Rother valley - not fit for purpose

Gullivers Valley Resort, Rother Valley - forced to leave at 23:00 as the Princess Suite room was covered in damp and an overpowering smell. Was told to contact them via online form & someone would get back to us to discuss a resolution, no response after two weeks. Absolute shambles of a resort our first visit in 2022 had nothing but issues with food order too. Avoid at all costs

Removed a number of troublesome trees from the property today; came out promptly to provide a quotation and was extremely professional in both the explanation of the job and carrying out the work itself. Would highly recommend Ian and his team.

Update to previous 1* review - down to 0*

Update to previous 1* review - would now give 0* if I could. Since informing them I would not be renewing vehicle insurance, I have received 2x emails and 1x letter informing me that the policy will apparently auto-renew. Can't even use the excuse of 'crossed wires' as I cancelled almost two weeks ago.

AVOID - Faulty products, return request/emails ignored.

Ordered an ultrasonic tooth cleaner intended to be a gift for Christmas - box arrived poor quality and appeared opened, so tested the item. Sure enough, would not charge and they requested a 'proof' video of the item not charging - this was provided then all further emails and return request ignored.

Had to go via the bank to obtain refund - avoid this company at all costs

Website in desperate need of a rehaul...

AGAIN placed an order, for it to time out at card payment, and the card to be charged...does not happen with any other retailler. Money is usually refunded within a few days but seriously will not be bothering in future

Fine until something goes wrong...

If another delivery service is available in your area I would strongly recommend using it over these.

Foodhub is fine until something goes wrong with the order - and their live chat are never interested in assisting with the problem like the other food companies who WILL always help and ever offer vouchers. Seeing a lot of restaurants lately marking orders as delivered but turning up with the food extremely late.

Very disappointed

Unable to book online - company in trouble???

Unable to book anything online; when we contacted them they told us we can only book over the telephone and no prics published anywhere... see other reviews; no staff, hardly any animals, most rides closed, park a mess... is this company about to go bust?? Lots of red flags here.

Attenpting to book a phone in for repair since August (s20 ultra) still no closer to this happening. Shambolic customer service, zero communication between departments, countless circle of emails & staff either have no access to or do not read past reponses - never seen anything like it.

2 months to still not have any sign of a delivery is not good enough

Ordered a dining room table in April, no sign of an invoice, order confirmation or any real sign that this item would be delivered. Chased it up at the start of June, given a 'mid June' prediction as to when we would have the table. As of 20th still no sign or a peep from Furniture Village as to if/when table will be delivered. 2 months for a table delivery in this day and age is a disgrace.

EDIT: Hi, it is 8086DZ025. I received a call today from someone who left a voicemail - was unable to answer as I was in work & just rang out when I called back.

Utter nightmare of a courier - avoid.

Two blank cards through our door on two different days, no name/date/time, no reason for not leaving in safe place/with neighbour - no signature was required. Tried to contact them via their website, no redelivery options; tried calling them, cannot get further than the automated system that cuts you off when you try to select redelivery options. Made worse again by them directing you to their facebook:
"response time within 4 hours during opening times". Of course, no reply on their facebook from my request for help with this. Utter nightmare, hours wasted just chasing up a parcel; would recommend any seller avoid this company at all costs as they are a shambles.

Requested a skip 11/04/21, received an email to say someone will be in touch. Chased this up a week later via their social media, no reply. Email sent to them asking if this skip was booked in or not, no reply. Noone turned up on the day skip requested, shocking service and a waste of time - avoid.

So unless you went through the process of booking the skip, one wouldn't have turned up on the day. booked a recover of our pool table; sales team quick to respond to emails and helpful with querying products. arrived early on the day, extremely efficient and professional job and got a slot booked in within a week. was glad to find this company as most of the local companies seem to have stopped trading. a+ service

So sorry we let you down, be assured it's not in our interest. We invest heavily in promoting our free campaigns and want everyone to be happy, it's the only way we survive long term. Where lots of new cleans are on a round it's hard to estimate the time taken (whereas once a profile of cleans is on the system our planning software takes this into account). Unfortunately this sometimes means we miss some of the later jobs planned in the day. Please accept our apologies.
