In general I'm satisfied with AddressPal, and despite high prices they still seem to be cheaper than other similar services. However, recently they lost a parcel for over two weeks in their US hub.... See more

Rubbish of a company
Rubbish of a company! My whole building has already filled a complaint against our delivery man, he is the rudest, ignorant, most unprofessional worker I have the displeasure to come across. Been waiting awake since 7AM for a parcel supposed to arrive today, I work from home so I am always here. At 11:30 my doorbell rings, and I go RUNNING to meet him there as I know he always has the "Missed delivery Letter" ready to put in our mail boxes and leaves. I meet him at the front door, he is putting letters in people's mail boxes, holding my parcel. I say hello, and he completely blanks me. I am standing an arm away from him. Does not acknowledge me, and leaves. I go back inside my house to get the key to open my mail box, to find what I knew what would be there: a missed delivery note filled. Now I have to go collect it, even though I was waiting beside the delivery man to have my package. Everytime a parcel is handled by An Post, I know I will have to end up collecting. Why do we pay delivery for? Online support is also a Joke, they send you to fill a complaint and nothing ever happens, and they close the chat on your face. If you go personally to Ravensdale and try to talk to a manager, they fob you off and tell you to fill the form online, and even worse, they say there are no managers available. An Post is a disgrace for this country!
Fantastic fast service
Fantastic service. Was able to order from a Spanish company who do not deliver to Ireland. The parcel arrived at addresspal in the UK and on the same day I received notification of the customs charges. Paid that and the parcel was then delivered to my home address 2 days later. Very impressive delivery window.
Would highly recommend using addresspal for companies who don't deliver to Ireland. Fast, efficient service.
I used to use it alot in the past but thought it had ceased following brexit, not so thankfully.
I should be allowed to give 0 star…
I should be allowed to give 0 star .This is a complete rip off.Bought an item on eBay for 20euros and then an post charged me 15 euros to get it delivered to Ireland and then They asked me to pay 18.75 euros for custom and VAT.It is a trap stay away form this company altogether
AddressPal - your worst nightmare
AddressPal - packages get opened during handling by AddressPal and not packaged back correctly resulting in a damaged delivered product. When confronted, Addresspal refused to take responsobility and blamed somebody else.
Addresspal is a rip off. AVOID!!!
AddressPal is a rip off. Paid 15 euros for 2 baseball caps (inc. VAT and shipping from the UK). However, by the An Post, the customs value was 28.76 euros, so they charged me almost 14 euros (VAT and handling fee) + 15 euros (for using AddressPal), so I had to pay almost 30 euro extra in total, just to get the 15 euro package. AVOID!!!
An post have become untrustworthy
An post have become untrustworthy. I've been living in my estate for 20 years. An post or local post man have been fantastic. A reliable service.
In the recent months they have changed dramatically. We don't get a daily service anymore. The post could arrive at 11am or 6pm or anything in-between. The packages are dumped outside the door and abandoned. We now have a problem with thieves and porch pirates. We never had this before.
It's become so bad that I can't order a package anymore. Not something that won't fit in my letterbox. It will be stolen. It's not the postman stealing these it's the local scumbags.
Addresspal are thieves
Addresspal charge ridiculous prices for their services, regardless of the size of item & price e.g. £3 they'll charge 5 times that price to post it to you. Bunch of thieves they are. Don't use their service AVOID!!!!
AddressPal are the worst delivery service I have ever dealt with.
AddressPal are the worst delivery service I have ever dealt with. My package was delivered to the addresspal office on 2nd Feb and I finally received it (after numerous follow-up phone calls to addresspal ireland) on 23 Feb - it took over 3 weeks to get a small package from their office in the US to my address in Ireland. I paid all payments and customs charges immediately when I was notified.
At one stage I asked addresspal ireland to pick up the phone and contact their office in the US to find out what was happening with my package and the answer I got was "we don't have a phone number for our office in the US, we can only contact them by email" !!!!! This is 2026, with AI and chatbots being introduced everywhere, yet addresspal can't even phone from one office to another because they don't have a phone number for their US office.
DHL or UPS would probably have delivered the package in 2 days, with addresspal it's 22 days!!!
Sharing my experience as I found it…
Sharing my experience as I found it hard to get a review when I considered using the service. I used address pal to order a hoody from USA that didn’t ship to Ireland for my daughter’s birthday.
Order placed with supplier on 15th of Jan delivered by company to US warehouse on 27/01. On 02/01 the package was scanned in by anpost address pal and payment was taken. Customs charges were applied on 04/02 and I paid the same day. It was prepared for delivery 05/02 and delivered on 06/02. Excellent service very very happy. Will 100% use again. Obviously wait times are going to be longer during busy periods
Castletroy post office
Pat in the Castletroy post office was exceptional and couldn't do enough for the customers! She went above and beyond her duties.
Sent a very special card to all my…
Sent a very special card to all my family in Belfast, London and Glasgow a week in advance of the one year anniversary of my brotherinlaw's death. None arrived in time. All took two weeks..for letter post to Belfast!
Several Xmas cards arrived well after Xmas and now my friends are upset because their cards to me on birthday Feb 1st haven't arrived.
At the same time An Post increased prices. This is a rubbish unreliable over priced service. Don't trust.
I wish I could give it no stars.... Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!!!
I wish I could give it no stars.
Absolutly appauling service. I received no update regarding a package which was delivered to their hub in London so I followed up with their "Support" team only to be told that they are looking for it and will let me know when they have an update. 3 weeks and 6 unanswered emails later I receive an automated email form An Post saying that I have been charged for the service. I can only assume that this means An Post eventually found my packang and is now processing it. Zero communication from An Post regarding an explaination, or a waive of fee for the lack of service, or god forbid an apologie. I never write reviews but I had to in this case, so bad. Dont use them ever..... over proced and totally unusable service. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!!!
Another price increase
Another price increase. An post whinge about people not using their service. But then hike prices left and right. I had been using address pal up until the last price increase. I used it once. But now with another one. They can take a hike. They're sinking their own ship.
Items from Target Missing
I order items from Target, and some of the items that should be part of the order are now missing.
won't be using this service again.
Rubbish Service
What a joke, I have used AddressPal several times in the past, but never again. Paid the over inflated customs and now my items are stuck somewhere in their system! No communication, non existent customer service, nothing. Contacted them several times to no avail, they don’t know where they are and how long it will take to find/deliver them. Rubbish Service. Come on An Post provide the service we paid for.
An post overvalued the item and added…
An post overvalued the item and added the uk postage as the value of the item. So an item value of 20 euro was inflated to 75 euro. When you speak to a customer service assistant, they hang up the call on you. No help. The item was a handmade birthday present. My uk friend tried to cover the cost on the uk side so nothing would have to be paid. An post will inflate the value and overcharge at any opportunity. There is no customer service.
Customs processing fee. Really?
I have used AddressPal several times from UK and the US as well. Never had any issues with delivery times or custom charges. However giving 4 stars only because I think the "customs processing fee" 6 EUR is BS as you are already paying for the service which is more expensive than standard delivery.
Address Pal avoid
So bad, address pal avoid avoid avoid
missing items getting stonewalled with no resolution, when i do eventually get a response it is the same recycled template questions that I have answered several times already, it’s an expensive service to use and the cost does not match the service provided at all
I have used them 5 times in the past and find it great value
I have used them 5 times in the past month and find it very good considering the price. Im of the opinion if the item is not urgent . I paid €235 to FedEx for a 32 kg parcel on road service to Ireland from UK. If i had sent 2 separate parcels using address pal it would only have cost me a 30€ with address pal including customs. Handling. Customs handling involves the same work if the item is worth €5 or €500 so its unfair to expect anpost to do it for less just because u bought something for £5 from e bay. If you follow the rules and have a receipt attached to the consignment by the vendor the service works well
Lots of negative review - No me
Lots of negative review, I had a positive experience. Parcel arrived to the Delaware depot and I was notified promptly. My cc was out of date and I had to update and they did not charge for another 3 days which is my only complaint. Parcel was promptly delivered to Ireland, VAT & Duty easily paid and then delivered to my house. Apart for the cc payment delay (partly my fault) I have no real complaint, they did what they said they would do.
