Excellent support and growth for music on Spotify!

Worst service I’ve received. No updates AT ALL for a month on my order before randomly emailing me “sorry, we couldn’t place your song.” They essentially offered me store credit afterwards which… won’t do anything considering you can’t place my music. THEN I am now currently in the process of trying to get my guaranteed refund but it isn’t as simple as you would think from there “PERFECT SERVICE OR MONEY BACK GUARANTEED” advertising. Be careful when choosing YouGrow

My expierience with the YouGrow service:

1. I ordered a TESTER campaign (1-3k views for around 50$) for a polish indie rock song. The placement took around 3 weeks. Song was placed on a playlist with mainly south american listeners. Of course I wouldnt expect them to have dedicated playlist for each language. Thats ok. (But the fact remains, thats a unrelevant audience for me) Average streams per day: about 50/60. Surerly not enough to trigger any algorythmic playlist, but enough to last the placement for a loooong time. Before I was done with this one I started another one:

2. I ordered another tester campaign for an english indie rock song. (promised between 1 to 3k streams for around 50 bucks)

Thats actualy the only good campaign they did.

All 3000 views done with aprox 600 streams a day, on a playlist with mailny US audience. That was nice.

Also I got another 3000 views triggered by spotify algorythimic playlists!

So at this point they got my trust, so I started to order next tier campaigns/playlists.

3. I ordered a STARTER campaign for an english rock/metal song. (promised between 3000 to 6000 streams for a 100 $)

- placement was made on the exact same playlist as nr 2 (which is cool!, as it worked great)
- aprox stream/day: 500, each day. steady.
- song was removed, without any notification or good reason after 3500 streams.

Please note that at this timepoint the only finished campaign we had was the one reaching maximum results from promised bracket, indicating, that this is the standard if possible, and with same playlist, 500 streams each day its more than possible.

Fact is, that the stream per view cost almost doubled, when entrusting them with next tier playlist, which is absurd.

Long story short, that happened for other songs as well.

4. I ordered a STARTER (3-6k for 100$) for english rock song.
SAME PLAYLIST AS the 2 before.
Also removed barerly after reaching the lower bracket (3294 streams). The placement took almost a month, disabling the possiblity for some algorythmic playlists like release radar.

MEANWHILE playlist nr 1 ended, not very well, but thats ok, not every song has to perform well with every audience. I talked with YouGrow and told about my feelings toward this specific playlist.

(it delivered 1300 streams, also bare minimum)

5. So I orded the last time a campaign - STARTER (3-6k streams) post punk/indie rock english song.

THEY PLACE THE SONG AT THE SAME PLAYLIST AS SONG 1, although we already know, its not suitable with my music as it delivered around 1k streams in over a month, which is nearly for what I get without any promotion.

I even specificly asked what playlist are they going to place the song, which they wasnt eager to share.

Everything I just wrote I shared with YouGrow before writing here. The answer I got was "fluctuations between playlist we got no influence on"

Yeah, if that wouldn't be THE SAME playlist that maybe could be right.

so,

SUMMING UP:
- they baited me with max results in one campaign, and never delivered again
- they kind of communicate with me, but the actual issues are ignored and lied about

- I woudnt risk entrusting them with bigger campaigns, as the results will most likely be the lowest possible, even if they have the scope to give you better results, which is just sad and nota very good business etiquette. Quite short sighted.

Better try a different company : )

PS here are the actual results in one place:
1. TESTER (1-3k) 8 weeks; 1200 streams.
2. TESTER (1-3k) 2 weeks: 3000 streams.
3. STARTER (3-6k) 3 weeks: 3400 streams
4. STARTER (3-6k) 4 weeks: 3300 streams
5. STARTER (3-6k) 4 weeks: 1800 streams (ONGOING)

the periods contain the time the take to "pitch" and "place" which is usualy aprox 2 weeks.

PS: also all the facebook accounts of the "campaign curators" are fake accounts, which is shady (If You did a campaign with them just paste the "curators" name in the facebook search and take a look at the friends tab.

Very good and very nice people. It would have been nice to have had more info provided on the YouGrow App, but apart from that it was a good result. Thank you.

We are currently on our fourth consecutive campaign involving YouGrow. The reason we keep going back to them is because, unlike some playlist pitching services that use artificial bot streams and charge a lot for doing very little, YouGrow work patiently to get our music onto genuine and highly engaged playlists that make a significant difference to our streams and then also knock on to Spotify including us on more algorithmic playlists too. Every campaign has been successful and our relationship with Emiel, who pitches on our behalf, is first class and highly communicative. I would have no hesitation in recommending YouGrow to anyone who is looking to increase their streaming numbers and build their Spotify profile.

You delivered on your promise

If your song is over 4 minutes, do not try to submit your song because its going to be rejected after you wait 12 days. Cause the playlist curators cares about their playlists, not your song. Nice customer service tho. And my refund is on my the way, i dont think there will be any problem about that.

Consistent and clear communication, work with you personally and are flexible depending on your goals as an artist, and deliver the results promised!

I worked with several campaign managers. All worked diligently to market my songs accepted and good results were seen. It is definitely a good way to go about getting initial streams to get your song to trigger algorithm for radio plays (provided your release fits with what people are generally listening to via radio algorithm, i.e. won't be skipped when recommended)

You Grow is helping me grow as an artist. My campaign manager, Daniela has been great. Answers all my emails. Legit and worth it for your music. Plus, you get to help plant trees. Win/win.

One major sign that you're working with an authentic digital marketing agency? An unapologetic refund policy. What that tells me is that they don't just work with any artist's song. Even if you're in a more niche subgenre, they do their best to fit you in as broadened of a genre that makes sense for the song. If they can't work with the Spotify side of things, they can help with the YouTube ads. They'll work with you to find ways before giving you the full refund. I'm saying this as an artist that has worked with them and had songs accepted and rejected. Top notch communication included. Would recommend this company as one of the good few to work with.

Honestly, Yougrow has been amazing. I’ve ran two smaller campaigns with them to try things out, and the results have been great. What surprised me the most is the continuous communication with my campaign manager, who kept me in the loop along the way.

Didn't deliver what was promised had 40k views stream before we started now at 120k

They helped me get in 2 playlists and gave my song a good push for over a month.
I got charged after cancelling the subscription, however I got in contact with them and you hey promptly refund me.

I’ve done several YouTube music video Ad promotions with this company. Each time, I’ve had great results, and my representative, Luka, has done a fabulous job getting my ads approved and performing optimally. I recommend these guys!
