delay and frustration caused on this occasion.

Liam and Ben were fantastic. Came to see to bathroom leak with water pouring through kitchen ceiling. Sorted the leak straight away and when came back to clear pipes sorted what was expected short job turned out to be major work. Absolutely fantastic would definitely recommend.

Boiler breakdown
Our boiler broke down over the bank holiday weekend and was unable to get it looked at until the following Tuesday after contacting several Gas Safe engineers. I Needed to know the problem was safe to leave until then and to avoid being without hot running water and heating. Only AHR Repairs 24/7 were able to attend later that day. Macie was very helpful in arranging this and Mark attended later in the allocated time period. He quickly identified the problem which will require a new part and reassured us the boiler was still safe. This will now be carried into under warranty. Very good experience from a helpful company with knowledgeable staff who are available when needed.
