Really bad customer service

Really bad customer service. Takes several days to respond to messages. The order fulfillment is also bad - it may take up to 30 days to ship the item you paid for. I actually have a dispute filed with my credit card against Dack outdoors.

Review of TopResume

The things went wrong from the very…

The things went wrong from the very beginning. After waiting for several weeks for the writer to contact me, I contacted TopResume and as the result of the call I received (1) free LinkedIn service and (2) new writer was assigned to work my resume. After about another two weeks when I have not heard from the second writer, I contacted TopResume again and magically, the first draft of my resume appeared the same day. I reviewed the first draft and sent it back for revisions with my comments. Most of my comments were ignored. The resume looked about 90% copied from the resume I provided as a base. The linkedin service received (again, about a week later) simply stinks - copy/paste from new resume. The cover letter is way too generic. And what is funny - TopResume folks closed my case without me approving final versions of documents. The TopResume services stinks - I am reading all the positive reviews, but I am not sure if they are true. DO NOT got with TopResume.

New web version (2018) is awful

New web version (2018) is awful. The product manager should be fired. Wasted space, slower, with many features either missing or unable to find. How is it better than the old one? I understand the strategy of all products looking more or less the same, but goth... at least work with UX designers to review 'hover overs' and other archaic navigation facilities. Make, at least, the menu to be visible at all times - provide an option to change the size of the menu. Do not aim for the lowest common denominator - allow users customize the view (if you are to make changes to already good system). One of the real disappointments is inability to load pictures for the emails in the 'spam' folder - this precludes users from unsubscribing from many spam emails... The new version of Gmail is inferior to its predecessors. Google folks - you ruined 'Google finance' and you will ruin 'Gmail'. I will have to use IMAP or POP and start pulling data in my Outlook. What a disappointment...

Really bad service - they take your money, but do not deliver

Paid 27 days ago. The resume is ready. The cover letter is ready. Linkedin service is not. Sent many emails to the writer, called TopResume several times. The answer is - we are busy. And by the way, there is no refund if a 'writer' started working on your order. TopResume offered to change the writer, but that did not help at all. I would take my business somewhere else if I could take my money back. Be aware of this before dealing with TopResume.

Review of Allstate Protection Plans

Not very helpful

I bought a simple warranty on a toaster. The toaster broke down. I called to excersice the warranty. First time I called I was told to find a local repair shop and I would be reimbursed for the repairs. Second time I called, I was told that it was a mistake to tell me to go find a local repair shop because the insured item was less than $100. Third time I called, I was told that I would not be reimbursed until I ship the item to the SquareTrade. The problem was that I threw away the toaster after the second phone call. Eventually, I was told that there would be an exception made for me, so I would have to sign the form that is suppose to come in the email and send the form back by attaching the signed form to the reply email. I am still waiting for the form to arrive.....

I would not recommend this company - they do not publish their procedures and give you different information every time you call...
