Classes seem okay. Terrible company & misleading financial policies

The classes itself seem good. But they really don’t give anyone much time to cancel. The trial is not a trial class, it is a do the class and we bill you after unless you cancel class. At first I thought okay we will try it. But then life happened - my mom went into hospital, a cross country move happened, meaning an entire month of classes went unused after the trial, and their support was unable to offer any help other then telling me how I can cancel further classes by logging in.
There is no onboarding process, nobody asks you how you liked it, and they don’t bother to tell you a tablet is not going to be helpful for this class.

I don’t think companies like this should be supported by anyone. It encourages misleading billing and poor customer support policies.

Please consider canceling or not signing up to begin with.

Hi there Hannah,

First off, thank you for your feedback. It sounds like we may not have clearly communicated how we transition from a trial to a subscription. Our process is that once a child attends their first session, we wait 72 hours before charging the card if we don’t hear back from you. We do send out emails to highlight this, but I understand how it could be missed. That said, we always issue a refund if someone chooses not to continue, which we’ve done in your case as well.

As the founder, it’s on me to ensure our communication is clearer. My focus has always been on creating a program that equips kids with the tools to achieve their dreams, but sometimes we fall short on explaining our processes. I’m truly sorry for the confusion and promise to work on doing better.
