I had an excellent experience with my writer. It's not as expensive as others, but I am very happy with my results.

Can not be worse. It seems like they can never reply to your mail and it even worse for some one working abroad and can not call them directly. I have purchased a premium package and want to update my resume, there is no one reply to my email, and when you contacted with there live chat customer service，they will tell you that they can not deal with the post purchase issues.

My Writer Sal was awesome !!!! He really listen to what I thought was important and also made suggestions to improve my resume. It’s been 3 weeks since I received my documents and I have a job offer .

I don't normally write reviews but this experience has been the worst I've had with any company I've ever dealt with. So I paid for there premium package which was $299 and on top of that I paid an additional $100 for extra services for a total of $399. I picked that package for there 3 day turn around time, the promise it would go to on of their top writers, and guarantee. That was a huge mistake. I called them after 5 business days because I hadn't heard anything from them. After talking to them they told me that my resume had just been assigned to a writer and to continue to wait (two days after I should have received it) and that they would offer me $29 back for the inconvenience. After going back and forth with them they finally agreed to comp me one of the additional services I had paid for. Fast forward another couple days without hearing anything from them I called again and was told that it was still not assigned to a writer and that they would escalate my situation but to continue to wait. Finally after 12 days of me calling them and hearing the same thing over and over I asked for a full refund and for them to please get my resume done because at this point there delay already cost me the job I was looking to get. The response I got was the manager could submit for a full refund but did not think it would get approved. The next day, Day 13, I called them back to get an update. The response once again was my resume had not been assigned to a writer and that my refund had just been submitted to their internal team for review. They said they would have a supervisor call me back and I never received a call back. No surprise there though. All that brings us to today, day 14. I called them this morning and my resume has STILL not been assigned to a writer and my refund request is still waiting to be reviewed. I've paid $399 for their best top of the line package and more but what have I received after 14 days? Absolutely nothing, no resume, no refund, not even any progress in my resume getting started. I spend the time to write this review so that maybe I can spare someone else from having to go through all this and waste their time and money. There are several other resume services to use, that's what I would suggest doing. You can't get any worse service than zipjob.

Horrible!! Stay away, you pay for formatting!!! Did not get a single interview and when I contacted the support - no response!!!! It has been few weeks!!! Just unbelievable.

Run as fast away as you can from this service. They say my writer was based in the US but I am still not convinced. I have no idea where the writer came up with some of the words she used and how she didn’t understand what basic roles were. I made it very clear I managed a team but you would have had no clue based on her description that was even the case. She did not utilize any of the info I sent her. She highlighted achievements that were not even the major highlights of my career. I honestly could have cried. I stopped the process as it would have taken a complete rewrite and email is not a good form a communication for this process.

Best investment in my career. I was paired with a writer that was familiar with my industry. Listened to my work history concerns, and re-wrote my Resume/Cover Letter & Linkedin profile so incredibly well that each time I read it, I feel more confident. My writer did not fabricate, but she did choose the most impressive words to market me to the best of my potential. REALLY WELL WRITEN. This opened many new doors for me.

Overall, not a bad website. Its helps and there professionalism is impeccable.

I did not once feel supported throughout this entire process. The writer who I was paired with did not show any effort in communicating or working with me. He didn't even bother getting my name right after I reminded him multiple times. I purchased the premium package which to my understanding includes ongoing support, but right after he sent me some robotic sounding, generic LinkedIn profile info, he sent me an email letting me know that basically his work is done and ended it just like that. I did not feel comfortable asking questions due to how condescending and cold his tone was in his responses from the beginning. This was extremely disappointing because my hopes in choosing this service were to work with someone who could help me to improve my resume, cover letter, and Linkedin profile. I would not recommend any ZipJob services to friends or colleagues unless they wanted to be treated with complete disregard.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I submitted my existing resume as a reference, along with commentary on how I would like to be presented. What I received back was beyond pitiful. Most of the sentences were run-on and incoherent. Many of my accolades were under the wrong employer/role. After I asked for a refund, I was told that the process was iterative and eventually they would get it right. I've actually disputed the charge with my credit company given this company's refusal to provide a refund. They are a grab and dash fraud and you're better off asking a stranger on the street to provide you feedback on your existing resume.

The 4-7 days turn around is not correct. You have to submit a questioner and then wait from then. Its also business days, the writers do not work on weekends. IF you need it rushed its an extra $50 and 2 full business days.... I wont be getting my resume in the expected time I had allotted, it will take almost 3 weeks to get my $200 package completed.

Resume & LinkedIn Profile Services. Andrea V. was of great assistance and I am very pleased with my new resume and LinkedIn profile. She was very professional, responsive, and produced great results.

They took a resume I sent them, put it into a new template, ignored my LinkedIn and then asked for more career history.

To say I am unimpressed would be an understatement as the resume they gave me back would not qualify for any of the roles I plan to apply for.

Extremely disappointed

I paid for the premium service and expected a top resume writer... that is not what I got. From blatant misspellings to just purely fiction information. The writer took the job title from a job posting I shared and made that my job title.

But this is the best part of my story. After a few re-writes I took the supplied resume and submitted it for zipjobs free ATS and resume review. The review was spot on and hammered the resume supplied by a zipjob writer.

Let me write that again, a resume from a zipjob resume writer got hammered in their free resume and ATS review. Outdated styling, lack of significant keywords, didn't use engaging language and did not fair well at all on the ATS scan, which was my primary reason for purchasing this premium service.

The resume writer still has sent me a usable resume in over a week and their support email group is horrendous. It's like they don't read the responses and send a script. It's been a few days and I'm still waiting on a responses to the issues they asked me about... which is everything on the resume review and the fiction job titles I've not held.

The 60 day guarantee is useless if they expect someone to wait 60 days while searching for a job. 2 MONTHS before they will re-write a garbage resume.

Oh, and be ready for the flood of up-sell emails, if only they put that much effort into writing resumes.
