Purplebricks you really have disrupted the market. I was sceptical as a long-in-the-tooth landlord with much online and other experience under my belt. What really makes the difference is the local agent. Hannah in Liverpool is a wonderful example of what really good customer engagement means. Great communication, highly motivated and equally ebullient with landlord and tenant. With her photographic flair, and quick, accurate apartment write-up, she managed to sign me up, run an open-house and secure offers within 3 days.
Pivotal to this success is the technology that supports all stakeholders in the letting relationship. I can see it all online, authorise the adverts, change them myself if I want to, see the diary of viewings, manage the rules for suitable tenants, approve offers, communicate directly with the tenant (great for welcome messages). I'm actually quite excited to see how the technology will assist in the legal process and day-to-day running of the tenancy. Great start.
