Extremely Disappointing Experience – Misleading Photos and Unfair Practices
I strongly advise against renting from this company. Here is a summary of my experience:
Misleading Photos: The apartment looks significantly worse in reality than in the promotional pictures. It is obvious that the property is poorly maintained and no effort is put into keeping it in good condition.
Bypassing Platform Protections: I reserved the apartment two months in advance via Booking.com. However, just one week before my arrival, the company emailed me demanding that I sign their separate contract, provide my ID, and pay the security deposit directly to them outside the platform. With my vacation only a week away, I had no time to find an alternative, so I was forced to comply. This effectively stripped me of Booking.com's customer protection.
Unjustified Deposit Deductions: After check-out, an unknown person contacted me via WhatsApp with a forwarded photo of an allegedly "broken" item. The photo clearly showed the item was merely disassembled, not broken. The company provided no "before" photos to prove the item's condition prior to our arrival.
Unfair Pricing: They deducted €50 from my deposit for this item, even though a brand-new replacement costs a maximum of €30 in a store.
Conclusion: By forcing the deposit payment outside of the official booking platform, they avoid accountability. If Booking.com had been involved, they would have required actual proof of damage. I highly recommend avoiding this company to save your money and nerves.
