I very rarely use the advertised outlets. Those that I have used no longer belong to the scheme. It takes years to get to the required £10 minimum reward to redeem.
I’m not keen on connecting my bank account to join their other scheme.
I wouldn’t have signed up had I known how limited the cash back was.

Does not pay enough to make it worthwhile, and you can only withdraw minimum £10 at a time. It takes me 18 months to rack up that much trough normal spending so the whole thing is almost pointless. I think it is a poor deal considering the financial benefit the company is likely to be getting from having access to my transaction data. I tried to close my account and have my data deleted for these reasons but I’m now on the second time of asking and they have completely ignored me.

Very disappointed with Airtime & how unreliable it is!!
Recently made 3 transactions through the link, as advised & no sign of them on the app at all!
Also, a £2 bonus, which there is no sign of either!!
Rakuten is far more reliable & will choose them from now, instead of Airtime!
Update: Still waiting for April's transactions & bonus to appear on Airtime!!

was scammed today for £200 through the Bits app, with the transaction going to Airtime Rewards Ltd. I did not authorise this payment at any point.
What is most concerning is that I actually spotted the transaction while it was still pending and blocked it immediately within the app, yet the payment was still processed and the money was taken anyway. This raises serious concerns about how secure this platform really is and whether user controls actually work.
I have absolutely no idea how this scam was carried out. I did not knowingly approve anything, and I have received no goods or services in return. This makes it clear that this was an unauthorised and fraudulent transaction.
Under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 UK, customers are entitled to an immediate refund for unauthorised transactions, provided they have not acted fraudulently or negligently. I acted quickly, responsibly, and took steps to stop the payment , yet it still went through.
What makes this even worse is the complete lack of customer support. Neither Bits nor Airtime Rewards provide a direct contact number. You are forced to rely on email support, which can take days or even weeks to get a response. That is completely unacceptable when dealing with fraud, where time is critical.
This experience has been extremely stressful and has also pushed my credit utilisation to 100%, which will now negatively impact my credit score.
Overall, this situation highlights:
1. Poor fraud prevention systems
2. Ineffective transaction blocking controls
3. Lack of urgent customer support
4. Failure to meet basic expectations
under Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) principles
I would strongly advise others to be cautious when using these services. Until this is resolved properly, I have no confidence in either company’s ability to protect its customers.

Been using Airtime for about two years now. When I first joined I earned quite a lot of cashback but this has slowed down with cutback after cutback and removal of retailers. Very frustrating some cashback takes 3 months to clear. However, it does feel nice when you're able to cash out and you see your mobile phone bill slashed. And nice to know you are talking to humans than bots/AI!

Great discounts and savings. Customer service is very responsive and answers the questions raised. Staffed by humans not robots.

I have to keep a list of retailers used as every month as there are lots missing - particularly Ebay. Bonuses get missed, but I think this is because so many retailers don’t get registered automatically and then I do a ‘missed transaction’ and when it does get tracked it is registered as a bonus and not just a purchase and so it doesn’t get registered for the monthly bonus. If it wasn’t that it keeps my EE mobile bill reduced I wouldn’t bother with the system as it is very time consuming chasing and checking if transactions have been registered

Very useful tool. Only small amounts each time, but it adds up! Quite time consuming to maximise the various benefits.

Takes a long time for purchases to reach reward stage. I only use a few retailers eg Boots Argos, Grape Tree as most retailers are " high end ". Sometimes when a retailer is highlighted I get the message that there is no branch in my area even though there is a shop nearby.

The amount of time I've wasted, contacting airtime, to bring us everyday retailers that we can earn from, rather than those that we rarely use, or have heard of.
Also, having to wait 90 days, in most cases, for the airtime bonus, is ridiculous.
As usual though, you grt palmed off with excuses.
P.s. I recently sent over £350 in one transaction and now haven't wait 90 days to claim £7.37...

It's OK. I fond it doesn't calculate all the shopping. have several times bought items and not added to account.

Honestly, I’m really disappointed.
When I first started with this company, I was able to withdraw £30 a month with no fees, which felt fair and straightforward. However, I’ve now discovered that withdrawals have been reduced to just £10 per monthand on top of that, there are fees. That’s honestly ridiculous.
With such a low limit, it now takes several months just to withdraw my own money. It feels like my funds are being unnecessarily held, and I have no idea who thought introducing this change was a good idea.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I’ve been a loyal customer. I’ve recommended this platform to several people, and to now be treated like this is really disappointing.
At this point, I’d like to withdraw all of my money and remove the app entirely- if that’s even possible.
Overall, this experience has been very poor, and unfortunately, I have to give it one star.
Customers who earned their cash way before these rules were introduced of fees should have been given an opportunity to withdraw without being penalised - and I would love a follow up to be able to do this.

Good company who reward you when you make some purchases. The money they give you however is not a lot and you have to wait around a month for it to hit your wallet then you have to wait another few days before you receive it into your bank. Easy to sign up too

Airtime has been great for me so far. I have managed to make enough money through my normal shopping routines to get a few top-ups for my phone. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend.

Iv been using the app for a while. And whilst a lot of the retailers are not of interest to me there's definitely enough to make it worthwhile. And the new enhancement to reduce how much I need before withdrawing to my phone account is definitely an improvement. Just wish some retailers didn't have such long delays on funds clearing. But overall I'm happy with it.

This is my third review of this company in less than six months. Unfortunately, after all this time, the issues I raised still have not been resolved.
I initially contacted customer support when a new “withdrawal fee” was introduced without warning. This meant that I (along with many other members) would have to pay a fee to withdraw money that had already been earned before the fee was introduced. Customers should have been given prior notice to allow time to withdraw funds without being penalised.
After multiple back-and-forth emails with Airtime Rewards, they eventually agreed to pay out the money I had earned without charging the fee. I provided my bank details so this could be processed by their finance team. However, one month later, I am still no closer to receiving the funds.
If you had asked me this time last year, I would have recommended Airtime Rewards to anyone. It was easy to use, had reasonable terms and conditions, and was a great way to save a small amount here and there. However, my experience over the past few months has completely changed my view. It has been nothing but trouble, and the way new terms and conditions were introduced leaves a very bitter impression.
There are other cashback services offering better value and a smoother experience, which I would recommend instead.
