Refusing refund for undelivered item
Refusing refund for undelivered item – poor customer responsibility
I had a very disappointing experience with Zentro.
I placed an order on 5 January 2025 (€50), but the item was never delivered to me. The courier marked it as delivered at 22:00, yet no delivery attempt was made — no doorbell was rung and I was at home at the time.
The only “proof” provided is a photo of the parcel outside my address. This does not prove that I actually received the item.
Despite this, Zentro refuses to issue a refund. Instead, they repeatedly asked me to obtain a “certificate of loss” from the courier. I contacted the courier multiple times, but they رفض to provide such a document and clearly stated that the sender (Zentro) must resolve the issue.
This has left me stuck between the seller and the courier, with neither taking responsibility.
As a customer, my contract is with Zentro — not the courier. It is the seller’s responsibility to ensure the goods are delivered to the customer. Passing that responsibility onto me is unacceptable.
Very poor customer service and lack of accountability. I would not recommend ordering from this company.
