In my opinion individuals do better with licensed therapists. Therapists/social workers have extensive training and state licensing and regulations. My teen went here and did not learn tools needed for emotional regulation. She is now in therapy and we are seeing amazing results managing her feelings.

Our program is designed as a skills-based coaching and prevention platform, not clinical care. For many children, therapy is absolutely the right and most effective choice.

For families considering tapouts, we’re very transparent that we do not diagnose, treat, or replace therapy. Instead, we focus on building emotional vocabulary, resilience, confidence, and social skills in a structured, supportive environment. For some children this is a great fit; for others, especially when clinical symptoms or deeper struggles are present, licensed therapy is the appropriate path.
