Liverpool game - great experience
We booked a Liverpool v Brighton package with Paul from Abbey Travel and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout, with clear and timely emails and no issues at all with ticket delivery.
The hotel selection was very good and well located, and the match tickets were in a great lower-tier location. The pre-match entertainment in the Beats Lounge was a real highlight and added to the overall experience. Special guest was Steve Staunton.
A wonderfully organised trip that delivered great memories created — we would happily book with Abbey Travel again.

Abbey travel did not do their research…
Abbey travel did not do their research on our hotel in Vienna.
The hotel had changed its name last year. We were over three hours looking for our hotel in Vienna that didn’t exist.
When we rang Abbey Travel they did not have a clue. Eventually we found a hotel which was over six kilometres from the city centre. Next time Abbey travel do your research. Thumbs down for me on this one.
The girl in Abbey apologised as she said the hotel had changed names and she couldn’t find it either. Also your add says it’s 4km. Stop making excuses and admit your company made a mistake..

Upon investigating your issue we can confirm the name and address of the hotel on your travel voucher are correct.
When you book your holiday online we also provide the hotel name and address with its location shown on the map, so you would have been aware that it is located 6 kilometres from the centre of Vienna.
The issue is that the hotel has not updated its name on google maps which unfortunately is out of our control.
Despite this we do hope you had a lovely time in Vienna.

Abbey travel so helpful and kind
Abbey travel was sooo helpful to me. I phoned and got through to a lady called Michelle, she listened attentively to my problem, which I was concerned about. She guided me to contact admin by email. Within a few minutes a lovely lady called Alannah Lawlor phoned me explained and gave options to me. I am so thankful to both ladies who put my mind at rest. Thank you again.

Got tickets for my partner and son for Chelsea v Barcelona. Paul from Abbey Travel sports was so helpful and once booked i was able to pay in installments. Everything went great for them in London and they are already talking about booking another game for the new year. Would highly recommend Abbey Travel.

Extremely Disappointed with Customer Service
Our experience with Abbey Travel has been deeply frustrating from the very beginning Sept 2024 and continues to be so. We've encountered constant hurdles throughout the process, and in many cases, we had to take matters into our own hands because our assigned agent failed to follow through on key responsibilities.
We are currently in an ongoing dispute over an invoice for a hotel stay and private transfer for two people—services that were clearly offered to us as complimentary. Abbey Travel was aware of this arrangement, by another company yet still chose to bill us. The lack of accountability and poor communication has made an already disappointing experience even worse.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious and double-check every detail when booking through this agency. As they mentioned they did get in contact via phone but didn't feel that we treated badly at all.... infact they ignored us. I think their replies to reviews are standard
