They scam non-US buyers with a fake VAT tax that in reality goes straight into their pockets. On the other hand, they have a very responsive customer support that admits such behavior from their side.... See more

love the braclet and if this pays to pick up any garbage out of the ocean it is worth it.
I believe in what you're doing
I believe in what you're doing. I checked and made sure before I purchased n two water Bottles. I saw a photo of a seal who's head was caught in a plastic bag. This has to come to an end. The rest of the world should follow suit.
I looked into this company before I…
I looked into this company before I paid for anything. I believe they are doing something good for our planet and for all the creatures that call the ocean's home. I ordered bracelets and I will order more. I also wrote them asking if they sell their sticker's so I could buy some for my new car and they not only answered, they sent me a bunch that we can hand out at our shark party. They did not ask for money or postage, they just sent it! So they are not a charity...I believe in what they are doing and that's good enough for me! My daughter and I loved our bracelets and will be ordering more.

Love the bracelets and what they represent. Great colors and design and my daughter (13) and I give them to everyone we know.

Selling plastic to have less plastic in the world. That's just stupid. Also, 20 dollar? How is that divided. Open up your financial books....
Until they do that, i consider this a scam!
Their customer support is OK. However please consider watching this video on youtube: "Is the 4ocean bracelet a scam?"
4ocean tried to remove my review. But this is a honest review that they should keep. The person removing the review should think twice.

I love my bracelets...it's nice to show that you care about the environment. When I got my first one, I didn't know how to adjust it and when I wrote to them, they immediately sent my another one free of charge and showed me how to adjust the size. I lived in California for 30 years and don't want to see the pollution in our oceans.
4ocean is NOT a scam
A few days ago I would have rated it a 1 but I sent an email to them I got told that my bracelet had been lost. But now that I've got it, it's perfect.
4Ocean is AMAZING!!
I have been really appalled scrolling through some of the low rated reviews. Its obvious people are not seeing the BIG PICTURE. 4ocean is NOTin the bracelet business.
Rather,CLEANING UP OUR PRECIOUS OCEANS!!
This is no easy task .
I have donated towards this cause and believe in this idea 100%
And by the way, the bracelets I received were just fine..
I understood I wasn't buying a gemstone high quality bracelet.. rather, something that had been recycled from the crap 4ocean gather from our precious oceans..
Keep up the Great work.. I pick up crap as often as possible on our beaches and speak out when possible..
Thank-you...
While I understand 4ocean is working…to clean the oceans, their brackets are worthless.
While I understand 4ocean is working for a good cause, their
bracelet isn't worth the price of postage. Mine lasted ONE day
before it fell apart. The knots don't hold together and you can't
keep it on you're wrist. Good luck trying to get someone from 4ocean
to respond back to you. Consider the money a donation not a
purchase.
Absolutly Beautiful
The coral reef bracelet I ordered was beautiful and I wear it almost everyday. I plan on ordering three more for my mom, sister, and sister-in-law for Christmas. I love how you get to choose which animal you would like to focus on and they get so many compliments. It makes me feel like even this small contribution can help our oceans in the long run.
Get a grip!
What is wrong with you people who are saying that this is a scam because you didn’t get your bracelet? The purpose is to help 4 Ocean in their cause to clean the plastic up not to make and sell jewelry. They are not a retail business they are so gooders! At least they are making a real impact on the oceans. Have you seen a baby whale dead because it was poisoned by plastic while it’s mother holds it and mourns? You are donating to prevent any more mothers from holding their dead baby. They die because of what we humans do! Get a grip!
I love my bracelet
I love my bracelet. I purchased the one with blue and green thread. To me those are the colors of Gift of Life transplant group. My husband had a liver/kidney transplant 2 years ago. As with any group or product there are ney sayers. We choose to live on the positive side and live for our donar.
Excellent Charity
I can’t BELIEVE some reviewers! This is a CHARITY that happens to CLEAN THE PLASTIC OUT of our OCEANS. And they’re complaining their bracelet doesn’t work. Cripe people are meatheads.
I’ve been donating to this charity for almost a year. Not one problem.
They do what they say they do. They’ve taken millions of lbs. of plastic from our waters. The bracelet is small beads on a string made from recycling that plastic. They send monthly emails and bracelets to keep us informed about their projects.
GREAT CHARITY

Donated for 2 bracelets, received one. Knot is too tight to open & retie it & it just falls off wrist DO NOT DONATE TO THESE GUYS....
SCAM ARTISTS.

I am inspired by how you have created the enthusiasm of clean up for the oceans .
I want to ask what happens to all the plastic you collect , where is it shipped to and how is it used in the next stage of life beside bracelets
It is a business, not charity!
Don't get misled, this is a company that sells bracelets. They are just really good at making it seem like charity.
If you want to feel good about yourself, go to the beach, catch 2 pounds of plastic and save 40 dollars.
You don't need to be a genius to understand that 1 pound for 20 dollars is really inefficient when tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean every day.
Although their website, as well as a lot of what they do and claim, is shady, they do not seem to be doing anything illegal, and at the same time, they are getting rich at your expense
I bought One, because I was a foul. Their service was good. STILL, IT IS A SCAM!
They are taking down the comments? And trustpilot goed with it? The reviews should help people find scams! And this is one! How can you have trust in your name?

I am wondering what percentage of the net profits (after salaries for the jobs created, overhead, etc) go to the cause? I think this idea is great, and I understand the logic stated concerning why for-profit status works better for the mission than non-profit, but I'm still wondering what percentage of the NET goes to the owners versus the cause. This is very important information when deciding about charitable giving. My girls are having lemonade stands to support 4Ocean, and I hope they are actually supporting cleaning the ocean and expanding the reach, not enriching the owners. I see these comments are reviewed closely by the company... can you share the information with everyone please?
Remember the goal please
I am trying to donate to this monumental task I am not really concerned with getting bracelets but I'm sure my kids would like to have. My daughter has expressed becoming a marine biologist and this my be the boost she needs,We live in Ga and can travel to help. I have read some of the reviews and a majority of the bad reviews are in my opinion unfounded, Great job 4ocean.

I jumped on this to share with my grand daughter living in Virginia Beach, VA. She is 13 and the perfect age to create an awareness and possibly a volunteer. Even if she gets her own group of friends together and clean the beaches - well, it teaches them duty to community, doing something honorable for their time and effort and hopefully, planting seeds for their future life choices. A for profit company is not the boogey man!!! My husband ran a not for profit post graduate school for 25 years. Rule #1 was: never take money from the government. And, they didn't. All things were raised by private donations from basically hard working people - irrespective of "class". Yes, it would be easy to scam us all. Yes, doesn't take much to come up with glossy photos. But, I have faith this fledgling company is on to something very big. Too soon to be too critical. Unless egos take over and it is their sincere desire to make an impact on our world's oceans - then I will pray for them, hope they get a decent paycheck, put the calculated monies needed to put back into the business and wish them well. Folks who live in glass houses ought not throw stones. If you really want to get annoyed, check out the Clinton Foundation!!!!!!!!!!!
