I was searching for car hire options at Faro Airport, and Yor Car Hire came up at the top of my list due to the high reviews and the lower price compared to other companies. Based on my own experience, the reviews are absolutely accurate — I’m really glad I booked with them.
Communication was very good, with quick replies to my questions. I was able to book the car online and pay at the counter, which made the process straightforward and stress-free.
We received a very comfortable, almost new car, and it was a pleasure to drive throughout our trip. There were no complications at all — getting the key was easy, and the location is within walking distance from the airport arrivals. Returning the car was just as simple and smooth.
Overall, a hassle-free experience with great value for money. Highly recommended!

Would advise not to use this company as they charged inflated amount for non-existent damage
I would advise people not to use this company as I feel they charged me an inflated amount of money for non existent "damage". Although their terms and conditions say that wear and tear will not be charged for, when I rented a car from Yes Car they charged my credit card for tiny chips that were barely visible and already present on the vehicle when it was rented.
On their checkout sheet they recorded 2 dents already on the car but ignored wear and tear e.g minor chips and scuffs. I did not damage the vehicle at all and returned it in the same condition it was rented out in. I asked them to provide evidence that the bill charged reflected the cost of any work required but they declined.
I also requested that they provide records to show that no other customers had been charged for the same "damage" but they declined to do so.
I recently rented a car from a different company in Faro and at checkout the car had similar minor chips and scuffs. When I pointed this out to them they said they did not consider that to be damage and implied that in their view it would not be legitimate to charge for it.
Please note that Yes Car are not part of the European Car Rental Conciliation Service (ECRCS) and since Brexit UK customers cannot use the European Small Claims Procedure making it more difficult to take legal action in these situations.

At the start of every rental, we present a Damage Report to the customer, which lists all existing damage on the vehicle. The customer is asked to carefully review this report and check for any new damage before leaving the parking area. We also always recommend taking photos or videos to avoid misunderstandings.
If any new damage is found when the car is returned, and it cannot be verified as pre-existing, our terms and conditions require that these costs are charged. This is standard practice across the industry.
Yes Car Hire is a fully registered and legal company, operating in Portugal with over 15 years of experience, a member of all relevant car rental associations, and we always aim to treat our customers fairly and transparently.

Quick and Uncomplicated
We arrived and had our car in no time. We needed to extend and there was no porpblem or extra fee to add 2 more weeks to our rental agreement. When we returned the car it was a quick walk to car to make sure there was no damamge and we were on our way.
