My family have been using George’s for years, both for business and our homes. Their friendly management and staff are knowledgeable and professional.

I have been really impressed with the…

I have been really impressed with the service from start to finish. The communication has been excellent throughout, the engineers were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Prices are competitive. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone and will happily use their services again.

best company to deal with

from start to finish this is one exceptional company to deal with, from the initial enquire regarding an aircon unit for our hedgehog rescue building , very polite and understanding of our needs, helped us to select the right portable unit , and despatched the same day , i was sent the tracking number, and delivered early next day !!! stunning service, the unit exceeds my expecetation and delivered the best , quiet cold air , i cannot praise this company enough , they have kept in touch and give them 5 stars , really good to deal with a professional family focussed company

A big thank you to shruti for everything you did for us my sister was absolutely delighted with her gift and looking forward to her retirement now the air conditioner was a stunner and should definitely keep her cool during these hot summer months I can’t thank you enough for everything you saved the day which could have been a disappointing one if it wasn’t for you I will recommend your company without hesitation and I will be back as I’m looking for one myself now to replace my old unit just one thing though maybe use a different courier in the future as they let us both down no excuses for that.

Excellent machine, Excellent service!

My family can breathe again! - Highly recommend!
Our house is incredibly hot during summer months, especially upstairs - uncomfortable is an understatement. This air con unit is worth every penny. From the second we got it out the box I was pleased. Easy to set up, looks nice and not to bulky.
The power is great and the house is cool!!
The customer service was also exceptional. Speedy delivery and fantastic customer service - Thanks Neil!

Awful

Awful, awful company to deal with! Purchased a cyclone dust fume through eBay from Georges Industrial service at the end of November, used twice and then tripped electric off each time used. Tried several electrical supplies and happened each time. Called and spoke to someone who was going to get back to me, never did. So started return process with eBay, posted back (obviously in used condition as it had been used!! But then stopped working which is not acceptable after a month) Received a phone call yesterday from a dismissive, rude lady who continually told me that it was disappointing as they are a ‘top rated seller’ What is disappointing is that your staff clearly have no idea how to conduct themselves when you have issues. I then receive a refund for half the product value....thanks but no thanks! Luckily dealt with eBay who have now refunded the full purchase price on your behalf! You will most certainly never be having any more business from me!!! Disgusting!!! Thank god for eBay!

Thank you for your review.
However it is inaccurate.
1. You claim you called us and no one called you back. Please can you let us know / remember when you called and who you spoke to? Speaking to my collegues, no one recalls answering your call regarding the item not working. Our phone system logs all calls and we have a record of all incoming calls. If we are unable to answer a call, as we are on other calls or out of working hours, all calls go through to a dedicated call centre. This is to ensure we do not miss any calls. If you can let us know date and approximate time of your initial call, and the telephone number you called from,I can investigate this further, who answered your call and why we did not respond to you as you claim.

Our normal business practice is to get back to all customers and try to resolve things amicably. We would have then asked you what the problem with the product was and suggested some troubleshooting before starting the returns process. If this did not resolve the problem we would have organised collection of the item and issued a full refund.

2. Once we received your item, my engineers checked and tested the unit. We found the unit to be working as it should be. Just to make sure, we tried it on various sockets in our warehouse, workshop and office areas. We tried to explain this to you, but you would not listen to us and all you could say was that it did not work in the socket/s you plugged it into. We wanted to send you video evidence however, you were unwilling to listen or co-operate.

3. We then spoke to Ebay and sent them pictures and evidence of the ventilation fan you returned to us. Ebay advised us, if a working item was returned to us, we have the right to offer you a partial refund. This enables us to recover some of our costs for postage of the initial item and collection.

4. Ebay also also advised us to let you know that we had received the item back and were now going through the returns process. Once you realised that you would not receive a full refund from us, you became very rude and aggressive. First you hung up on my colleague and then called back in a very aggressive manner shouting expletive words. This is totally unacceptable.

In conclusion, you are upset with us because we did not refund you the full balance on a working ventilation fan that you have used for your purposes/job and then returned back to us when no longer needed. The condition you returned the unit back (totally covered in dirt, plaster and grime) would not be accepted by any seller. It also shows that the unit has been heavily used.
If this was a genuine case, and the item was not working, you would have received a full refund immediately. However you returned a working unit. I'm sure people will make their own minds up as to how genuine you are, or if you are just trying to sabotage us, and fabricate a lie because you were unable to take advantage of us. If anyone would like to see the unit and the state it was returned to us in, and also see it is fully working, we would be more than happy to send you a video.

We are small family business and have been trading continuously for over 49 years. Over the years we have had a few customers like yourself who do try and take advantage of consumer rights. Due to social media it is now easier for people like yourself to try and spoil a company's reputation (which is clearly your objective) when you don't get your way. However, I hope people can read between the lines and see how untruthful your claims about us are and instead look at our 1700 positive reviews on Ebay and 49 positive reviews on Truspilot and make their decision on us as a business.

Finally we will be seeking legal advice as you have made false claims in your review, and returned a fully working product after it has been used.

I am a customer from Germany and bought an air conditioner set. Everything by mail. Best advice and helpful.
Ordered within a week, paid and shipped to Germany.
I am happy about the company and was lucky that the BREXIT has not yet been completed. It makes me sad when GB can not deliver as flexibly.
I keep my fingers crossed for a good future.

A very professional service with really good customer service. Efficient and quick at getting the process going. Workman ship was very clean. Good consideration to the clientele they are working with so that our business was able to run smoothly whilst they were installing. Careful planning. An amazing company to work with. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else.
