Horrible company with no product support
Horrible company. The hardware is not that bad but the software is horrendous and make the hardware unusable. Half of the functionality present when I purchased the system no longer works due to firmware updates conducted without user permission.
Zmodo customer service is absolutely horrendous when you can get a response. Stay far far away from Zmodo or any of it's sister companies if you want to have a working product and flexibility.

Junk products!
I could not install these 3 pivots at all. My tech smart son was defeated too. We spent 2 hours on customer support chat on line and was not able to get anywhere. The youtube depiction of this function was easy. We were defeated. We can't even send them back for a refund. Do yourself a favor. Do not buy these products. Spend a little more and buy something that will actually work.
Cloud doesn't come close to working.
No problems with the camera itself. Live feed is ok unless you hit the talk button then it crashes, something I can live with but not ideal. What really sucks is the cloud service I pay for will not play back but one second for every 10 seconds. Very annoying and un useful if really needed for what it is intended for. Trying to contact support is useless cant click any link.

I have four cameras on the house they work just fine I purchased a doorbell cam which will not connect to the internet no matter what I do call technical support pretty much useless at this point they give you the same answers every time their Wi-Fi software is crap I don't recommend this product an electrical contractor and do lots of connected Wi-Fi systems this is far the worst I've had to deal with

Zmodo customer service. After 1 week my system security went out. Chat with customers service ,been on stand buy 3 time with 3 representatives. I decide to call the help desk. Who turn in silence. Got bad experience I need to crap out all I buy from them

I got these cameras for added security and they haven't helped. The playback takes an hour to load if it loads at all, most of the time I give up. When it does play back it shows one second clips for every ten seconds, it doesn't constantly record it takes frame shots. A lot can happen in 9 seconds.
Bought this system cameras never work …
Bought this system cameras never work goes off all night, never shows anything and when I hit playback that I pay for with cloud, shows connecting to secure camera for an hour. Sending system back and will never reorder. What a piece of junk! Worst system. Pay the extra and go with a real security system!
Not recommending to buy
Bought four cameras sPoE system (from AU - homesecuritysolution ebay seller). Received faulty useless camera brackets. Breaks even little tightening and unable to mount. After six emails for support, replied asking pay for replacements but advertised with 3 years warranty. Finally, making a bad review they resent the faulty parts. The model I bought (ZP-KE1T04-S) was advertised as receive motion alerts with 5 frame images and playback on smartphone. But none of working except live view. Zmodo customer service technician confirmed that this model does not have these functionalities. Also, they confirmed that they don't support email alerts even NVR application has email configuration. Only local HDD recording and playback (monitor).

Problems exist with playback for sure
Problems exist with playback for sure. Unusable when the goal for a camera pointed at a car in the parking lot is to see who enters the vehicle. At playback, displayed seconds tick off normally but the displayed movement of people walking past is missing 95% of the frames, thus very herky jerky unusable with Sight 180 Indoor model mounted inside the window. Wyze brand cameras are much better.

This is a sorry camera!!! I urge all do not buy. Have only had mine 3 weeks and it will work maybe a day and then all of a sudden for no reason it will say device offline. Sorry I ever bought it. They need to take it off the market! Reading all these bad reviews about this product, there needs to be a class action suit done!!!
Terrible Products
Terrible products. Terrible customer service. Bought 2 Cameras. One never worked at all and had to be returned the other stopped working. Software crashed all the time as well. Was promised a replacement but then they recanted. DO NOT BUY!!!!
Absolute garbage
Absolute garbage. Within one year the PVR wouldn’t record footage despite me replacing the hard drive. By three years, the system won’t even display the channel images. Was never able to view remotely. Customer support is non existent. DO NOT BUY.
Broken product , dodged replacement
Broken product within a couple of weeks, refused to support the product and did their best not to replace the cheap piece of junk. Not worth the hassle, buy from a western company who stand by their product.
Horrible customer support...
Horrible customer support to say the least... First of all it took me close to 30 minutes before I could talk to a so called "customer support engineer" and on top of that it took him/her another 10 minutes to reply to every message I sent. A simple process of diagnosing a defective camera took this individual no less than an hour to point me to the RMA page. When I followed up with the second question I had regarding an intermittent issue with my NVR he/she disconnected. Very disappointed with this company. Definitely nevery buying any product of theirs again.

Worst piece of junk I've ever bought got the doorbell with the beam the beam didn't work send it back they sent me another one worked for a week it went out try to contact them you're on hold for at least an hour to an hour and a half terrible terrible terrible customer service then if you don't buy their cloud service they put a notification on your screen so every time you look to see who's at your door you see that you don't have cloud service and they won't take it off

I am patient and fairly handy at reading and understanding instructions. I have replaced batteries in iphones, added hardware to computers, replaced a water pump in a BMW and the spark plugs on a Prius. (Spark plugs are easy you say - try changing them on a Prius!). All this by either reading the instructions or with the help of Youtube.
Zmodo however has beaten me. I tried for six hours to hookup a wifi range extender and a smart doorbell. I even went to Zmodo chat and was disconnected twice by Zmodo. The third, fourth and fifth time I tried no one answered. I'm returning the equipment I attempted to install. I have honestly never had to do a return due to my inability to perform the setup. A sad day.

Purchased the cloud for continuous recording on three devices. Only one device had access to the cloud. Contacted customer service with delayed waiting time and no explanation. I finally cancelled the subscriptions and asked to be reimbursed. The emails from customer support stopped once I asked to be reimbursed for a purchase that does not work. BEWARE !!! They take your money then ignore your emails!!

The app an customer service is crap. I am up online for a week and I can view live feeds but not events. I tried customer service but they could not bring up my device by the online settings, the app wont let me copy and the customer service was very UN-helpful. So after 200 dolars in sales I am left with a brick and customer support is not at all helpful. Everyone please stay away from this device. If you have a problem customer service will blame it on you. My credentials, I am one year from my Doctorate in IT and I have 20 years in IT. Some of which is desk-side support. I know what good support is and these guys don't have it.
