All home repairs rip off
Called for an electrician from all home repairs, I was told it was £130 and after the electrician came out I was then told I had to pay another £130 to the company the electrician works for, they was unaware that all home repairs take £130 off the customer and then charge the customer another £130 for call out.
The company used was elecsoluk and I would highly recommend them, just don't use all homes repairs.
Just a rip off.

During the initial booking call, we clearly explain that there is an initial payment payable to All Home Repairs to arrange the booking, triage the issue and secure an engineer. We also explain that any on-site labour charges are payable directly to the attending engineer for the works carried out.
This is the same process that is explained to all of our customers, and the vast majority fully understand and are happy with the arrangement before proceeding with a booking.
We do not believe there was any lack of transparency regarding the pricing structure in this case, and we are pleased to hear that you were happy with the service provided by the attending engineer.

Phone operator Alex was pleasant and professional throughout and I would consider him a company asset. The two engineers who arrived at my property Chris and Stephan?/Sebastian? Were both efficient and polite also.
Besides the required costs of the service which is always a sting. It was a top service overall.

I required a plumber for a leaking pipe…
I required a plumber for a leaking pipe at my 90year mum's house. They originally quoted me £360 which reduced quickly to £180. I paid £90 up front with the additional £90 to be paid directly to the plumber. They gave me a window from 6pm to 9pm. 8.30 I called them and was told that he would be there for 9pm. I then had a call at 9pm from them saying plumber was stuck in traffic and would be there in 30mins. 10pm no sign of plumber and could not contact the company. I managed to track down the designated plumber at 10.30 who had already told the company that he was on another job and would be another hour.
I cancelled the plumber and had to turn the water off from the mains outside.
My 90year mum was still up and extremely stressed until 11pm!!
I do not appreciate being lied too and no consideration given to the elderly! Thank god I was there to manage this mess and stress you caused by not being honest!!
I will say they refunded me the £90 the following morning.
Will not be using this company again!

Unfortunately, on this occasion our engineer was delayed on a previous emergency job and was unable to arrive within the promised time frame. We completely understand your frustration, particularly given your mother's age and the stress the situation caused.
As we were unable to fulfil the attendance within the agreed time, we took responsibility for this and issued a full refund of the £90 initial payment the following morning.
We are pleased that the immediate situation was managed safely, and once again we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

I recently contacted AHR 24/7 for an external drainage issue and was extremely impressed with the service I received. Holly, the call handler, was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns clearly, putting my mind at ease and ensuring I understood everything I needed to know. Holly went above and beyond to provide a positive experience.
At approx. 9:30 pm the night of the call I had the drainage call out organised for 8 am the following morning.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of drainage services or any other home services.

Emergency repair fixed on same day
Once we found all home repairs, they were so helpful. A little frustrated on communications, which could be improved with updates on planned arrival. However as an emergency call out they came the same day, the Friday before the weekend. Leak fixed and explained why?

Outdoor drain blockage
I was having a problem with the outside drain at the front of the house, it wasn’t draining quickly enough in heavy rains causing pooling.
Team contacted me when they were 10 minutes away, on arrival I described the problem and they set to work clearing years of accumulated foliage both by hand and mechanically.
While actual proof of success will have to wait until the next downpour the team were confident that the congestion had been cleared and I should not experience any further problems.
All told I’m happy with the service I received.

What a great service from start to…
What a great service from start to finish. Excellent service on the phone. You pay a fee then you pay £80 an hour for the plumber and the plumber that was sent was Rasib and he was amazing, telling us what we needed and that that would cost us extra which was understandable. He plumbed in the washing machine and dishwasher and he checked both by running a cycle on them to make sure there was no leaks and asked us also to inspect the work which was outstanding. Can’t thank him enough for the work he carried out which was 100% perfect and was completed within the hour. Thanks again Rasib 👍

Had a good experience and Maisy was lovely on the phone. Explained everything well and was consistent in communication and was patient going back and forth.
Stee gave a great service. Was quick on the job and completed it in around 20 minutes.
Reason for not giving five stars was that I felt the price was very steep considering the job took such a short amount of time.

Basically I’ve put in a complaint last week no one got back to me I said for you guys to tell the Plummer to come after 3 as I was at work until 2.30
Then Plummer rang me to say be there at 7.30
In morning my wife had to go home lose 2 hours pay as works in a school and no one got back to me about the complaint the Plummer was brillant want his fault at all he got told between 7 and 10

Fantastic service
Fantastic service, we needed an emergency plumber due to a burst internal pipe. They were so professional, set up a whatsapp chat so we could send pictures in order for the plumber to be ahead of the job before even arriving. Daisy who took the call could not have been more helpful and precise, did exactly what was said, kept in contact throughout. Simply cannot fault the service and Daisy and the Plumber Pete are a credit to AHR.
