i purchased 2 dresses that did not fit so i requested a refund. i received multiple emails from "Vivian" making me offers to refund me up to 40% if I would just keep the dresses. Between the 2 garments it was almost $200 - i wanted my money back, as the dresses did not fit.

After 2 weeks of emails, "Vivian" finally gave me the return address, which was in China - I spent $32 on postage/tracking. The package made it to China in about 2 months - and sat there in customs for 3 months. i just received the dresses back at my house on 2/25/26 with a sticker stating the item was "unclaimed".

I attempted to send another email to customer service to "Vivian" and lo and behold - the email address is no longer valid.

Straight in the bin. Absolute rubbish. Did not even bother to ask my teenage daughters if they’d wear it, the quality was so bad I knew they’d just laugh that I was silly enough to order!

Company is truly a scam. Bought a dress for $85. When I received dress was much smaller than the size I ordered. Dress had no labels or tags. I reached out to Zoë and Clo. They said I would need to ship to China gave me an address even thought the mistake was on their end. Extremely mad I trusted the website. I will be putting a complaint on better business bureau. It’s not right they can scam so many people and get away with it.

Total scam. Dress wasn’t even close to what was advertised. Material was not the same, the back was completely different as well as the front. This is garbage clothing at expensive prices. They refund you next to nothing and returns are super inconvenient because it gets sent back to China. Don’t buy anything!

zoeandclo.com is a complete scam website, with fake reviews and items, selling them at mid-tier price, and looking to be UK-based (all of which give false legitimacy).

I ordered a £73 dress from them which took over a month to arrive and when it did was absolutely nothing like the photos. It was clearly made very cheaply and was poor quality, not at all what their website or price point suggests.

If you do try to return the item you're left having to pay for the shipping back to China. Their customer services also told me that "due to recent customs regulations in China, return shipments are taking much longer to arrive and clear. Based on recent cases, it can take 3–6 weeks, and unfortunately, a few parcels have even been lost in transit. To avoid that risk, we recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method so you’re covered in case the courier misplaces the package during international transit." This of course drives up the cost even further and leads me to believe the item would never make it back anyway!

After some lengthy back and forth on email I settled for a 50% refund to just be done with the whole process. I've also reported them to Instagram as I'm disappointed they are still promoting their adverts so heavily despite it being a scam.

Terrible ! Do not order from them ! Paid to return my unsatisfactory item plus the cost of the dress ... four weeks later tracking states stuck in customs in China ... they do not care !!

This website is a pure scam. Look at the legal notice; it’s not compliant with US regulations nor does it offer the corporate name of the actual company. Searching reveals no corporate name with locations in NY, LA, and clearly China. Might be worth reporting to both the Better Business Bureau and your state Consuner Protection office. Based on reviews here and opening the first of five packages to discover an insanely poorly manufactured dress (clearly not made from sustainable materials) I called and filed a dispute with my credit card company. Don’t waste your time dealing with this company’s customer service - it’s not worth the hassle. False advertising, deceptive return policies, refusal to provide a return address (but do state you shouldn’t return it to the return address on the package). Utter scam, buyer beware.

I do not recommend Zoeand Clo online woman’s clothing company. The dress I received was inferior compared to the pic & description on their website. The fabric was cheap, I’ll fitting-very loose, shapeless ( I ordered a small) You must pay for returns to their warehouse in China. No warehouse in USA. I sent it back a month ago -I’ve been Scammed.

I strongly recommend to steer clear of this brand, which is highly misleading consumers on all fronts.

I ordered two dresses; one of which looked nothing like the image advertised- a completely different pattern and colour in fact.

On their website, they advertise breathable, high quality fabrics that "move with you" Both dresses I received were very low quality, synthetic materials. The dresses don't even don the Zoe&clo branding.

In addition, I hadn't realised I was buying from over seas. The website again misleads a hassle free returns policy however, I was told I'd have to ship back at my own expense. I had to settle for a 40% refund of my order without returning.

Very poor. Don't waste your money.

Buyer beware … if you think you’re going to return something, think again. You’ll have to ship your return to China at your expense.
I ordered 2 dress sizes and am now stuck with them because I’m not paying return shipping to China. The dresses smell like cigarette smoke and the material is extremely heavy.
I should have done my research on the company before ordering. Shame on me!

I ordered two dresses from ZoeandClo.com, both priced well over £100 and advertised as high-quality items. What arrived was nothing like the images online – the material was very poor quality, the fit was strange (meant to be maxi dresses but both were short and wide), and overall the products looked cheap.

The website features what appear to be customer images and glowing reviews, but after reverse image searching, it seems many of these photos have been taken from personal accounts and misused, with different names attached to the reviews. This makes the site appear legitimate when in reality it’s misleading.

Although the website looks UK-based, I only realised after receiving the tracking link that the items were being shipped from China. Their promise of “hassle-free returns” is also misleading – customers must pay for returns themselves, including customs fees, and the process requires emailing customer service to arrange it.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience. I strongly do not recommend shopping with ZoeandClo.com.

I’d give Zoe and Clo a zero star rating if I could. The quality of the item is nothing like it appears on the website. The fabric is very thin and cheap. They make it seem like it’s an American company but shipping is from China so it took over a month to arrive. And despite the fact that they make it seem like returns are easy on their website, they are not. The customer is responsible for paying to ship to the warehouse in China. I was offered a refund of 20% of the purchase price which I accepted solely because I didn’t want to deal with this company anymore. I also tried to leave a review on the site and was not able to. I think the positive reviews on their website are all fake and written by the company.

The absolute worst quality clothing you could ever buy and the customer is fully responsible for return shipping costs. That’s almost £50 down the drain for me. Hard lesson learnt. Avoid like the plague!

I ordered a dress from Zoe & Clo which looked elegant and well-made on the website. What I received was a completely different product — cheap fabric, poor cut, and overall nothing like the advertised photos.

The site gives the impression of being UK-based, but the return address is in China — something they only disclose after delivery. Initially, they offered me a 20% refund to avoid a return, but I insisted on a full refund due to the clear misrepresentation.

Eventually, they agreed — but only after I pushed firmly and mentioned escalation to my payment provider.

⚠️ Be cautious:
– The product may not match the photos.
– Return costs are hidden.
– Partial refunds are pushed as a first option.

Only persistence got my money back.

I’m not sure if this website is a scam or not. Seems like a scam. I just got an email letting me know my order will be late… I’m thinking that’s the email they send to individuals they’ve scammed to buy more time. I’ll come back and post again if I was right or wrong.

8/14/2025 - Ok I’m back, I did get the dress and it’s ok, looks better online. Changed review from 1 star to 4 stars . This website is real and is not a scam, however I would like to emphasis what you get is way different than the picture online
