Warning: Poor Buyer Protection and Unresolved Dispute on Z2U

I had a very bad experience with the Z2U platform. I purchased from one of the sellers, but the product I received did not match the description, and there was clear misleading information in the product details.

I opened a dispute to resolve the issue, but the seller does not respond to my messages, and the platform has not handled the problem properly. The responses were not helpful, and the dispute has been ongoing for more than 10 days without a clear solution.

Because of this experience, I feel that I was scammed through this platform, and I do not recommend anyone to deal with it, especially if buyer protection is this weak.

I hope the platform improves its support service, follows up on disputes seriously, and requires sellers to respond and resolve buyers’ problems fairly.

Excellent seller

Excellent seller! Everything worked exactly as described, and the subscription was delivered quickly. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free. Good site but a lot of issues with…

Good site but a lot of issues with their payment methods. And they are dishonest about payments. I paid and was told my payment is rejected even though it was showing paid successfully from my bank account. Waited few days still was told it’s not paid and they can’t fulfil my order. Then when I asked for refund it was issued with payment processing fee deduction. So if it was failed why charge the fee ? Even they don’t know how their payment system works. And no compensation for their own fault.

When your bank account shows a successful debit but our system displays 'Rejected,' this indicates that the transaction was blocked by the external payment gateway's Anti-Fraud Filter or clearing house due to a compliance mismatch, not by Z2U. In such scenarios, your bank executes an 'Authorization Hold' (pending status). The funds never actually route into Z2U’s corporate accounts; they remain temporarily restricted within the international banking network for clearing verification.

Regarding the processing fee deduction: when an order is officially voided due to a gateway risk rejection, certain international merchant banks and checkout clearing networks retain their non-refundable network communication fees for processing the security check and initiating the reverse hold. This is a mandatory operational cost levied by the global banking infrastructure to handle cross-border transaction protocols, which independent marketplaces have zero technical jurisdiction to bypass.
