Bit of a rip off for me ,. Not great value , just a method of mugging you off when you feel you are making headway with someone, I would not recommend or use again ! Neither should you !!💩💩💩

Yoopies have been taking payments from…

Yoopies have been taking payments from my account for 15 months , I had not subscribed to the service . When I realised I cancelled the payments immediately however the management of the company are unwilling to communicate with me to resolve the issue . I had not subscribed to the service nor did I have access to the service . I have been emailing and calling the company for more than 2 weeks -the management are refusing to speak to me . Very unprofessional and unfair , they take your money for nothing and then unwilling to resolve issues . I am very upset and disappointed by the way this company has treated me and the way they operate .., I have lost a lot of money I cannot speak to anyone on the phone because I cannot get through and no one is available . The french office blocked my number so I do not call back . They take money but are unwilling to help when things go wrong ...terrible company. I would highly recommend people do not use ethos company.

Waste of time and money

I thought about trying Yoopies to find a Carer Companion as I only required someone for a couple of hours per fortnight. I messaged 8 and only received replies from 3. Of the 3 that replied, not one of them wanted to take up my offer of work. I also placed an ad on Yoopies for a carer companion; no-one applied. Doing this was a complete waste of time and money.

I looked through some of Yoopie's carer companion profiles and saw that very few had even been booked to do a few hours' work. These individuals are not experienced enough nor suitable, to be hired. Therefore Yoopies is just an odd job site.

Don't use Yoopies to find a carer companion.
There are reputable care companies or agencies who can help you find the ideal, experienced carer companion.

Easy process with Yoopies

I joined Yoopies last week and within a few days I had secured 2 babysitting jobs.
Both families were lovely. The process of joining Yoopies was easy using their app and your paid within a week.

A BIG waste of time. Avoid like the plague.

This company will take your money without necessarily providing any value or service. Paid £60, lured by the £50 in nanny "credit" they promise you - but the only way the credit works is if you can actually find a nanny! Easier said than done.

Message 12 nannies, 3 replied. Almost had a deal with one who dropped off at the end, 1 was unsuitable, 1 stopped writing. All in all a BIG waste in time.

Customer support of course won't refund a penny because "you've used their premium features". The fact that these features were a waste of time and provided no value is absolutely of no concern to them. Sad sad way to do business.

Plenty of good ethical businesses out there who ensure they provide value for your money and not just trap you into spending when they know full well you will get absolutely nothing from them. Unfortunately Yoopies is not one of them. Please do yourself a favour and avoid, don't spend any money here.

Help and support

I found the chat part very frustrating as it wasn't letting me put words on properly, I found this hard, but asked if I could call, I was told I could email, I was helped very much with my problem that I was having, scamming, collette was very helpful, and gave me all the help I needed, I was reassured that the situation was sorted as I had been worried about it all, and was going to cancel my childcare account, but thankfully I won't have to as feel problem sorted

Thanks again
