8 ball pool is extremely similar to a gambling site.

I have decided to change my review for brevity.

8 ball pool is literally a gambling game hidden under the image of it being a simple pool game. The amount of skill that is required is always overshadowed by the amount of luck needed.

Yes, skill is still a main factor but there are heavily luck based. These include:
- Matchmaking and who you go against, maybe going against a higher rated player or possibly even a cheater
- Who shoots first
- Ball position as having a terrible position can literally define who wins from the start
- Shooting fast with little control of where the balls go.

Other problems I've noticed are the amount of pop-ups that seem to appear frequently, sometimes in a way where you may accidentally purchase something. The matchmaking is also dreadful, with lower levels being paired with those who have played for years on end.

Another major problem that i have came across more often in the recent days is the amount of hackers, which seem to have populated the game more noticeably and seem to dominate many tables higher up and sometimes even on special tables on any bet. I've seen so many people with a 70% win rating, who are able to sneak out of any situation in such an inhuman and unpredictable way, but even reporting them won't get them banned.

Also the game is INSANELY addictive, with the game trying to hook you on with consistent prizes and the thought of losing out on them, whilst the gambling aspect keeps the players hoping that they can win one more time, just to lose earnings from dozens of games within a couple of them. The whole game is predatory, and with everything that has been said, its clear they are after everyone's money.

I think I've gotten the point across but here are other issues:
- game sending you to the highest table you can bet on, so if you misclick you will bet the majoirty of your earnings away
- weird disconnections mid game
- rigged reward wheel
- people hacking to garner significant amounts of money so they can sell the account. Miniclip seems to not care about this from my view as it takes 5 seconds to find them on the global leaderboards
- manipulative strategies to try and squeeze money out of you

Your game is rigid

Your game is rigid! If you buy tokens, expect your win% to go down. Your ball to be tucked behind every ball or to scratch when unreasonable. They choose the winner. I had a solid 45% win rate every day for a month, then bought coins. Over the next two days I won 4 out of 40 games, 10% win rate. I'm deleting this riged game.

DEMOTED & STOLEN FROM

It’s a fun game for the most part. I have people challenge me and the reason I ALWAYS decline is because the LAST time I took someone up on a challenge I got screwed-over BIG TIME! I don’t know what they did, but every time after, even when I won, it said I didn’t. ANOTHER time, I somehow wound up WAY up high where the people who REALLY know what they’re doing are.THEY have a LIVE chat-site where they make fun of other players screw-ups. . When I got there, I posted “I don’t belong here-how did I get HERE “? I had also been telling some other players what a good game they had. Anyway, they were also speaking between themselves & saying that “She doesn’t belong here”. Next thing I know, I was DEMOTED! They put me back all the way to thee very BEGINNING! They also took away EVERYTHING I had! I hadda start totally over again! WTF was THAT crap?!? (I don’t remember the EXACT date but it won’t let me just approximate. It was around Oct.2024, but it’s listed as Dec.26,2024 I also recently played a game where the other player & I had to hit as close to the red circle as you can. I won! I ACTUALLY took a micrometer & measured it! Could it be because the woman was Black & I’m NOT? .AGAIN I say- WTF?!? And P.S.The people who say “I’m outta here” after they lose a game are a bunch of whiny, bratty losers who sound like children! Guess what whiny losers? NOBODY CARES!!!

Cheated out of points

I am playing the contest and betting 10 tickets at a time and "winning" and not being awarded any points. So far I've been cheated out of 9,500 points and remain at 2,450.
This is frustrating.
I have taken screen shots of the before and afters proving my amounts bet and my wins. Where are my points???!!!

Full of cheaters that the mods and admins do nothing about. Your opponent will always break-and-run you while you never get a break-and-run because you’re somehow always scratching.

This game starts out fun but in the long run after you reach a certain point it's stacked against you you will lose I've been on this game for months now every time I re up on coins to play games I get to a certain point and then all the sudden no matter what you do you're going to lose tables change speed so you scratch you make shots and they don't count it turns into just a frustrating aggravating game I don't even know how they get this side of a reading I'm getting off it I've had enough of it believe me it's fixed and then on top of that the accidental touches on very high stakes games and once you accidentally hit the button you can't back out of it they will get you that way too it's not worth it find another pool game

This company is so sh*t

This company is so sh*t . I’m glad I’m not the only one who gets cheated, they should call this game fixed pool . I've been playing for a few months and I've had this situation where I make one of my balls and then it gives it to the other person as if I had missed or ran out of time ⏲️. Also , the white mysteriously will go down if you look like winning so you lose . I’ve counted this in 9 consecutive games when I’ve had a full piggie bank . The help people haven’t got a clue . This game is fixed to get you to buy and pay money . I don’t buy or bother as it’s so fixed .
