Everything was easy and well planned from start to finish! The included airport transfers, the pickup and drop offs, the ferry rides…all of it was very organized and included in price! The included breakfast and tours of each city visited was perfect! We had multiple tour guides and they ALL did a fantastic job…Andrea in Mykonos was my favorite :)
We will definitely travel with Affordable World again in the future!

I used this company for a trip to China before and I did love it! This time there were some dislikes with the way the side tours came up. They didn’t show the best places that showed the quality of the services, specially the Singapore sites were not plan for offering good accommodations to see the shows, we were rush and behind bushes for the light shows, very low key services. People were very unhappy, not only us. In Bali, most of the temples were close so we didn’t have a chance to learn about the culture the way we wanted and the cruise show were also low key. China was amazing and the tours excellent so that was the reason why I wanted to have the same experience. Hope you will work on these issues, I know you can bring the best experiences for your customers.

Truly the trip of a lifetime. Our accommodations and bookings were all correct. Hotels were clean, train and bus/shuttles were great. Me and my other half were the only two to not include a bunch of additional add-ons as we wanted to explore and get lost and fill in the gaps on our own ( and be able to do other things that weren’t part of the agenda, such as Universal Studios Japan). While the included tours itself may seem a little rushed ( especially for some older travelers) , keep in mind, there’s so much Japan to see. Saturkay and Andy were our guides in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, respectively. They were both fantastic. Each with a somewhat charming personality, but both very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I would definitely recommend this tour and affordable world’s services to anyone.

Everything was wonderful! We could not have asked for a better tour experience!! We loved the size of it, everyone was super friendly, and we LOVED our tour guide, Andy!!! We saw so many things and learned so much, we never could have done that much on our own. Highly recommend everything about this tour!!!

Here’s my feedback. Everything was nice about the trip including the hotels chosen, the flights and the tour guides. I’m giving you a low score because you lack the attention other travel agencies have. Don’t get me wrong, your employees are nice and friendly and did help me when I needed but I think that you could improve if you invest more time in giving more information to customers during the process prior to the trip. I’m comparing you with others like Gate 1 and they informed me of everything and kept me in the loop like for example, when I should expect to receive our flight information and hotel confirmations. With you, I was left in the dark until I either called or received the information.

Trip to Japan- was affordable and good arrangements was made, thorough information provided. The airline , hotel and tour package was a good deal. Tour operators were awesome. I would use the service again for future trips . The only thing that was missing is the personal touch of a direct agent but everything was taken care of in the background.

This trip offered very reasonable price comparing to other agency. Hotels are well cleaned, bus, train, and tour mangers are performed beyond their job. We purchased all optional tours except dinner in Tokyo.
A few minor feedbacks when visiting Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto. We wasted a little time to climb up on top as not many important things to see. The tour leader should have skipped those areas or given the tourists options to do their own things such as shopping and eating.

The guides were very helpful and friendly. They made sure we understood where to be and the time frames. They also provided assistance regarding best food locations and activities.
I would absolutely recommend Affordable World to family and friends.

The tours were enjoyable and all timely run but rushed. There was too little free time at each tour location and almost no time to shop. The Mt. Fuji stop was only 30 minutes and that included a bathroom visit and only a few glimpses of the mountain due to cloud cover. The Tokyo hotel was too far from the city center but, on the bright side the breakfast was best at this location. The special dinner was not worth the price. It should have included at least one drink - tea, soda, or alcohol - and a dessert. The Osaka hotel was hot with no air on when we arrived and the breakfast was disappointing. The guides were all nice, informative, and on time. Overall it was a good time.

Great experience on the Japan classic tour. Just the Kyoto hotel not the best, very hard mattress

My friend and I booked a 10 day tour with affordable world via Groupon. It’s been on our bucket list and we figured we had some other tour companies before with no issues so why not.
Let’s start with the tickets to Egypt. We flew out of Newark NJ and had a one hour layover in Turkey. From Turkey another flight to Cairo. One hour transfer for an international flight.
We get to the airport and the flight is delayed so we end up speaking to the airline attendant whose states we wouldn’t make the connecting flight so she’ll put us on the flight later. No issues.
We land in Turkey and up to this point we’re impressed because we informed affordable world on their emergency contact numbers and they tell us that they’ll pick us up at the later arrival time. We get to the airport and they have an employee meet us and help us get our bags, our visas stamped, and to the transportation to get to the hotel. However, as we’re doing all this I start receiving phone calls from Affordable World stating we were a “no show” for our flight and would be responsible for booking our flights back home as our flights were cancelled due to the no show.
We had been traveling for >12 hours so I figured it would be an easy fix and would deal with it after checking into the hotel or the following day. This is where everything started going down hill. We had a hotel room at the Hilton Ramses and were told we were upgraded but the rooms were old and dated and definitely not an upgrade. The following day we figured we’d have time to figure out our flights back home because the itinerary stated a half day at the GEM. When we met up with the tour group they never informed us and we did the pyramids and the GEM which ended up being an all day affair with no breaks.
My friend and I are younger 30s and exhausted. The rest of our group consisted of 4 people who were older than 60, a mother and son duo who were 50 & 30, and a 38 year old man. Everyone was surprised at the change in itinerary and beyond being surprised everyone was exhausted and not properly dressed. We all remarked that we thought it was half a day and the tour guides said they “switched things around”. By the time we got to the GEM people were not even listening to the tour guide because they were so tired. The pyramids as amazing as they were, no one was given a heads up so we’re all dressed for a short day and it was so hot. Further more, unless you asked for water you were just buying water yourself. The tour bus had a cooler but the guides didn’t mention anything until someone asked and then stated “you get a bottle a day”.
That’s just two days into the trip. The trip consisted of changed itineraries, crazy wake up calls and a break neck pace. Every single member of our group was frustrated with the lack of coordination. We actually ended up becoming closer because we all complained and discussed that we all traveled and had some group tours via other companies and this was the worst one. One couple stated they had used affordable world for two other trips that were amazing but Egypt was a let down.
As for the flights home, my friend and I had no help from affordable world. We paid for our own uber and ended up at the airport for three hours talking to Turkish airline and proving we were a not a “no call no show”. They reinstated our tickets
Affordable world ended up telling our tour guides they “had our tickets fixed the next day” and I corrected them stating we had taken care of it. The level of disorganization and unprofessionalism is wild. I also reached out via whatsapp to the emergency contacts and one of the two guides introduced to us in Egypt. No one was able to help us and in fact the emergency contact didn't reply after telling me there was nothing Affordable World could do. It was only after I reached out to inform them that our tickets were reinstated that he replied to say "great". Thank you for absolutely no help.
The cruise was the highlight but you have to pay for every bottle of water or drink on board and only the food is included. We also realized after the cruise that we were lied to. We stayed in the Hilton again for one night and it was updated, without mold, and actually had a balcony bigger than two feet. The “upgrade” was obviously a lie the first part of the trip.
Also I’m not unfamiliar with tipping services but it was ridiculous. They wanted to be tipped for everything and anything. Our group all remarked they ran through their cash and were surprised at how much the country and the tour expected us to tip.
I was looking forward to Egypt and I did have a half decent time but it was so uncoordinated and frustrating. All 9 of us in the tour agreed. Book with another company.

The trip was great, nothing to worry about if you don’t know the language. The guides and the hotel clerks are very helpful.
Tours were really rushed, so it was nice to have the extra leisure time.

All in all, it was a great trip. The guides were knowledgeable and their grasp of the English language was outstanding.
Calling it 9 days in Japan, is a little misleading since 2 days are travel days. You get a lot in 7 days, though. I would like to have spent more time at some of the stops and skipped others. Going to a palace you can't see is time that could have been spent seeing more of one of the other sites.
The ground transportation was nice and comfortable. The drivers were very good and always made you feel safe in their vehicles.
Air transportation, it was good with the exception of a 5 hour layover over in Taipei. I would suggest that be eliminated, if possible. The airport there is amazing tho!

We saw a lot of Japan in a short space of time. I wish the Hotels had been closer to the city centers but all were located close to a subway station. Our guides and bus drivers were great. Really know what you want to see in your downtime before you go - it will make it easier to navigate getting around

Went on a trip to Bangkok for our honeymoon and absolutely enjoyed it. I mean it was perfect from start to finish. We met new people, we felt safe, and we had a ton of time to do our own thing as newly weds. 1000/10 recommend
