unknown delivery time

I ordered some curtain rail which was supposed to arrive within a week. After 3 weeks I received half of my orders. Now is five weeks later and the customer service of Ackerman simply tell me it is not their responsibility! The orders are from other companies. They even don't bother to follow up and check when I am going to receive my orders!!! By far the worst experience I had in online shopping.

Discount worked and in 3 days I had it home

I want sure to buy in Ackermann because all the reviews I read here. I decided give it a try. I wanted to pay by card but the discount was not applied. I texted the support and in less than 4h they replied to me that they do a prebooking of the money until they can validate the discount. Strange but very nice that the support replied so promptly. I decided to pay by bill as I didn't want to deal with possible problems in the validation. 3 days later I had it in the door of my house with the right amount to pay in the bill. I can't be happier with mi purchase.

I bought sneakers

I bought sneakers, the invoice and mail confirmation showed 90 chf, but credit card was charged 120 chf, it is a pure scam. do not buy there

Original Braun shaver cleaner fluids

Everything was as expected with ordering and prompt delivery, no problems whatsoever. Price very competitive (with promo code).
I have ordered from Ackermann several times before and the only gripe I have with them is that I always have to request a payment slip with QR code when I get tge bill, otherwise I'd have to type in all the long bank numbers manually (very inconvenient). The QR payment slips should be issued automatically with the bill like all other online retailers in Switzerland. However their customer service is easy to reach and they are very responsive. I would continue to order from them as long as the price is right.

Terrible delays, no updates

Made an order that was supposed to be delivered within a week; 2 1/2 weeks later, it is still "being prepared".

No updates were given proactively; a first call informed me that there were delays at the warehouse. Tried to call again several times today, but nobody picked up...

Fast and good quality

I ordered a light outdoor jacket. It arrived in a few days. the jacket has a good quality, the sized run a little bit large, I think.

Customer Service has little knowledge and won't reply

Wrote a question to customer service to understand about one product what they were offering exactly. The reply from the employee was obviously wrong, and so I told him. I have not received any further reply. It is obvious that the customer service has little knowledge what they are selling.

terrible customer experience

I ordered a vest for my grandmother, it was supposedly in stock. A few days later I get an automated mail saying that there is a delay. After a few days, I email them to ask how long they expect this delay to be. I get an email back to ask again the next day 🤷🏻‍♀️. When I do just that, I get a reply that it is lost in transport.
I then get a notification from PayPal that I have a refund from Ackermann. Mind you, only partial and no communication about this from Ackermann.
A few days later I get a notification from the Swiss post to alert me of the delivery. So I get back to customer service, asking me what I should do with the package. The answer: we will ask someone else, have some patience 😳 (this was 2 days ago at the time of writing).
I have received 3 requests for feedback on my experience, I have left 2 very negative ones on my customer service experience. No one has ever contacted me about this feedback.
I buy a lot online and this is definitely one of the worst experiences. Would give 0 stars if that would be possible.

Not improved

Had a bad experience years ago, but on Black Friday they had a very good deal and I decided to give them another chance. Needless to say, a week after my order, they realised delivery times was 2 months instead of two weeks, so I had to order again somewhere else, and missed on other Black Friday discounts.

Cant believe they are still in business

Cant believe they are still in business

Terrible experience, received damaged items and then i received only half of the items that were to be replaced, I am still waiting for it all to be replaced more than 4 months later. I was offered 30 CHF gift card to apologise for this. Shameless...

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! I rarely have seen a company who can even annoy non-customers that much. Incredible and quite an achievement to be honest.
An error in their system caused to send out renewal confirmations of their membership and mentioned a credit card charge. I am not a customer, so sent them an email pointing out that there is a mistake. I got an email saying sorry... all ok so far (although not quite sure how they got my email address). Following the incident I requested to delete my personal data incl my email address (which they obvioulsy have saved somewhere for marketing purpuses without my agreement in the first place, data protection regulations don't seem to apply to them). One month and three chasers later I got a standard confirmation that I don't have an account - which I knew already and didn't answer my request. Only after complaining again, I got a confirmation that my data is deleted - no sorry, no explanation what went wrong, no acknowledgement of any of the issues raised - just a simple standard email "We confirm your data is deleted." Well, got there in the end - but definitely lost a possible future customer. If they struggle already with data protection when it comes to my email address, I'm wondering how they would handle my home address or bank account details. I won't try.

Terrible company

Terrible company. I will no longer shop with them. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. They have hung up on me several times, ignore emails, they continue to send emails saying I owe them money! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
It started with one of their coupons. I purchase 2 pairs of winter boots and returned one pair. I had used a 40CHF coupon with the boots. I kept the more expensive of the 2 pairs of boots for 99.90. There was NO minimum amount order for the 40CHF coupon like there ususally is. I still have possession of the coupon and I have sent pictures of the coupon to their customer service. They, originally, cleared the account and credited the coupon for the 99.90 boots. Then a month later they send me a bill with additional charges saying I didn't pay. This is where it has all bee going sideways for the last 2 months. I am now up to 60CHF owed because they are compounding the interest. I am beyond frustrated and just want this sorted and over with. I can't believe that it is OK to treat customers like this.

They sold me a counterfeit electric…

They sold me a counterfeit electric toothbrush. I have realized it quickly as Philips could not help me when it stopped working. When contacted Ackermann for help, they never replied to me. I am very disappointed it was a Christmas gift that already arrived with 2 months delay, obviously it wasn't there by Christmas as they promised.

EXTREMELY rude customer service

EXTREMELY rude customer service. After reading the reviews here, I am going to cancel the entire order (if it was even placed, with their unstable internet site- who knows?). An internet search shows the same item I wanted from these jokers in Germany for almost half the price. Ripped off by a Swiss company and treated badly- no thanks!

Still waiting 9 weeks later

We ordered a rug from Ackermann on 11 November 2020, which we are still waiting for. The rug has been with Swiss Post sorted for delivery since 4 December, but there is an issue from Ackermann's side. Swiss Post requires that Ackermann contact them, but after calls and an email weeks ago that hasn't been responded to, we are no closer to getting our rug. The customer service is non-existent. It is ridiculous to think that we are still waiting over 9 weeks later for a rug that said 3-5 days delivery. I absolutely do not recommended Ackermann.

Just avoid this company

Just avoid this company - I ordered a phone on cyber Monday and was told on the following Wednesday that it was sold out. They would not offer me an alternative product and as they cancelled the order so late, I was not able to take advantage of other offers. This company is really very poor, customer service it terrible and you have no idea if you actually get what you order.

A complete disaster

I've ordered an item supposedly immediately available. It turned out to take me almost 2 months to complete the process. The furniture I've ordered consisted in 2 items. The first one arrived heavily damaged, and not even properly wrapped. I had lots of troubles and back and forth emails to arrange a return, which took quite some time. No quality assurance, no customer service, complicated returns sounds like a good recipe to make clients unhappy.
