Booked a Hotel in Singapore, Novotel , paid for it in full. Next day they tell it’s not confirmed by hotel , and I came to know only when I contacted for Check in inquiry . Though offer me two another places but both were below standard what I paid for .
Don’t trust. Scammers

too long wait for give you answer in a emergency and in the final no give a solution

I have my hotel reservation con ZenHotels and I call right await for they organize in the system a mistake in the date for my stay in the hotel, but they sent me a 10 emails telling me the supplier don't answer yet and they can't do anything for time zone difference, for no answer, etc and many excuses are no a good thing with a customer emergency,, so in the final exactly one week after ZenHotels sent me a email saying they can't do anything and I just lost the money...
First and last time i work with ZenHotels...

We endeavored to fulfill this request, but we were met with negative responses from both the supplier and the hotel. Subsequently, you requested our assistance in obtaining a refund.
Following extensive negotiations, both the supplier and the hotel were unable to reach an agreement on a penalty-free cancellation. This is the final decision, despite our repeated attempts to obtain a more favorable outcome. Please note that the conditions are set by the supplier and hotel, and the original booking was non-refundable.

An hotel in a fantastic environment

The environment was fantastic, the room spacious and clean, the staff friendly and professional. The restaurants were a bit disappointing : quality of the food was average and some places were too noisy. There was no real difference in the levels of the restaurants.

Helpful hosts after finding a bed for us, booking.com kept sending bookings on Xmas day which didn't help after we booked a week before, clean and tidy rooms and bathrooms, shower was hanging off with bad wiring, no lockers in rooms so had to take passport etc with us , nothing is a problem though and overall a pleasant stay

Hotel issues, the response of Zen

I had issues with the hotel I was staying at, I attempted to resolve the issues myself. However after two days the hotel did not comply.
I wrote to Zen Hotels, (the same email address I used for booking) the immediate response was “they will answer my email within an hour”.within the hour and true to their word I received an email with what they were doing about my issue.
After a few hours I wrote back (“if not resolved I should notify them”) telling them of no change. The response, again was within the hour. This resulted in Zen contacting the hotel again and reported back to me their actions. On this occasion the hotel complied with my request and resolved the issue.
Over the next two days I received a further two emails from Zen, checking if there were any other issues.
The customer service of Zen is far greater than any other booking agent I have used in the last 40 years.

Loved It

We stayed over Christmas at Duro Beach Hotel and loved it, the location is great as it's so close to town with the shops and restaurants 2 mins walk away, yet quiet at night. The rooms are modern and AC works well. TV does not have much in English (I like a bit of background noise) but that wasn't the end of the world! breakfast was great lots of choice. For me the beach area was the best a good area to pump kites they have a compressor!, deck chairs and a few beds make it comfortable for the day lounging, great staff through out the hotel they were fantastic all so friendly. Maybe in the quiet season it could do with a repaint outside just to smarten it up but that's being picky!
