Wish I could give no stars, awful experience and now regret not checking reviews. The top I ordered was nothing like the one advertised on line, cheap shoddy rubbish. No response from customer service except the 1st acknowledgment from ‘Cathy’. As with so many other reviewers it would cost too much to send to China so I will write this off to experience and donate the top to charity.

Great up front sales, otherwise stressful, website will not accept required meter readings, cannot get through on the phone, left number for return call which did eventually happen but was immediately back in the loop waiting for the call to be answered. I gave up trying to give the information so goodness knows what will happen next. Not very impressed as a new customer.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve written a very negative review previously, interesting that they can respond sympathetically to some reviews but cannot answer emails even after 5 weeks in my case. Had a look at Companies House, Meika had a t/o of £40m in 2018, £1.4m profit & highest paid director, think Mark Pearson, was remunerated with £190k for his efforts. Quote from the accounts “Primrose has always invested in marketing to build brand recognition & systems to provide first class customer service “
Think Mr Pearson needs to get his ducks in a row because with current 75% negative reviews he will not have a business soon.
“Happy customers are your biggest advocates and can become your most successful sales team“
All we all want is some sort of communication. We know these are tough times but other online businesses are operating efficiently and there really is no excuse for the way we are all being treated.

Very very unhappy with customer service, order included Magnolia Susan in memory of the 1st anniversary on 14 May of losing my oldest best friend Sue.Plant finally arrived 13 May but awful specimen, curled leaves, dead stems, bug infested, immediately emailed for refund w follow up messages, no response at all. Very upsetting, Now have completely dead plant in garden plus packing indoors awaiting instruction and need refund of £34.99 immediately. Interesting to see they have time to comment on trust pilot, including thanks for positive reviews, but no time at all to deal with emails. Will never use again or recommend. Understand these are difficult times but don’t offer a service if you cannot fulfil and don’t hide behind Covid. Look forward to hearing from Primrose with instructions for dead plant and box. Very frustrating.

Sound advice from Alan on sale price - which later proved to be spot on thanks to his excellent negotiation skills! He also secured my purchase, for which I will be eternally grateful. Anish and Alex always up to speed on status with sale and purchase, calls always returned quickly if they weren't immediately available. Communication was excellent from all of the team. All were extremely friendly, polite, kind and caring and ultimately professional..cannot praise them all enough for steering me through a very stressful process!
