Installation was okay. Nothing really stood out. It was done in a reasonable time but they could've explained the smart thermostat a bit better.

The response was very prompt and the service was seamless. 24 hours after reporting my faulty washing machine, it was serviced and washing again. Thank you warmbox 😀

Data not protected, payments taken without permission

Despite contacting me several times by telephone about taking over another firm or a rebrand for a serving contract I had on a house 3 years ago! That ended and I haven’t paid for several years, which I informed you about you still chose to take £24.99 out of my bank using my old details! This is 1). More than likely a data breach as my old data was no longer relevant and shouldn’t have been stored 2) taken without my authorisation 3) taken despite me telling you I hadn’t been a customer for years and didn’t want / need the service! You’re difficult to get hold of too, please give me the details to get this sorted and a refund! Pretty outrageous really…

Poor Service and follow ip

Been paying a monthly subscription for Boiler and plumbing cover for over 12 months, I had an issue with my boiler leaving us with no hot water or heating, reading the agreement they hope to have someone within 2 hrs, 2 phone calls and 27hrs later an engineer appeared, couldn’t sort on visit and was told that he would send a report to Warmbox. 2 days and 3 further phone calls I was told it was not economical to repair and was told there was nothing that they could do. Had to get another engineer to assist with a temporary measure so we could get heating and hot water, have since cancelled the standing order

Warmbox arranged for a local drainage…

Warmbox arranged for a local drainage company to come to have a look at our drains as we were having issues. The local company Drainworx were excellent and could not fault them. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. The service from Warmbox was also great as they conveyed to the company our availability for an appointment and this was taken into account when the engineer came to the house the following day.

SCAM company

SCAM COMPANY never had any contact with this company, but like many others they have managed to get account details and set up a direct debit to take £24.99 a month. Matter now in the hands of the Police.
Usual ridiculous response from the scammers as can be seen on other victims comments.

Hi,

Firstly, we’d like to apologise for any confusion caused.

We recently went through a company name and branding change. Notifications were sent to customers via email and/or post; however, after speaking with several customers, we understand that a tiny number of people may have missed these emails as they were delivered to spam folders. This appears to have mainly been some Hotmail and Outlook accounts in particular, as well as other email providers. We are currently working to strengthen our email deliverability to help prevent this happening with any future communications.

We take all feedback seriously and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to confirm your details and address any concerns, as well as clarify the situation.

Please feel free to reply to us privately with your contact details, or contact our support team directly and we will arrange a call at your convenience.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and again we apologise for any concern caused.

Kind regards

They Love Your Data, And Your Money More.

Never heard of this company before today, having just found a charge of £24.99 from my mother's personal debit without any connection or payment.

Seems somehow, since it looks like this has happened to other people, and in a wave recently, they are stealing enough personal information to set up subscriptions and payments on random people's behalf. This has also been paired with a sudden appearance of several scam call attempts experienced by our household, that may not be connected, but I believe is relevant information since it has all been concentrated to the week so far.

Can't imagine a company that is so blatantly criminal would do anything for your boilers. We are currently helping her dispute the charge with our bank, Nationwide. Seems to be a pattern in who they are targeting, so please be wary, and avoid at all costs, and make sure if you too are seeing a mystery charge, that this is not one of many!

Like another person I noticed a Direct…

Like another person I noticed a Direct Debit from WarmBox over the weekend even I definitely did not sign up for anything.
This is quite scary they managed to get my details and authorise a direct debit payment.
The company should be investigated and BLACK LISTED.

Preying on the elderly?

Somehow my eldery mother (90) has been paying 'Warmbox' £12.99 for around a year now. She can't recall agreeing to a contract and isn't sure of who Warmbox is. Certainly, there is no documentation and she doesn't appear to receive any emails from them.

I've read that Warmbox are/ were connected with the suspicious Smarterbox who have also been heavily criticised for preying on eldery people and 'persuading' them to take out Direct Debits. My mother's has now been cancelled.
