We came to the pie and mash steam train ride. The food was prepackaged in cardboard trays with wooden cutlery. The food was delicious but rather difficult to eat with the wooden knife and fork. My husband had the helles lager while I stuck to fruit juice.
There was also trolley service on the train and as it was such a warm evening they came around with extra ice.
It felt like we were back in the olden days on this wonderful steam train. The carriages were restored to the highest level and the seats were comfortable.
It was a 2 hour journey and there was occasional commentary giving useful information about the train, the stops and what may be in the future.
Overall it was a delightful evening and one I would highly recommend.
A big shoutout to the lovely staff ( who changed my pie order at last minute) and to their cheery demeanour which added to the occasion.

I ordered an iPhone and they sent an iPad , which I returned immediately. They received it 7 days ago but I’ve yet to receive my refund and their customer service is horrendous. Do not buy from this company.
It’s now 6 weeks and still no refund! They are the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. This has now been referred to trading standards.
I eventually received a refund 8 weeks later, after numerous emails chasing this and reminding them constantly that this was their fault for sending the wrong product in the first place.
No offer of compensation for holding my money for 8 weeks and no apology.

Very helpful staff, although a high turn over due to the ‘rent’ they have to pay. Please reconsider this as continuity is really important for building up regular customers. Nice clean gym and great classes with a nice group of people with the same goals to stay healthy. Not a bad price either.

I arrived at the Manchester clinic to be told that I'd missed my appointment. This was soon sorted when I showed the receptionist the email I had received. I think this was a lack of communication between the call centre and the clinic.
I was advised that I was a suitable candidate for LASIK and I decided to go ahead.
A few weeks later I went for a consultation with the surgeon who advised me that my right eye was dry so he wasn't happy to book me in for surgery. He advised what type of vitamins to take and how to correctly clean my eyes and to return the next month.
When I returned I was given the all clear and booked in for my surgery a few weeks later.
The day before my surgery I was advised that the surgeon would be running late due to emergency surgery which did make me worry at the time.
I was the first patient to have the procedure which was totally painless and extremely quick - just a few seconds in each eye.
I was given a few different bottles of eye drops and clear instructions on how to use them.
The next day I returned for a check up and I was cleared to drive.
I had quite a few follow ups until I was signed off with a lifetime guarantee to have more surgery if my eyes deteriorated.
It was the best £2000 I had ever spent. The glasses went in the bin and I just need artificial tears when I first wake in the morning.
