Buyer beware!!!
We had to cancel our hotel because my dad went into sudden kidney failure. The hospital wrote a letter explaining that I had to cancel my flight, cruise, and hotel. I received a full refund from Delta and Princess cruises. I was denied a refund for my hotel even though I canceled more than 24 hours in advance. Never again will I use Algotels!
Update- I even offered them my dad's death certificate and was denied a refund.
No Response due to Billing issue
I booked a room for a Hilton hotel thru them. When I checked out, the hotel said the amount due was double what the prepaid amount was paid directly to Algotel. I've been trying to contact a Algotel rep, emailing/calling over and over, finally got someone on the phone, told me it's in the dispute dept but no one to talk to. Stay away!!

I reserved a room at the Holiday inn for today 01/25/2026 and check out 01/26/2026. I received the reservation and it showed the dates to be 02/01/2026 and check out 02/01/2026. I called the company with in 2 hours to advised them of the mistake. They responded back saying this reservation is non refundable and non changeable. I will never use this company again. Buyers beware.
Outright thieves!!!
This company is not just “bad” they are corrupt thieves. I used them, through a booking app/site to get a room in LA California. They sent me the confirmation. When I arrived and tried to check in I was told that my reservation had been cancelled. I called and was told the issue needed to be “escalated” and someone would be in touch.
After waiting way longer than I should I had to secure a last minute hotel room at LAX for an astronomical room rate.
The next day I flew out and upon arrival at my destination I had an email telling me that the issue had been resolved and I could check in and was given the hotel managers name to confirm. It’s now two days after my reservation…
I responded telling the representative that this does me no good two days later and wanted a refund… every communication with this company since has started and ended with “NO REFUNDS, no exceptions”
They literally took my money, cancelled my reservation and refused to even discuss a refund. THEY STOLE MY MONEY!
You’ve been warned!

We stayed for a week at a Doubletree by Hilton in Deerfield Beach Fort Lauderdale, Florida area. Enjoy the stay. My wife felt ill. In addition to the fact airlines were shut down two days later as well as airports due to heavy snow in South Jersey we were able to change our flight to an earlier flight to avoid this problem when I tried to make arrangements with this company to avoid the extra charge for two days where we could not stay at the hotel they said they could do it. That’s the policy. I won’t pay the bill I’ll form the credit card company. They can tear up my credit card as well as if they don’t want to accept giving me credit for the days I couldn’t stay at the hotel then I won’t pay the entire bill is an awful company hard to believe that they go into business the way they do I would never use a third-party to rent or stay in a hotel again I’ll deal direct. This was a bad Experience Via beware
I booked a four night hotel stay in Montreal with Algotels and the experience was amazing
I booked a four night hotel stay in Montreal using Algotels.com I found the booking process to be quite user friendly and the price was really good when compared to other sites.
After I booked my hotel I came across some very negative reviews of Algotels which caused me a couple of nights of uneasiness. I wasnt sure what to expect when I arrived at the hotel. Based on reviews I wasnt sure there would be a reservation and I certainly expected that the room would be different than I thought I had booked.
Much to my surprise when I arrived at the hotel, there was in fact a reservation prepaid for me and the room was exactly what I was expecting based on the information provided during the booking process.
The negative reviews posted most likely caused me some much unnecessary worry.
Alogtels IS HORRIBLE! GO WITH EXPIDEA/TRIVAGO
Important review, Please read entirely!!
Three wheelchair users booked January 16th in error. We asked algotels to swap dates from Friday the 15th to Thursday the 14th, well over a week prior to my stay. I simply wanted to amend the dates, no refund whatsoever! even if Thursday is probably cheaper. In an email from Renz (algotels customer support) the email states "We did our best to change your reservation dates as you requested, sharing all your details and reasons with the hotel. Unfortunately, they weren't able to approve the change due to their policy." I called Hilton to enquire and
understand their policy and they have stated that there is no such policy and they would most definitely approve (and have the availability) the date change request.
Hilton said they see my booking was booked and canceled three times. I asked for the cancelation number then called algotels and spoke to Jomayra, (as well as emailed algotels) stating that I spoke with a customer service agent at HIlton and provided the cancelation number to Jomayra at algotels. I patiently waited to see if Jomayra was able to help. About 30min after speaking with Jomayra, I received an email form her stating algotels has spoke to Paula and "confirmed my booking is still active". I then called Paula at Hilton and she confirmed algotels did call, but "ONLY TO CONFIRM MY BOOKING", NOT! and NEVER to ask for an amendment to my original booking. This is not professional service AT ALL! Algotels IN FACT LIED TO ME/US! We were lucky to have Paula share her email and asked me to include her in any email exchanges with algotel, and I did. Paula went out of her way for us three wheelchair users traveling to Niagara from out of town. Paula replied to our email and switched our room for us and advised algotels she did so, for billing purposes.
Paula saved us! Thank you Paula and Hilton Hotels!
I suggest and save you some headaches and any future booking issues...
DO NOT USE ALGOTELS! YOU'LL BE SORRY!
A few extra points/notes:
* algotels pays google to be at the top of any hotel
booking search. Save yourself from headaches
dealing with poor, inappropriate customer service
who is not out to help its customers, but only re-
read verbal diarrea over and over.
* algotels never called back as they stated.
* algotels never has an active manager to talk to.
* I was promised a call back from manager, that never happened.
* algotels is not out to help its customers, but only
take their money without any effort to
resolutions.
* Hilton (or any hotel) has more wiggle room than
third parties.
Sincerely,
Flavio P
This company do not want to be contacted.
Booked a room in Manchester, and needed to change because of the match being rescheduled. This company do not want to be contacted. They cut you off when you phone, and do not reply to emails. It's worth paying a bit extra with a reputable company. Stay Away!
Algotels is a scam
Algotels is a scam
Arriving in Dubai with no airport hotel was no fun. Disgraceful how they operate. Take your money then cancel your hotel room before you get there. Avoud

I HIGHLY suggest you do NOT use Algotels. Their customer service is horrific. I had an issue at a hotel stay that I had booked through them. The hotel was fabulous and agreed to credit me one night but Algotels could not be reached to assist in getting the credit since they book with some other method of payment and not the credit card you use with Algotels so I could not get the credit. DO NOT USE THEM!
SCAMMERS!
SCAM WARNING! Do not order or pay for anything here. They are selling FAKE VOUCHERS and refusing to refund any money. They do not communicate at all—you will only get automatic replies. Stay away and protect your money. SCAMMERS!
AVOID ALGOHOTELS AT ALL COSTS
My husband and I had a one night reservation at the Candlewood Suites in Windsor Locks, CT. It was non-refundable but there were extenuating circumstances. My husband was hospitalized with a suspected heart attack. Repeated requests for a refund or allow us to use at another time were met with cold rejections and corporate speak. Disgusting heartless treatment, not to mention awful customer support.

Made a mistake when booking on a non refundable booking which they were happy to change within ten minutes. Excellent service thank you.
Please provide the refund
Please provide the refund, The resort fee was not disclosed at the time of the booking. It mentioned that all fees are included.
Scam
We booked a hotel in Puerto Rico through Trivago and did not see the third party til after booked (we were on mobile device). We received a confirmation email and a receipt for our booking. When we called the hotel directly to see if they received our booking, they had not. We called and emailed Algotels numerous times and they were nice and polite and said they would work on it, but they never did anything. They always just kept saying the same thing, that they would look into it. But nothing ever changed. We checked back with the hotel numerous times and they never received a booking, despite our payment being posted. They stated they did not even have a request for a booking. We ended up doing a charge back through the credit card company to get our money back. Algotels did release the payment.
Scammers
Scammers. They took $500 but there was no hotel room for me. Algotels never contacted the hotel. Then claim ”no-refund” policy. STAY AWAY!!!!!
Was skeptical but it's real, confirmed with hotel
I have a booking for next month at a hotel, I made the booking late at night then woke up the next day and saw the reviews about Algotels and became skeptical. I have just spoken to Cris at their support team as there was an issue with the name of the hotel, he immediately looked into it and found that it was just a rebrand, gave me the new name of the hotel and confirmed my booking. I was still skeptical just because of all these negative reviews so I phoned the hotel myself and they confirmed my booking exists. So all I can say is I personally have had a great experience and I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews online. Shout out to Cris at the support team for his speedy work, very helpful.
Scam artists with imaginary support
I booked a hotel but was given a different one with the same name. I tried calling support—no response. I emailed the help desk, received only a case number, and never heard back. Beware of these scam artists.
Would give 0 stars if I could
Would give 0 stars if I could, customer service very cold and unfriendly with absolutely no concern in my matter. I clicked 1 person (when I’m absolutely sure I clicked 2) in error and they would not allow me to amend even though it’s a double bed
