Dishonest advertising. After I brought to their attention that a position advertised with pension and holiday had no such benefits, they continued to falsely advertise this citing “legal reasons” why the advert had to be misleading.
Not impressed that Tesco, a major retailer has been using them and will now forward my complaint about them to Tesco.

I am writing to share my extremely disappointing experience with Adecco Recruitment, highlighting the lack of service and negligence I faced during my job search. My ordeal began on 6th June 2024, and it took a whole month before I received any correspondence from Adecco.
Despite reaching out multiple times, the assistance I received was minimal and lacked any sense of urgency. The company's laissez-faire attitude towards supporting job seekers is unacceptable. Adecco's inability to provide timely and effective support has been frustrating and disheartening.
Furthermore, my request to have my personal data deleted from their database was met with procedural delays and lack of clarity. I had to insist on immediate action and guidance to remove my information from their systems.
In summary, my experience with Adecco Recruitment has been marred by negligence and a complete lack of support. I strongly advise potential job seekers to consider alternative agencies that value their clients and provide the necessary assistance promptly.

I would just like to thank Adecco for assisting me in finding my new job opportunity. I was kept informed on the processes and updated regularly of any changes or outcomes. I would like to give a special thanks to Dawn, who gave positive reassurances when I was slightly apprehensive. All went well, got offered the job, accepted and fully enjoy this new permanent assignment. Would definitely recommend Adecco to future jobseekers.

Literally first job I get offered is a task job scam by a recruiter called Andrew, very new to the job market and it took long for me to realise that this was a scam. Felt comfortable providing work related details as based on other reviews here I trusted the platform. Now they have knowledge about me, my qualifications, and my phone number. Luckily I realised where it was all heading before they got access to anything else. Disgusting!

Very friendly and professional agency to work with. All of my questions were answered properly and clear and have no one problem with them. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for temporary assignments.

I was dealing with an agent called David Jones, who never called me about the job, he submitted my details without a formal consent and never replied to any of my emails and cancelled all my calls! he's a waste of space! it's people like him that give recruiters a bad name! he should be struck off from recruiting, only interested in lining his own pocket.

The Adecco manager on site at STN8 Amazon Magna Park makes frequent rounds inside the warehouse on different shifts in company of his assistants just to meet associates and check how they are doing. He is always looking to see how he can make things easy. I witnessed one day a colleague stopped him in break room and showed him his feet blisters for uncomfortable boot. He gave him a new one in the same shift! Very quick to act.

Harassed me with emails and phone calls on 1st day of new job, useless when I asked them to resend me a link and after a week at the job they still haven't set my profile up so i haven't been paid. incompetent at everything, i found the job myself but had to use them to get paid which hasn't happened. clearly only care about using people as a money maker.

Signed up amd was referred to lilly hurley to help find work, she called about one job could not give details of the job and when i refused never replied to my emails again. Why do they always employ these essex girls with sticks up thier A$$.

Adecco are a company that only choose to give opportunities to people with the right face, they’re not interested in promoting diversity and inclusion, and I hope they stop wasting my time in future with job opportunities they’ll never give me. Don’t have a black person on your email list just to make up the numbers, it’s insulting.

Sent many job applications, no reply. Never call you back. Only interested in making their commission . This agency acts more like a sales firm than an agency.

Big thanks to Laura who was my consultant during my employment with Adecco. We had very good communication throughout my assignment at all times, any queries or requests were easily managed and she provided regularly feedback from the company i was working for. Very pleased with my experience.

I work with Adecco in welwyn and needed some extra hours . They've been very helpful and every week they ensure I have additional hours . Special thanks to Kat she goes over and above to ensure I have work and paid on time.
Even coming in to check on me during shifts, so happy with this agency, didn't think I'd find extra work around my schedule but they made it possible.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with this agency, at the LEICESTERSHIRE BRANCH that left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a professional candidate. During a discussion about my desired salary, the agency representative made a dismissive comment, saying, "Let's not shoot yourself in the foot." This remark not only undermined my worth but also made me feel degraded in the process.
As someone who takes pride in my skills and qualifications, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism during such conversations. Being told not to "shoot myself in the foot" when discussing my salary preferences was not only unprofessional but also belittling. It is crucial for a body such as Adecco to understand that every candidate's desired salary is a reflection of their experience, expertise, and value in the industry.
I believe that as a professional candidate, I deserve to be heard and respected, rather than being subjected to dismissive remarks that diminish my worth. It is essential for agencies to approach salary negotiations with sensitivity and understanding, recognising the importance of valuing each candidate's contributions and aspirations.
I hope that this feedback serves as a reminder for agencies to treat all candidates with the respect and dignity they deserve.
