Communication is sub-optimal. The website doesn’t automatically offer an English version. We agreed to come to the office. Nobody competent was there to meet to explain the ins and outs of. Finally I received a link to the English version of the site. I adopted 5 trees. I asked where they would be. I received a QR code. This QR code doesn’t lead to the location. I submitted a question to the helpdesk. I received ticket no 17, but never a reply to my question.

Hi Theo,
We were happy to resolve the issue directly with you via email. As indicated in our communication, the site is available in two languages: Italian and English.
The Italian version can be selected at the top right if you are browsing from a desktop, or in the menu or footer of the page if you are accessing from mobile devices.
Our offices are separate from the headquarters of the mill that hosts us and where we welcome adopters for visits and we only receive by appointment agreed via email to ensure an efficient service, without waiting; nevertheless, the adoption procedure is conveniently done online on www.olivami.com and in case of need for support during the adoption, we have the live chat and the telephone service available from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 15:00 to 18:00 on weekdays.
We handle all requests that arrive outside our business hours within the following 24/48 working hours.
We know that you have reached the reference mill, indicated on our website, where you have met one of the employees of the partner agricultural company that hosts us, who however does not manage our association.
At that moment he kindly made himself available to provide you with directions to our office.
Finally, regarding the location, since you only adopted yesterday, your olive tree does not yet have an identification tag.
The tags are sent to print every 1,000 adoptions, so as to optimize resources and allocate as much as possible to the Salento farmers affected by Xylella.
We really want to make every adopter feel an active part of this project and we remain at your complete disposal for any further needs.
