A good company...
...if you are already a pro.
Let me tell you my experience with the danish branch of Adecco (CPH area) circa 2006.
I was recruited in what they called the "Hospitality" program, as I'm not native to the country and unable to understand, let alone speak, danish.
Initially it was interesting, working as kitchen help (mostly cleaning dishes) and I even found myself with some good people.
I was looking for a place to stay (danish house market was a real battlefield) and when I found the most affordable I could for me and my former girlfriend, unfortunately my budget wouldn't do.
I had no car, so it was mostly through public transportation and occasionally on bike.
The rising expenses were driving me crazy and I asked my supervisor for a raise.
Answer: "it's this or get out and look for another job" (not a nice thing to say to a non native) and "I got several complaints from xyz" (they were never addressed before, they pulled them out of their bum right then and there).
Highlight of the complaints: "you are too intimidating and you don't talk too much" (I didn't knew dishes needed to be talked to in order to be washed properly, must be a danish thing).
Despite that, one place told me I was the best at what I was doing, compared to other people Adecco sent them.
Another one, the chef was so happy, she wanted to convince her boss to hire me.
And here comes the damning part.
Her boss regretfully informed me he couldn't hire me, because in order to do so, they had to pay Adecco quite a lot of money and they didn't feel like going through such an expense.
I had a price tag over my head, higher than what I gained in my paycheck, and I found out in the worse possible way.
So, unless you are a pro in what you do (HORECA, accounting, etc.) you are less than dirt for Adecco, yet too valuable to be given away.
The year after I even receive a tax refund that was far higher than what I gained, meaning that they were paying me lass than minimum wage and set the tax percentage like I getting a fat paycheck.
"Better work for better life" is the opposite of what my experience with them was.
STAY AWAY.
P. S.: If I get a response from Adecco, saying they are sorry and giving me their e-mail address, the only thing they will get will be a string of insults and a closeup of my unshaved genitals. You people are SCUM.

Applied to Adecco and was shocked by their unprofessionalism. They mislabelled my nationality, showing ignorance and a lack of respect. For a company their size, this is unacceptable clearly undertrained and careless. Think twice before trusting them.

one of the most uncomfortable recruitment experiences
I recently had an interview with Adecco and, unfortunately, it was one of the most uncomfortable recruitment experiences I’ve encountered. The interview was not conducted for a specific position, yet I felt I was being judged in a dismissive and condescending manner. The tone and attitude throughout felt overly bureaucratic and impersonal, with subtle but discriminatory comments that left me feeling undervalued. This experience stood in stark contrast to the professionalism I’ve received from other recruitment agencies. Thankfully, I’ve since had more constructive and respectful interviews elsewhere and will not be pursuing opportunities through Adecco moving forward.

Interview was long and the recruiter questioned every piece of my resume and analysed every answer. More on costs than the job itself. Applied for a full time job but only casual in a phone interview. Worse interview and the recruiter Vanessa was not helpful. Unprofessional experience working reccomend

Fake roles, bots, and database collection.
I was contacted by Adecco for a Content Designer position after they highlighted my profile as an excellent match. Despite promptly sending all the requested information and my multiple attempts to follow up, I never received a response. For a recruitment company to reach out, waste your time, and then ghost you—especially for a role far below your experience level—is deeply unprofessional and disrespectful. Truly disappointing.

Be wary of the exhaustive application process and no feedback for failed applicants
I applied for a Picker/Packer warehouse position at Woolworths in Australia. In the end my application failed, but only after:
1. Doing numerous online induction safety courses
2. Buying some steel capped boots & safety vest so I could attend the onsite walkthrough.
3. Attending the onsite walkthrough
4. Paying $43 for a police check
5. Completing an extensive ID check process online
6. Completing a medical questionaire
7. Driving 45mins to a medical/physio appointment
I consider myself relatively fit and healthy compared to most my age (52).
Then 2 weeks after my initial application I receive an email saying I was unsuccessful with NO FEEDBACK provided. I can only assume I failed something on the medical, despite completing all the tasks the physio gave me.
Not providing feedback is a terrible look for the time and money invested in applying for the position. Adecco, never again.
Marion OH/Whirlpool
I've worked thru temp agencies before but Adecco, Marion OH, was a complete waste of time. The interview was great, drug test passed, and then background check waiting started. After waiting a week with no answer, calling all office numbers which instantly go to voicemail, leaving a voicemail message and getting no response, I get a vague email. This email says many eligible points and one ineligible point, which was not specified. But this was not final however so they said. A few more days go by and I get a packet mailed with my name printed on the front welcoming me and containing retirement and 401K plans. Later that same day I got just one short email saying that I was no longer eligible for the position. I could've been paid twice at most temp agencies by then! Big waste of time and effort. Save yourself the trouble, there are better places out there and they place much quicker!

Ghosted
I was told on the Friday there was a Temporary position to start on the Monday I fitted all the criteria etc and they would call me back within the hour with the finer details. 2 hours later I hadn't heard from them I called them back to be told the person I need to speak to was away from their desk and they will call me when they was back. Hour later called again to be told they were out of the office. Emailed them direct no reply called them on the Monday and was told they were on annual leave. I was ghosted by this agency. The Harlow branch.

I applied for a position as an Amazon warehouse
I applied for a position for an Amazon Austria, a position for English speakers. The employee called me for a phone interview and spoke with not good English accent and was very impolite. Only a third of what was said was understandable. After a very polite request to speak more clearly, I was addressed with disrespectful remarks. After the conversation ended, the employee hung up without waiting for my answer.
Completed an assessment for a role
Completed an assessment for a role, and hadn’t heard back. Enquired about it further and received no response. Was contacted a few weeks later, to say the role was being re-opened, with a new application process and would I be interested. I said yes. Was then told that as I had completed the assessment within the last 3 months she shouldn’t have called me! Really poor organisation and communication. Sort it out.

Adecco Amazon Australia Associate Review
I applied as an Amazon associate working for Adecco Australia. I went through the entire process, everything from the Adecco induction, Australian Police Check, Drug and Alcohol testing and filling the application. Everything seemed to be fine, with the consultants even emailing me about my first day TWICE. The day before the induction day, they called me to inform me the Amazon intake was cancelled by Amazon. They told me Amazon informed them that morning. If they knew this would happen, why asking me to go through the whole process, wasting theirs and my time. Unless, what they told was not true, and I was not wanted. Where is the trust?
This is a good job
First there very helpful , nice and they make me feel like family not anything bad to say think this should be a good fit for me thank

Adecco Recruitment
I utilized Adecco as an agency to secure employment, and I had the pleasure of working with Bradely Douglas. Throughout the entire process, Bradely was incredibly supportive, guiding me through each step with remarkable responsiveness and accessibility. His friendly demeanor and approachability made a significant impact on my experience. I believe Bradely is a valuable asset to his organization, and I'm compelled to express my gratitude and appreciation through this review.

You might as well speak to a deaf parrot
I wrote a good review about Addeco in Chatham just before Christmas but I was too quick of the mark. I applied for a forklift job which Jake told me that there was a job going in Newhythe as a forklift driver. But this was a lie no forklift driving involved only moving 210 kilo drums of a standard pallet onto a euro pallet for eight hours a day. I told Jake that I left because the job he gave me was not what I wanted. He had forklift jobs on his site but he would not entertain me as I let him down not me. The Company do not help you get the job you want but they only think about there commission and give you the jobs that they can not fulfil.
