Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs, it’s not worth the hassle. all the products I’ve got are terrible quality, sash window fitch catches that don’t work at all because they are so badly made, inaccurate descriptions of products. Unhelpful staff that don’t have a clue what they are talking about, promises of refunds that don’t happen over and over again.

Avoid, buy elsewhere

They sent out replacement key case, it was such poor quality, it did not fit the chip inside the shaft of the key was the wrong width. I had to email 6-7 times all to little or no response. Luckily I paid with PayPal and had to claim a refund via them. Big waste of time

Unsustainable with design faults

I loved the idea of these toothbrushes but totally failed in reality. I was very surprised that a b corp company that raves about sustainability would only have a one year warranty, that’s not sustainable. It does not have modular parts that could be sent out to fix broken ones and actually make it sustainable. They clearly have problems with the poor charger design ( if it had a magnet to hold charger in place then then toothbrush would not have to balance upright to charge) and the on/off button. The on/off button broke in the first 6 weeks so I returned for a refund and reluctantly returned to oral b one that generally only last 2-4 years which I don’t think is good enough but better and more sustainable than 6weeks!

Can’t be trusted

Booked a place to stay for a wedding in London months before. Host cancelled the day before while I was already away from home now I have nowhere to stay as only expensive places left. They said they would refund me in 15 days and have been claiming to help for 12 hours all while deliberately cutting contact and making suggestions of awful places hours away from where I need a place

Terrible smeg oven

I bought a smeg oven, the oven had a hole manufactured in the back of it with no cover plate so the hot air from the oven was directed at the wiring, scorching the wiring and all the components in the oven and not out of the vent this meant that the oven broke so often that it cost hundreds to repair. I contacted smeg they said there is no problem with the oven, but it has clearly been supplied in this unsafe way and has clearly shortened its life and cost loads to repair. Don’t buy smeg appliances they are terrible!

Very dishonest

Very dishonest, I ordered bifold doors from Redruth branch, they supplied broken triple glazed unit and hid it under tape, they refused to replace unit saying I can take it to small claims court if I want but they relied on me not having the time to do so. The laminated glass they specified was so badly cut that the chips on the edges of the other units have since spread across the whole units so all need replacing which is 80% of the cost of the doors.

I'm sorry to hear about the experience you've had with Camel Glass. We always aim to provide a high-quality product and services. As your review is for a door we delivered to you 2 years ago in January 2021, it has taken me a day or so to investigate the circumstances of your experience with us. However I have managed to find correspondence whereby you advised us of a small crack to one of the sealed units that became evident when you pulled back the tape the manufacturers apply to the edge of the unit. Unfortunately you didn’t advise us of this crack until March 2021, approximately 2 months after we delivered the door set and glass to you. Due to this length of time being quite long it’s impossible to determine whether the crack is due to a supplier fault and existed before you took delivery, or whether it happened afterwards during the 2 month window between delivery and you advising us of the crack.
At the time in March 2021 we did offer to go 50/50 with you on the cost of a replacement unit as a good will gesture, but you declined this offer. Regarding your comment in the review about the 2 further units that have since cracked, this is approximately 2 years after delivery and so difficult for us to accept any fault with.

Poor quality, useless customer services

I bought a set of coloured glasses, no mention of the colour being plastic coating that peels off when it’s wet! We were drinking plastic! Not safe to use. Customer services are slow and not that helpful then checked the reviews and they al mentioned the same problem yet they have not removed the items from sale!

Dangerous iPad Air battery

I got an iPad Air battery, it was terrible, nowhere near as much power I got an alternative from another company which was fine but on removing the iPhonefixuk battery I found that their battery swollen and dangerous. They are refusing to refund and want me to send it back to them even though it is swollen and dangerous and no courier will deliver it.

Discontinue products right after you buy them

Spent lots of money using their smart battery on CO and heat detectors only for them to discontinue them and any support so I can’t even use the products I have bought from them and I have to rebuy the detectors to get WiFi ones

Very poor quality items most of the measurements for the bathroom I ordered were wrong. Customer services are useless and don’t read your emails properly, and they sent out items I had asked them not to.

Don’t risk your money

Don’t risk your money, the seller ripped me off, not producing what I asked for by when they said it would be ready. Dispute process is a joke they just closed the case without giving my any information or taking any action against the seller. Avoid at all cost.

Terrible, unhelpful company that says it has a guarantee to help you with cancellations, schedule changes etc but the policy small print excludes everything imaginable! Do not use. And isn’t I strange all the 5 star reviews are all by people who have only posted 1 review! Made up profiles?

Late delivery of poor quality items

Last two orders have been delivered much later than promised, and no one followed up when I asked them to redeliver. Sash window pulleys ordered all scratched up and poor quality. Catches so badly made they did not work sash cord poor quality.

Very poor customer services

Ordered with them because of the price. It took two weeks to let me know it was out of stock, and two months and a lot of phone calls to get the item I ordered, they rarely phoned back when I asked them to chase up the order. Will never use again.
