There is blatant fraud being practiced…

There is blatant fraud being practiced by unscrupulous sellers who are able to use more than one profile to impersonate reputable sellers and channel customers to their own profile. I will not slander anyone here but I have been a victim of this and know this goes on and Alibaba do not appear to have procedures in place to cancel this out.
The review system is not credible at all, as Alibaba do not permit dissatisfied customers any way to channel their experience to a wider audience, which is what a prospective buyer uses when considering using a seller on Alibaba.
Alibaba Trade Assurance is a fantasy - they always side with the seller and place obstacles in front of the buyer when a complaint is raised. Time wasting is the ploy to flush you out.
I don't doubt there are decent sellers on this portal, but the risk of not finding one and ending up with a scamster with no protection from Alibaba is not worth it.
I will not be using the Alibaba service again. AVOID!

Product not working at all

I ordered an electric ATV which was not working on delivery. I spent hundreds of hours trying to get it to work and ordering spare parts since they were breaking one after another. I had so called "trade assurance" but Alibaba ruled in favor of the seller and I lost all my money. I will never order from them again.

DONT TRUST ALIBABA!!!

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TRADE ASSURANCE OR BUYER SUPPORT ON ALIBABA - DONT TRUST!!!
I specifically asked the seller before I purchased if the headlights were new or reconditioned / remanufactured. They responded saying "full new".
I received second hand headlights in worse condition than the headlights I already have on my car and they weren't even sealed properly, so they are full of condensation.
Despite providing all the evidence including my conversations with the supplier, Alibaba rejected my dispute claim stating that it was "hard to determine what the problem with the headlight is". This is despite me providing videos and photos of the product that was clearly NOT NEW. There was broken clips, cracks, and even spray paint on the headlights!
Don't trust Alibaba!!

BE AWARE!! ALIBABA AND ITS TRADE ASSURANCE IS A TOTAL SCAM!!

BE AWARE! ALIBABA AND ITS TRADE ASSURANCE ITS A TOTAL SCAM!
in my home country the Alibaba word means thief!
I ordered music insturments (keybords) i made sure to use their Trade Assurance joke thing and paid through PayPal an amount of $3995.00 for 5 of them. Waited for 3 months to recive 5 kids karaoke keyboards toys that worth $10 apiece! i realized i got scammed by that fake seller named DAVID YU. I contacted Alibaba's "robot" on thier help chat and after a whole week of struggling with that machine it transfered me to a live chat agent! Anyway i told my story and she advied me to apply for a refund since my order was covered by what they called Trade Asurance! I did applay for that refund. I received an email from Alibaba saying its the time for you to upload evidence! So i did take pictures for the packages and ALL the conversations with that scam. They told me to wait for 3 days which i did. After that they said ok prepare the packages to be shipped back those packages and wait for 15 days for the seller to respond. And i did wait! After that they asked me to shoot a video of me opening the packages and show them whats in it. And i did! After that the scammer uploaded some fake pictures of the real ones getting shipped from the ups office somewhere in china i guess showing the lable saying the real weight of the real keyboards which is 27lb each which somehow matched the fake stuff they sent me even though when i weighed them they were 5.7lb with ups label still showing 27lb!! I did take a picture and a video of the weghing process that i did and sent it to them. Im sure they will deny my case since the scammer is using the weight diffrance against me and accusing me of replacing the goods!! I have 2 more days of waiting till they determine which im100% after i read the others experience here they will side their chinese scammer and deny my refund! Its been 6 months for me struggling to get my money back!! Please guys advice what to do.

Bought a 16TB SSD external hard drive on AliExpress, which, as it turns out after unpacking, does not work. Immediately opened a dispute and uploaded photos. Now I was not awarded a refund because the evidence would not be sufficient. Always tried to contact AliExpress, which just did not work. Also the links that were listed in the emails did not work. AliExpress as a subsidiary ofAliBaba can only be described as a fraudulent company, from which you should keep your hands off as a customer. Instead of removing stores that do not sell functioning goods from the store, AliExpress and thus AliBaba protects such criminal machinations. AliExpress and AliBaba should be ashamed of themselves. I will delete my AliExpress account and never order anything there again. It is an outrage how the customer is dealt with in such a reprehensible manner.

TRADE ASSURANCE IS FRAUDE

TRADE ASSURANCE IS FRAUDE

Alibaba rudely and without any consultation cancelled

the process called Trade Assurance and closed my case that while all evidence of fraud from the seller has been provided

Trade assurance is pure fraud now that Alibaba simply doesn't give a damn about a large amount and where they kept procrastinating and postponing from the start, there is no dialogue allowed.

They pretend to offer you protection but that is complete nonsense they keep fraudulent Chinese companies a hand over their heads.
Really down arrow where I have already bought for hundreds of thousands of dollars it is now suddenly no longer possible to do normal business and to appeal to the buyer protection, namely refund of funds $12,000,- thousand dollars that is too much for these billions earned club
Just NO BUSINESS with them ALIBABA go somewhere else they leave you out in the cold

This week there was suddenly contact and again they do not answer any input on this case it is a one way company a lot af promotion how they wil surve you but when trouble compleet silence

Alibaba’s Trade Assurance is NON-EXISTENT

Alibaba’s Trade Assurance Contract doesn’t work in actual scenario. It always decides in favor of the Seller, who are under contract to pay for their pages in the platform. For Alibaba, they are worth protecting than the Buyers that will use the platform for sourcing products. It is therefore in Alibaba’s vested interest to favor the Seller even if you can present verifiable data in the contract itself, where the Seller received a payment yet deny having received it. I lost US$4500 in this manner, just a week ago.
I presented chat snapshots as to how additional charges were levied on the final contract, 30+ days past deadline and the product is yet to shipped, if at all, but Alibaba’s Trade Assurance Robot just ignore all of them. Yes, it feels like a robot is reading your complaint which keep asking for evidence even when you’ve already done so many times before.
That's my second time being scammed. The first was of lesser amount that involves PCB modules that were sourced by the Seller from a surplus shop, i.e., you can literally see desoldering traces and mud looking dirt on the PCB surface. I submitted the appropriate pictures and videos of tests conducted, but still I wasn't refunded. It’s all a waste of time and money.
Now, I’m shifting to GlobalSources where suppliers are vetted properly. So far, I haven’t had a bad experience with GS yet. I’m also using multiple sources to vet any of the supplier there to ascertain if claims made are true.
You can also use YT channels pertaining your area of concern, and explore who are the reliable suppliers there. Transparency is always a key indicator of how reliable a supplier is. Be creative and prosper!

Just awful!

Package arrived quite quickly direct from China - a £12 camera otoscope. Looks good quality, but does not work. Cannot access my purchase history: email not recognised, password no good. Yet they were fine a few weeks ago: and after that purchase (a six quid hearing aid, which works okay) I got a daily torrent of irrelevant AliBaba sales stuff in my email. The tickbox for beginning an enquiry does not list UK, even though Ireland is there! Avoid, avoid.

Shandong Xuanfeng Steel Co., Ltd

Shandong Xuanfeng Steel Co., Ltd from China claim to have manufacturing of products like Aluminium Foils, Copper, Steel Bars, Corrugated Sheets etc. Based on our experience in dealing with this company, they are frauds. When we sent them an enquiry for 3 Tons of Aluminium foils, they gave a PI of $ 3,200 per ton. As mentioned in the PI, in September 2021, we sent $ 4,800 as 50% advance for 3 tons. After receiving the advance, Shandong Xuanfeng Steel Co., Ltd said that the price of Aluminium has increased and started demanding $ 4,380 per ton. This was a steep increase of more than 35% on the amount according to their PI. The market price at that time was around 3,200 to 3,500 per ton as we had PI from other companies in China. When our company asked for the refund of $ 4,800, they refused as said that they can return only 10% of the amount on cancellation of the order.

Later in December, when our sister company sent them the enquiry, they sent a price of $3,500 per ton. When we exposed them saying they are demanding $ 4,380 per ton when they are quoting $3,500 to new customers, they refused to acknowledge and were demanding $4,380.
In January 2022, our company decided that since we have already paid them advance, we will resolve the issue by paying them 4,380 per ton in order to reduce the loss. But Shandong Xuanfeng Steel Co., Ltd is now demanding $ 3,500 extra as storage charges.

Shandong Xuanfeng Steel Co., Ltd is a fraud company and its modus operandi is that they will get the advance from the customers and then increase the price. The customer has no choice now since he is stuck as his payment is with them. He has to agree for their prices.

We are taking legal action against this company and we want other people to be aware and not fall for companies like this who are cheating businesses around the world.

The person who was handling this was someone called Yang Xiao Teng also called as Cherry. I spoke to her Manager Nancy but she was very rude and not helpful. When I told her that I will post reviews about your company on this incident she was threatening to take legal action for slandering. We have all the documents and the chats with us so we will approach the Chinese Embassy as well and our agent in China has started the legal action by filing a police complaint.

It was through Alibaba that we contacted Shandong Xuanfeng Steel Co., Ltd. When we complained to AliBaba for this fraudulent price hike after receiving the advance, Ali Baba reviewed our documents and finally said they cannot help because their policy states they can intervene only for completed orders. Alibaba is encouraging fraud companies like Shandong Xuanfeng Steel Co., Ltd by following vague policies which are beneficial for these companies.

Please be aware that this fraud company Shandong Xuanfeng Steel Co., Ltd is not trustworthy and any company dealing with them will undergo losses.

Very bad company

Really bad company. No customer service. No phone number. They don't listen, pay attention or care. They don't help victims. Alibaba assurance means nothing and is meaningless. Sellers know this bad system well and use it to steal from you. Everyone uses fake English names, fake pictures and sometimes fake company names.

ALIBABA SCAMMER & HIS SUPPLIERS, READ TO KNOW

The disgusting place to buy goods for business.
The place of scammers, the scammers are not only the sellers themselves but also the Alibaba company.
Their assurances are that if something goes wrong, you will receive a 100% refund, this is an absolute LIE!
I've read from other sellers before that you need to be very careful when buying there. But, I thought that I was out of danger because the site promises protection from deception. BUT IT'S NOT SO!
Hear the true story of a defrauded customer:
The whole world knows that China is a country that has raised its economy by selling fakes and copies of brands, designs, and so on.
But for some reason, no one can stop them from continuing to violate the intellectual property of brands, companies, and so on. Why? Unknown.
But more to the point.
I saw a great product for sale. And it was a stuffed octopus toy. I saw this product on Amazon and when I saw it on Alibaba, I said to myself: "Wow, the seller earns so much! He buys a toy on Alibaba for $ 4 and sells it for $ 39". I want to order this toy too!
I have agreed with the supplier to purchase this product. Minimum had to buy 500 pieces.
I bought 500 pieces and paid a high shipping cost.
Listen further.
Before shipping, she sent a photo of one octopus for me to check. Everything suited me and I didn’t even notice that the toy was sewn a little differently from the original picture.
Moreover, she showed me only 1 toy out of 500. I did not know what 500 pieces looked like. But I was careless, as I was absolutely sure that Alibaba would give me protection as it is promised.
The toys have arrived. They were prepared for sale on the US market.
And I decided to check again at the seller's product octopus on Amazon. I entered into the search "the name of this toy" and for some reason, I was surprised that only one seller sells this product. I decided to check this product for intellectual property and what was my surprise when I saw that the toy, its design is patented!
I realized that I made a big mistake buying this product. Now I could not sell this product in the USA, since this product was patented.
Of course, I started the procedure for opening a case against this seller. I wanted to return the goods. And the most amazing thing began, I opened 8 times cases and 8 times I was failed.
I opened a case on "counterfeit goods", "violation of intellectual property", I attached all the evidence and even the patent registration number of the toy to the case, and every time I was failed.
Each time, the specialist Alibaba played the role of a blind, stupid person who does not see or understand anything. I had to explain literally that the snow is white. That is, to prove what is obvious even to the blind!
I was in a senior rage!
The seller attached a photo of her product to the case with the text" no our toy is different" and suddenly I clearly saw that the toy was sewn badly and incorrectly.
Then I decided to open a case that the product did not match the description. That it was.
What do you think?
I failed again, I opened cases with this name that the product does not match the description and original photo, and each time this is Alibaba specialist under a fake European name Sofia (in fact, there is a Chinese woman), played the role of a stupid and blind person and did not see the difference. I was in a perfect fit of rage.
I realized that I will not get the money back, under any case. Although there were two major violations: infringement of intellectual property rights and the product did not match the description.
I also wanted to leave a review for the suppler to save others from this scam, but at that time, the Alibaba website hid this button from me. As a result, these goods stay as a dead weight, I cannot sell them in the United States, the money was not returned to me, and I could not leave a review.
You have no idea what kind of scammers they are. And Alibaba's site is covering up these scam sellers.
Their assurances that Alibaba is fighting IP infringing sellers is a BIG MYTH! THEY CONVERSELY ARE SUPPORTING THEIR CHINESE SUPPLIERS TO CREATE FAKES AND COUNTERFEITS, BECAUSE CHINA BECAME A RICH COUNTRY BECAUSE OF THE PRODUCTIONS OF FAKES. Alibaba, I did read, has agreements with American and European countries that Alibaba will control the sellers for counterfeiting and violations of intellectual property, but in fact, they spat on their obligations and do not fulfill them!
DON'T BUY ON ALIBABA!
