Apart from the collection drop off desk…
Apart from the collection drop off desk being at the far side of the car park(my wife is disabled)
The collection and drop off went very smoothly.
For a mid size car we both thought was a lot smaller than expected.
We are back again in September and have already booked 2 cars.

Great service and pricing from Zest car rental
I’ve used Zest car rental several times now and have always found the booking process straightforward and hassle-free. Their website is easy to use, with clear pricing and comprehensive insurance with CDW included on my vehicle choice, which gives peace of mind and makes it easy to compare options.
For my recent trip to Miami, everything went exactly as expected. Collecting the vehicle was simple, after showing my hire car voucher paperwork at the Thrifty counter, we only waited around 5–10 minutes for the car to be brought to the collection area. Although it wasn’t the exact model we’d originally booked, we received an upgraded Jeep instead, which was an excellent surprise. We specifically needed a spacious five-seater with a large boot, and the upgrade suited our requirements perfectly.
The entire rental process, from booking through Zest to collecting and returning the vehicle with Thrifty, was smooth, efficient and stress-free. The return process was just as straightforward, with no issues whatsoever.
Based on this experience, I would have no hesitation in using Zest again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for competitive prices, comprehensive insurance and an easy, reliable car hire experience

Having discovered Zest quite a few years ago, I have yet to find a better car hire agency, nothing compares. Just had another great experience hiring a car in Zakynthos via Zest and had the usual positive experience. Satisfactory with irritation.
Generally straightforward experience, the only downside being outside your control, namely the collection point for all car rentals at Catania is a very long walk from the airport.
One novelty to hiring from Record-Go is their requirement to lodge payment in advance for a full tank of petrol; an irritating and unnecessary condition.

I have yet to actually manage to rent…
I have yet to actually manage to rent with Zest, and I was really optimistic… but now less so. I was trying to save a bit of money and book a car with out-of-hours pickup and drop-off at a different location, which I understand is a complex ask. They offered me a very reasonable price, and I emailed them to explicitly confirm that this request will be possible, because the provider (Budget) doesn’t offer that pickup time on their website. They responded to say it’s fine, so I booked the car, bought an IDP, and booked my flights. They then told me the booking is NOT confirmed, so I emailed (still no response) and got in touch via chat (I am abroad and cannot call), and the representative told me the car I selected isn’t available but the next size up is, at a slightly higher price. Great! Except the new booking was also NOT confirmed. I tried to get in touch via chat again, but was kicked out of the chatting software 15 minutes before the online support closing time. Now, there are no Budget cars available on their website and the next cheapest car is 2x the price of my original selection! Anyway, what I mean to say is… don’t book your flights before you have a booking confirmation from Zest (email confirmation that a booking is possible is clearly not reliable!!), you may end up losing a lot lot lot of money.
