I had some problems with my much loved Proboil PB2X but I am absolutely delighted with the brilliant customer service I received from Margery. I hope that the boiler lasts well now, but I know that Margery will be her lovely helpful self should I have any further issues. What a breath of fresh air in this era of generally absent or poor customer service in many places.

My recent warranty issue with the Proboil 2x could easily have turned into a major problem, but the company handled it well (finally). After initial delays, Kris in Customer Care stepped in and completely turned the situation around. Kris's intervention restored confidence in the product and the brand. The warranty claim was honoured.
Excellent customer service and a great example of how after-sales support should be handled. Fully deserving of five stars.

From start to finish, Proboil handled my issue professionally and fairly. After a fault with my PB2X unit, their customer experience team reviewed the case quickly and agreed to replace the boiler as a gesture of goodwill, which I really appreciated.
Communication throughout was clear and helpful. I was given practical maintenance advice, clear installation guidance, and all the relevant support documents without having to chase.
Thanks in particular to Margery and the team for their support and sensible approach to resolving the issue. A good example of how customer service should work.

Although I had an issue with my ProBoil 2x, when I contacted the Customer Service Team, I had a dedicated member of the team called Olivia who listened to the situation, guided me through what was needed to diagnose the issue, and resolved the issue without issue, fuss, and made me feel like as an end user I actually mattered to their business. I cannot recommend or commend Olivia & the Customer Service enough.

Contacted chstomer services with regard to leaking boiling tap. A plumber said I needed a new tap. Margery was exceptional. She explained how to strip the handle and told be the size of the alen key and included a diagram to strip the tap. A new valve arrived the next day. Repair completed. Thank you.

Love my Proboil, however when it encountered a fault I was concerned I'd have to fork for a new one however the team (Margery) was excellent! I'm waiting on a new one at no cost as I was covered under warranty. Excellent service!

I am very dissatisfied with the way this company has handled my boiler warranty. From the day of installation, I sent clear images to register the warranty. We were then informed that a cap was missing — something we were never given in the first place.
We immediately resolved the issue and have had no problems with the boiler.
Despite this, the company chose to void all future warranties, using this minor installation detail as a reason to avoid their responsibility.
This feels like an excuse rather than genuine customer support. We acted promptly, provided all evidence, and followed the process correctly — yet we were still denied a warranty.
They said ‘ Your current installation isn’t as per the guide and voids the boilers warranty if the install is kept this way.’ So never said at this point it was void.
That is not how a trustworthy company should treat its customers.
It’s extremely disappointing to see a company prioritise technicalities over fairness and customer care. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to be cautious when relying on their aftercare or warranty services.
Imagine paying for one of these to then be advised no warranty for something outside of your control.

Purchased two mixer taps for utility and kitchen sinks, not the cheapest but I believe you get what you pay for. Having had a slight issue with one of the taps, I contacted customer service and a very friendly person named Stephen responded straight away and resolved my problem in a very professional, friendly and speedy manner. Glad I paid that bit extra for the taps as the customer service received was priceless. Would certainly recommend and buy from them again.

I ordered an O ring kit which failed to arrrive apparently due to an address issue. I rang up and spoke to Olivia who despite the insignificant cost of the order, moved things along to arrange early delivery. This shows that there is great customer care within the organisation and I highly recommend Abode and their products.

Needed to contact Customer services for technical assistance; not a problem with the tap but tap became loose on the worktop. Spoke to three members of the C/S team who were all extremely helpful, professional and very patient. Problem solved. Team are a credit to their company.

Poor quality kitchen taps
I’ve purchased two taps from abode designs and had the same issue both times. The first tap started dripping within 2 years and the second after a year. Kitchen taps should last much longer than this, even in a hard water area. The guarantee only covers parts and not labour, so I will be out of pocket for the replacement. I will not purchase any other items from this retailer.
