AVOID THIS COMPANY!
It´s all a big scam for tenants...
No house and no money, they refuse to refund my money for an apartment that I even visited.
The contract was full of scams, and they refused to change even one word.

A Very Disappointing Rental Experience

I moved into this apartment on July 1, 2025, after selecting it during an online viewing. In my personal experience, the property I received looked very different from what I had been shown during that viewing. Despite this, I was charged €786 agency fee.

Upon arrival, I personally observed: parquet flooring with visible damage, a kitchen that was not fully equipped, construction materials stored inside, and pests present in the property.

Because of these conditions, I decided to leave on July 31, 2025. I paid €850 as an early termination fee and was informed that my €1,300 deposit would only be returned in May 2026. In my opinion, this is an excessive delay and does not reflect good customer care.

From my own experience, I cannot recommend this rental. If you are considering renting, I would strongly suggest requesting recent, detailed photos and visiting the property in person before making any payment.

Una Experiencia de Alquiler Muy Decepcionante

Me mudé a este apartamento el 1 de julio de 2025, después de seleccionarlo en una visita online. En mi experiencia personal, la propiedad que recibí era muy diferente a la que me mostraron durante esa visita. A pesar de ello, me cobraron 786 € de comisión de agencia.

Al llegar, observé personalmente: suelo de parquet con daños visibles, cocina no completamente equipada, materiales de construcción almacenados en el interior y presencia de plagas.

Por estas condiciones, decidí dejar el apartamento el 31 de julio de 2025. Pagué 850 € como penalización por rescisión anticipada y me informaron que mi depósito de 1.300 € solo se devolverá en mayo de 2026. En mi opinión, este retraso es excesivo y no refleja una buena atención al cliente.

Desde mi propia experiencia, no puedo recomendar este alquiler. Si están pensando en alquilar, sugiero encarecidamente solicitar fotos recientes y detalladas, y visitar la propiedad en persona antes de realizar cualquier pago.

DO NOT USE HOMEY, NO ETHICS, UNPROFESSIONAL

Do not use this company, I repeat, do not use this company. It does not operate by any ethical or real state professional standards. It is run by unprofessional staff who follow very twisted rules. They will ask for a 2-month deposit to obtain your apartment plus one month for YOUHOMEY (for managing the rental?) and the first month of rent, of course. They tend not to return the deposit. They do not provide management solutions for appliances that are not working or repairs that need to be done (or they do it when you are about to leave). They may rent properties that are legally established as a unit, but you rent a part of it (Ex, You may rent a part of an apartment that has been divided in two, and share the lobby bell with your neighbor, outrageous). You may go to their office, and they do not open the door to you...unbelievable. It has been, by all means, the poorest experience of my life. I am not talking about an inexpensive apartment. Rent was almost 2,000 euros. Sad experience, extremely frustrating.

Untrustworthy agency

Untrustworthy agency. After viewing the apartment and confirming I wanted to rent it, we agreed to meet at the office at a specific time to sign the contract. Twenty minutes before the appointment, while I was on my way there, they sent me an email saying they had just given it to someone else — completely ignoring our scheduled meeting. Very unprofessional and unreliable.

Their company fees are extreme

Please be advised that the upfront fees for this company are astronomical. My rent was 690 euros and their fee was 955 euros to move forward with the rental contract. This did not include a security deposit, it was only a fee. All other expenses were paid on top.

Avoid these scammers

With Youhomey be prepared to pay more than you expect... In my case they simply invented all possible reasons why not to refund all of my deposit at the end of the contract. They claimed that I damaged the walls although I sent them pictures at the start of my lease proving that the walls were dirty and the apartment needed repainting even at that time. Then they claimed that they had to throw away some towels and mattress protector and sent me pictures of some tiny stains. They did not listen to any arguments that it is not reasonable to expect after half year of using rented stuff to be in the same condition as new one. So, effectively you first pay the rent to lease everything that is inside the apartment, then secondly they make to pay 100 EUR for cleaning and finally you end up paying for the same thing for the third time because they deduct these items from the deposit. Horrible practices!
