Promises Not Delivered - Then Charges You

I signed up for a 3 year contract that included a $3000 onboarding fee and $785 per month. A KEY element I advised that I needed was for call recordings from Ring Central to be automatically connected to a clients record. This can be done in most systems. They stated they have a team that would be able to configure once we were set up.

After signing the agreement and paying over $4000, I was informed this is not possible. This creates a HUGE compliance issue for the agency.

The current solution was to offer me 20% off the remaining 3 years. As a small business. Paying an extra $600 per month for three years on a service isn't doable.

Make sure you keep recordings of everything they promise during their selling stage.

Highly do not recommend.

Another 1 Star Review

Another 1 Star Review. Avoid doing business with these people. They auto-renew contracts and require a 60 day notice. If you contact them at day 59, 58, 57 you are out of luck they will auto renew. Their staff is trained to argue not serve. Why do business with a company like Zywave. Terrible mindset rotten to the core.

We have used Zywave since 2014

We have used Zywave since 2014. Since then we have had new salespeople attempt to jack up our price or cancel until we redirected him to their Agreement.
Fast forward January 2025 where we were billed for an additional user, again in the next two quarters. No word, no notice and multiple false stories as to why.
We met online and ultimately found agreement that were over billed by nearly $4k. The rep said he would request a credit. Then a week later said it was submitted. After following up 10 days later the response offered a lessor credit toward future subscription and an offer to renew early.
Pretty slick and if we had not experienced their slick and seemingly dishonest attempts to grab more of our money we would still be thinking the best and waiting for resolution.
We have requested termination for their material breach. We'll see how it works out.

I'm very disappointed with the service they provided because they didn't provide what I paid for. My subscription included email campaigns, but it took them 6 months to get this feature to work. When I brought this to bill and my account agent's attention, they offered to credit me 2 months. They initially said there was a problem with my email address and Microsoft would have to reconfigure something. I spent weeks going back and forward with Microsoft and the problem was with Zywave. Not only did I loose over $660.00 I also lost funds linked to the campaigns I could not run. I'm in the hole for over $1,500.00 in addition to what I've waisted with Zywave.

I agree with all the 1 star reviews

I agree with all the 1 star reviews. Software company cliche to the max.
-Little to no training. Zero follow up up to requests for such
-Phony sales people that use high pressure tactics
-Tech support is atrocious and slow
-Nobody there cares if they screw up your business by making changes to websites
-Good luck canceling
I am not saying that other companies are A+ but I would recommend nobody using this software for their insurance agency.

Zywave - Our way or NO way!

Great system to operate, yes, easy to operate yes, but unfortunately that is where is stops! Company personnel very matter of fact, robotic in their responses when they do respond. Careful listening, and takes all of your thoughts in, but then does nothing at all. They do not admit error, even when you have it in black & white, and blames their customer, (yes, the people they pay their salaries) for all their shortcomings relative to how to operate the company. They have a failed billing systems (again in black and white) but still blame the customer. They refuse to hear and do, they only hear, and then it is their way or the highway kind of attitude comes clear when you do finally get them on the phone. If you want a management system they are a contender (at least for now, who knows what the future looks like) but if you want someone who cares, NOT THEM, if you want someone who cares for their customers, NOT THEM, if you want understanding & reason in discussions, NOT THEM, you want gratefulness, NOT THEM, if you want to see attitude, ALL THEM, if you want arrogance, ALL THEM, They think and/or believe they are the only game in town, oh they will get a wake up call soon from the market!!

Choose anyone here except Zywave for your management needs.

This organization is the worst type of software company. They offer no support, never a check in or survey yet when you want to cancel they become hard collectors. We gave notice that we did not want to renew prior to the first of the year (mind you, there was no proration for 2022) and they insist 90 days notice of cancellation is "industry standard" The bully tactics began until it went to collections. Oh well, awful business tactics and bad reviews will hurt their business much more than a small collection credit hit. Advise: steer clear.

Zywave ruined ITC

Our insurance office has used the comparative rater ITC for many years. Last year ITC was purchased by Zywave. We renewed our contract and also had them revamp our website. The problems started off with about a months delay in getting our website off the ground. Then no one returns calls or emails for corrections we need made. The website is clucky and the WebRater is inaccurate. Our ITC WebRater goes offline and starts lagging when our office is extremely busy. To top it all off we just found out today that even though we signed a contract with monthly autopay our account was hit for $3000 with no notification. I messaged Zywave and 3 days later I got a reply with invoice saying they have failed to bill us on the monthly plan we signed up for and took a years work of payment at once. I am currently looking over my bank statements to verify that this is correct. Please do not make the same mistake I did and trust Zywave. I'm stuck in a contract until 2024 then I'm done.
