If you like shelling out for someone to fix their own faulty work then I could not recommend more highly. Otherwise…
We had a filtration system fitted by prosep which, to be fair works as intended.
Shortly after install we noticed a leak coming from the overflow. After repeated telephone calls and promises of a visit I chased. They attended and found the problem - the Baldock in the cold water tank (that they had emptied as part of the instal) wasn’t adjusted correctly. Easy fix!
I wasn’t expecting a £300 bill for the privilege of them putting right the problem that THEY created. But hey…
They dispute this but the evidences simple - before fitting no problem; after fitting leak. You do the math!!
A few weeks later they sent a chap out to do a routine service. When he left we had an airlock which left us with no hot water. So I called him expecting “sorry, I’ll come straight back and sort this out”. Instead I was told “it’s not a problem, go and cut a length of hosepipe and…” - I stopped him at that point and said I wasn’t about to start fixing his work. His response was to tell me to call out a plumber! So I did - on a Friday night!!! ££££
The helpline was of no use - the person on the other end couldn’t help and couldn’t reach anyone who could.
So imagine my surprise when I get a bill for this ‘service’ (i think inverted commas are appropriate…). I called to dispute and discuss and was eventually told that they don’t see any point in a conversation and that they will not be entering into any correspondence.
Next came threats of legal action,
Safe to say the chances of me going anywhere near these clowns again are remote.
