Fixed price contract - Doesn't EXIST! Although i confirmed an 18 month fixed price contract until MARCH 2022, they have now put this up by £2 a month, and told me if i now choose to leave i will incur a charge of over £112! I now have no choice but to stay with them until next year or be penalized. (or i can pay the same again but enter a new 24 month contract?) I have been with them for several years now and experienced nothing but problems. The internet speed is awful and every time i do a speed-check it says they will send an engineer out due to a problem which takes several days. Seems ok again for a day or two then back to poor speeds. Can't wait to find a new supplier who can provide speeds they say, and don't lie about fixed prices . . . . . .

Just had a marketing call saying they can save me 20% off my bills. It's a classic con, they make out they are from your current supplier which they have the details of, but yet have no idea how much you are currently paying until they ask you. They talk quickly to try and confuse you, making up numbers and make you feel like your current fees 'seem very high'. If i had of just said yes verbally i would have entered into a contract with them, not knowing what my new bill will be and i would have been charged by my exisiting supplier to leave. When i tried to get clarification that they can garantee me a set fee, for two years and i wouldnt incur any fees, it then became clear it was not scottish power i was talking to as they could not guarantee this. At least they were honest about that and the call quickly ended .... Be careful and don't commit to anything until you have seen it in writing!
