Airwallex is the best tool when TT to our suppliers

Airwallex is very easy to use when making transaction. Compare to traditional bank it's much better as transaction fee is much lower. Also payee got payment very fast.

One thing which needs improvement is that it's not easy to locate monthly credit card statement. And it'll be better if credit card repayent date can be extended beyond first day of each month so that it's more flexible for us.

Smooth onboarding and helpful support

Absolutely amazing experience with Airwallex so far. The entire onboarding process was smooth, fast, and incredibly well handled. Everything is designed in a very intuitive way, which makes managing things seamless right from the start.

Scammers

Scammers. After 3 months with “account suspended” they “can’t close the account and send money back for their policies.
SCAM !!
I understand that a serious financial platform can suspend an account but after 3 months without requising further document from us, it becomes a scam!
I opened a formal complaint and just yesterday you wrote that “the account is suspended”.
It’s a scam, serious company in 10 days decide to close the account and send back the funds .. 3 months is a scam!

Held a 7k payment to a sub contractor we use for no reason at all.

Sent proof that we have paid before 100’s of times,

Still held the money . Scam company.

Scam

Scam! It's over 4 days now I made withdrawal request to my Bank. Usually it use to take 1/2 hours but now 4 days are passed but yet I didn't receive my money. They have one of the worst support system, never attend calls. Reply to email after a day with just generic reply. No live chat support!!
Still in tension of about how would I receive my money... Really disappointed..

Totally dissatisfactory experience with Airwallex

We've experienced first-hand how untrustworthy and deceitful this organization is. After entering into an Agreement with Airwallex to become their Affiliate and to facilitate bringing new customers to them, we started investing into this activity -- and several prospective customers filled out the application for a new account on the landing page they assigned to us. However, we soon noticed that they are advertising on that same landing page an invitation (banner) to click-through to their own main page -- diverting our customers in an apparent aim to avoid paying the due commissions.
Additionally, they don't permit any accounts for individuals (only companies). And cash withdrawals from a debit card are not possible. And they reject perfectly normal companies (do not approve new accounts, without specifying any reason). And they are not answering some of our emails. In other words, an all-around dissatisfactory experience -- we've wasted time and money on Airwallex and will absorb those losses and move on.

Complete waste of time and a total lack…

Complete waste of time and a total lack of professionalism. We had a client transfer payment, and Airwallex blocked it despite us providing every single piece of documentation and transaction confirmation they requested.

Now, they are making it nearly impossible to even get a refund. For over 2 monthsthey have been holding our money and circling back with endless requests for "more details" just to return the funds to the sender. They are effectively holding our capital hostage. If you are a serious business owner, stay away from this platform. They do not care about your time or your reputation with your clients. Absolute nightmare to deal with.

UPDATE: Stop excusing your unprofessionalism with compliance guidelines. You received a payment, you did not approve it due to "compliance regulations", now you keep it and do not want to refund it to the customer. We are a software company, not a gun manufacturer, and all products, services, documents, and communications can easily be verified! I will make sure there are 100+ reviews like this online!

Easy registration, comfortable working

Easy registration: unlike traditional banks with heavy paperwork, the Airwalles onboarding is quick and easy. The "Local" Banking Feel: A standout experience is being able to spin up local bank account details in minutes for markets in overseas. This allows us to receive payments from overseas client. Also, very easy and very fast payments system for local payments. Our company manager Ms. Sarah very helpful and her recommendation are in time and very professional.

Airwallex has really disappointed me

Airwallex has really disappointed me, it was once a really good bank that i used for my business......However now all payments get stuck in review loops. Its almost impossible to pay salaries, moving money in or out the account freezes it. Its really sad to see this happen as i loved it at one point but its impossible to use! I am now putting volume through my other accounts mainly.

Scam. Stay away.

Stay a million miles away from this scam. As soon as your account starts receiving money, they will freeze and block your funds under the garb of "compliance" and "regulations." We sell toys for little kids. Compliance on $300 of sales? Really? Shameful money grab.

WARNING: Airwallex is Seizing Business Capital and Ghosting Customers

Update 23rd of March, on the 6th of March they informed me they are closing my account, and still till this moment didn't allow me to take my money out, they are theives a 100%, stay away!!!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR BUSINESS LIQUIDITY. Airwallex has held over EUR 10000 and 900USD of my operating capital hostage for over a week with zero transparency.

They terminated our first account (Hurghada Trips LLC) without cause and have completely ignored all payout instructions for the 10,000 EUR balance. Simultaneously, they have frozen our second company (A2Z LEADS LLC) in an "indefinite review" with no requests for information, causing us a realized loss of over $300 just in exchange rate fluctuations.

The most predatory part: Their social media team reached out and asked me to delete my previous public concerns as a gesture of "good faith" to expedite the process. I acted in good faith and deleted the posts—and then they completely stopped responding to my emails.

This is not a financial service; it is an administrative "black hole." They are destroying small businesses by cutting off their ability to pay suppliers. I have filed formal complaints with the Wyoming Division of Banking and the CFPB (Case 260304-29578188).

If you are a Wyoming LLC or an international business, stay away. They will take your deposits and then "ghost" you once they have your money.

You can see in their reply how reckless they are, they steal my money and thank me for my review, what a joke!

I am writing this as a final warning to…

I am writing this as a final warning to other businesses. Airwallex has been withholding $4,704 USD of my corporate capital since March 6, 2026, with no valid technical or legal explanation.

Despite a successful $1.00 test return on March 9 proving their system is functional, they continue to "manual-hold" the remaining balance. Their own partner bank, CFSB, confirmed in writing today that they are simply awaiting Airwallex’s direction to release the funds.

I have been forced to file formal litigation with the BC Civil Resolution Tribunal (Claims #SC-2026-003044 & #SC-2026-003045) and have notified the Bank of Canada regarding this safeguarding breach. If you value your cash flow and reliable access to your own funds, stay away.
