I am a retired professional who lost…
I am a retired professional who lost $400,000 to a person I thought was my future. They sent me their ID and spent hours on the phone with me, building a facade of trust. They convinced me to invest in their "exclusive" crypto website. When I tried to withdraw my money, the site demanded a "capital gains tax" that had to be paid from outside my account. My "partner" pushed me to get a loan to pay it, saying it was just a formality. I sent the loan money, and the person blocked me instantly. My life savings are gone. I am now choosing between buying groceries and paying the power bill. My mortgage is a monster I can't feed, and the trauma is compounded by the fact that law enforcement considers this a "civil" issue. It is a criminal robbery of an ordinary citizen's lifetime of hard work. Do not trust their polished scripts or their fake passports. I was in a state of absolute despair, lashing out at everyone.
It is a mess. Then by some stroke of luck, I found = a'yRLP =. They are the only ones who can actually navigate this disaster. = a'yRLP = got the money back! They managed to retrieve every single penny when the authorities did nothing. I'm simply appalled that such scams are allowed to exist. It is ghastly.
