Review of Sensiseeds
They deducted money twice from my bank account. I tried for 6 months to get a reimbursement for the 2nd withdrawal, with one response inbetween it'd get processed now, but money never came.
The seeds were garbage too. 1 friend (with previous growing experience) ordered around the same time but none of the seeds turned into something.
Stay away from this company. They are scammers.
Review of Northsocks
Never received the socks I ordered during the Black Friday Week (worth more than 35 euros) - it was sent out but has been in transit for more than 5 weeks now. I have contacted Northsocks' shipping provider twice without response. Then contacted Northsocks customer service twice for help but they are not responding either. Very disappointing as they were supposed to be gifts for Christmas. I don't see another way than request a refund through my credit card company. :(
Review of Freedom Mobile
Poor connection and they make it ridiculously annoying for you to cancel the service. Will avoid Freedom Mobile at all cost in the future.
Review of Wholesome Culture
Horrible company! Stay away from them and spend your hard-earned money on a company that actually values you and the vegan lifestyle!
I placed an order for 2 T-shirts and 1 sweater on March 25th (total value close to US$100). According to their website then, it'd take 10-15 days to arrive in Canada. Sounds great, I thought.
On April 8th, I noticed that although the money was deducted from my bank account immediately, I never received an order or shipping confirmation. I reached out via customer service and was told they had issues and it would take another 2 weeks to arrive. I was ok with that but still didn't receive any confirmations.
On April 29th, I still hadn't received anything. I checked their website again, which they had changed in the meantime, to now say any orders placed before March 30th wont go out until May 1st - 6th!! Over 5 WEEKS after I placed my original order!!
I reached out again to confirm that the package would arrive by the 15th of May as I am moving apartments that day and can no longer accept the package beyond that time. Assuming they'd really send orders on May 1st as described, there'd still be 2 weeks to arrive in Canada (As a side note: I sent a few parcels and mail between the US and Canada during the pandemic and nothing took longer than a week. Wholesome Culture states everything is produced in NY sooo). However, Customer Service told me they couldn't guarantee that deadline. I told them, I want to cancel my order, to which they agreed.
On April 30th, Wholesome Culture send me confirmation that my money was refunded (not in process, but refunded!!), but not a single cent of my money arrived. On May 13th, I followed up again, to which I received a note saying I need to wait 2 more business days and that the full 10 business days hadn't passed yet (they had exactly that date!).
Anyways, I waited 2 more days as they said but here we go again, money still hasn't arrived. From what I read on older reviews this has happened plenty of times with Wholesome Culture. Current status "I'll look into it and get back to you." Yeahhh right, pulling up that refund confirmation shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes.
Honestly, I'm so disappointed. I loved the concept and idea but it turns out, this company is the wolf in sheep skin. After some research, their "designs" can be found all across Alibaba. They delete negative comments/ reviews off their Instagram and Facebook pages to hide what's really going on, and the "responses" here on Trustpilot are all copy & pasted.
And are they really doing sustainability efforts? I don't think so. They claim they donated $70,000 since 2016. Where is the proof and breakdown for this? How much did each organization receive? On the WC website it states, 3 organizations were helped in 2018. What about 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020? Which other organizations do you support? On what criteria do you select them? If they'd be truly committed to their sustainability efforts, they'd be encouraged to publicize this information, as it has real marketing value vs the vague description on their website.
Interestingly, the 3 organizations that apparently received donations from Wholesome Culture are 1) Rancho Relaxo, 2) Woodstock Sanctuary, 3) Sale Ranch Sanctuary.
#3 (SRS) lists WC as their corporate partner on their website. BUT:
Rancho Relaxo doesn't mention WC. And Woodstock Sanctuary actually has a nice list of their corporate partners/ cruelty-free product endorsements and surprisingly, Wholesome Culture is not listed among them.
I wish I had read all the negative reviews before I placed my order. The money I guess is lost but I'll be sure to spread the word around family/ friends to never place an order with them.
Wholesome Culture - preaching kindness and sustainability when in reality it's an unethical, untrustworthy company doing false advertising.
