Always an excellent service

Always an excellent service, nothing is too much trouble. You know exactly when the pickup and delivery will take place with a text telling you, to the minute, when the driver will arrive. Saeed my delivery driver is always super polite and friendly. What more could you ask for! Highly recommended.

Do you value your sanity

Do you value your sanity? If so, give them a wide berth.
Other than paying for Google Ads (and possibly some of the 5 star reviews), this business doesn't seem to do anything else.

I placed a simple order for washed and folded laundry, express (24 hr turnaround) service. Zipjet doesn't send you a receipt till after the items are collected. c.8 hours after my clothes were collected, Zipjet billed me for DRY CLEANING. They had decided to dry clean even my underwear.
Frantic, I called and emailed them but could only get through 8am the next day.

"Mihai", on the behalf of Zipjet, disowned all responsibility for this royal screw up by saying that Zipjet's app doesn't inform Zipjet's systems about customers' orders (what on earth? did they not pay the app developers enough?). Apparently, the couriers have to find out (mine didn't), or the cleaning facility plays guesswork.

Mihai said that the facility would only open at 9am and he could contact them "ASAP". 9:45am rolled around and I had to call Zipjet to chase them. this time, Mihai explained that he had "messaged" them but had no answer. "Messaging" is Mihai's idea of an appropriate response in an emergency where Zipjet has screwed up an order in the most incredible sense of the word.

10:50am: a breakthrough, I spoke to "Sam" - who said that Mihai got it wrong, the facility opens at 12pm. He promised to call the facility and call me back.

2:30pm: still no calls. I call Zipjet and... they are closed! At 12pm. Did Sam not tell me that he would get back to me after 12pm? How convenient!

In addition, my original order was supposed to have been delivered at 9:30-10am that morning. So clearly, whether or not the facility processed my clothes in the right method, they had no intention of keeping to the promised delivery time!

Throughout this entire time, I have informed Mihai and Sam that I am on a WORK TRIP. I have no clothes left for work tomorrow. They "completely understand" but can't guarantee that I'll even get them the same day (or ever?)
Since they clearly had no intention of returning my clothes on time or even on the same day as promised, one would think that Zipjet ought to pay for new clothes for at least until they return them.
Apparently they don't think so!

At time of writing, the case of the disappearing clothes is still ongoing. I have not received a single update from Zipjet. I'm not sure if this is a scam business for used clothes resale or fetish, or something that occasionally does do real cleaning business.

Beware and stay far, far away

We are so sorry for the delay in returning your item. We want to let you know that it is not our intention to aggravate you and that there is a valid reason for the delay.

Normally, our driver will be the one to take note of your order during the cleaning process, but our record shows that you left your order at the reception, this was not done so. We do not want to disappoint you so we collected the order anyways. We have then sent you an email informing you of the cost of cleaning, to make sure that you are informed. As you sent your email on Saturday evening, no one was on hand to answer your query as we were already closed.

We have promptly answered your query the next day and we have immediately notified our facility team about the issue. We want to clarify that as it is a Sunday, our facility cleaning staff would normally start at 12:00, and as soon as they got in, We have asked them to immediately reprocess the items, as per your request.

We also want to let you know that we have done everything in our power to have your items reprocessed and have them returned to you within the day (which is what we did). All we have asked for is more time to reprocess your items.


We also want to clarify that we were not withholding your belongings, as we do run a reputable business. You gave the items back to the driver and you have asked us to redo everything, and that is what we did.

Great service!
I have been using Zipjet for a few months and the service is great. Always on time and good cleaning standards. I like the text messages telling me when they are 10 mins away.

My collection/delivery is made by Mukhtar and he is always brilliant.

Been pleased with zipjet.

A special thanks goes to Saeed who is the guy usually picking up and delivering the laundry. Happy, allways on time and clearly has an interest in his work and taking care of the customer.

Great service

Great service. Most of the time the cleaning goes without any issues (although one time I had some stains that appeared and Zipjet was not able to pinpoint where they were created). Overall I would recommend the service.

I also want to highlight the great service from the driver that I always have: Zul. He is super polite and makes the pick up and deliveries on time and with a smile.

Great service

Great service, love it. Will continue using the service. My driver (Mukhtar) is very friendly and courteous. Only suggestion is that you should be allowed to hand over your next bag of washing without having to re-book through the app - usually involves an extra 5 mins of mucking around. But minor annoyance only.

Great, efficient, reliable service

My company have been using zipjet for our washroom towels etc for approximately 6 months now and all has been excellent. In July they even took on a huge challenge and cleaned a protected cover for an antique yacht.

As they've proven themselves to be reliable and trustworthy a number of staff have used them on a personal level for suits etc.

Their booking system is extremely easy, they send updates and receipts both by text message and email so you always know where your order is.

We are also lucky to have a fantastic driver called ZUL, who is helpful and always happy.

Will continue to use and highly recommend.

Excellent service by out driver Zul!

Excellent service! I need to especially highlight the gentlemen who picks up and delivers our laundry every week. Zul is absolutely fantastic and to be fair, he is one of the key reasons why we use zipjet on such a regular basis. He is mindful of our two little children and sends me a text message or calls before ringing the door bell every time he arrives as he does not want to wake the kids. He is the friendliest person I have ever met in context of such a service company. Strongly recommend zipjet - especially if you can secure Zul as driver!

I use this service at least once a week…

I use this service at least once a week (mainly for bedding and shirt dry cleaning).

The best part of the service is the customer service. I honestly don't think I would use the service if it wasn't for the driver, Zul. Zul goes above and beyond to provide a first-class service to our family. He makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable.

Would not recommend using this company

Paid much more than I usually would for a dress to be dry cleaned and it was filthy still. So had to run out and buy a new dress on the morning of a wedding. Customer service said they will reclean (seemed like they were doing me a favour with this and potentially might charge me - wont release my card so can't be sure). Will not refund the cost of the clean which is awful given I had to pay for a new dress.

Stay clear, customer service policies are terrible

I’ve used Zipjet for many years, right from when they began as a start up. Recently, I have had several T-shirt’s missing. I understand this happens on occasion. It’s a shame, because they were my child’s shirts he bought when on holiday. However, it is the customer service that I am most disappointed with. After reporting the issue, I was told it was highly unlikely such things would happen. I made a complaint, and was told (paraphrased) we’re sorry but we’re not liable. No mention of reimbursement, no money refunded or off the next order, no phone call to rectify...only an email to say they’ll keep an eye out in case they appear. This company needs to change its policies. As a customer for many years, I would have expected at least one of these, if not all!
No customer loyalty program either- so I’m off to a different company. Let me know when you change your customer service policies to put the customer at the heart of the business. Until then, I cannot recommend you. Stay clear.

With the Folded Laundry service, items are not checked beforehand, so we cannot be liable for any losses or damages (unless the whole bag is effected). We understand this is disappointing, but we hope you can also understand from our perspective. The limitation of liability is also stated in our Terms.

You mention that no voucher was given, but after updating you on the status of our search, we did indeed offer you a voucher worth £15.00 for next time on 22nd July.

Furthermore, we have also refunded the total cost of the order as a gesture of our apology, as we do value you as a customer and are sorry for any disappointment.

We hope you might consider allowing us another chance to impress you in the future and we are truly sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience we may have caused.
