Stay away from these scammers !

I’ve Been Using Yepic for a While Now — It’s Come a Long Way

I’ve been using Yepic for over a year, and honestly, it’s come a very long way. When I first signed up, it was decent but still had that “early startup” feel — rough edges, slower render times, and a few bugs here and there. Now it’s a completely different story.The avatars look sharper, the voices have real emotion, and the rendering speed has improved massively. I’m using it for internal comms videos at work and it’s saved us hours of production time every week.I know some people are angry about their lifetime deals being limited, but let’s be real — no AI company can sustainably offer unlimited compute forever for a one-time fee. The cost of GPUs has gone through the roof, and the models themselves get updated constantly. I’d rather pay a small monthly fee for something that actually works and keeps improving than cling to an old “lifetime” deal that’s just not viable anymore.If you tried Yepic a while ago and had a rough experience, it’s worth giving it another shot. They’ve clearly invested heavily in rebuilding the tech — and it shows.

Lifetime-Suscripion cancled - Terrible customer support, lies

Since Yepic has accused my review of being fake, I need to clarify this once again.
I only mentioned the CEO’s name because he himself responded to my criticism here on Trustpilot using his first name. Yepic has now removed their answers and criticizing me, claiming that mentioning his name violates Trustpilot’s rules. That's Yepic.
Here's the history:
1. On 1/31/23 (10:58 PM), I purchased the Livetime Standard (LTD) plan for £89.10 with invoice number #1914-2319. At first, everything was fine; I was able to use it as purchased. After I hadn’t used it for an extended period and logged into my account, the plan had been removed.
2. Finally, on 10/21/25, I emailed Yepic (with a copy of the paid invoice) and asked for the plan to be restored. No response.
3. I wrote the first review with the difficulties on Trustpilot.
4. I emailed again on 10/28/25. No response. Then, on 12/5/25, I asked why I wasn’t receiving a reply. No response. So I added it to my review and gave 1 Star.
5. On Dec 16, the CEO (?) replied on Trustpilot that I hadn’t contacted them (which wasn’t true). He said mistakes had been made and that I should contact him personally (!).
6. The same day I wrote to him directly, referring to his response that he wanted to reactivate my plan.
7. On Dec 18 he answered: "Hello I'm sorry there's obviously been an admin mistake." He told, that my review had violated Yepic’s rules. “As soon as your review is 5* or has been removed, we can reinstate you, provided that no new reviews appear under your name.”
8. On December 20, I replied: My review was posted only after Yepic had removed my plan and failed to respond. I made a counterproposal: They should correct the error first, and then I would change the review—not the other way around. He didn't response!
9. On December 27, I wrote my counterproposal again to him.
Still no response to this day.
10. Instead, the claim on 4/7/26, that my review is fake.
RATING: 0 stars! Beware of this company—they twist the truth and deceive customers. To this day, they have not reactivated my Lifetime Plan, which means for me they have stolen my money. I have kept all correspondence with Yepic (and the CEO) as well as the invoice and can provide them at any time.

Yepic - BEWARE! They will SCAM you out of your money

No joke, Yepic will scam you out of your money, they have done it to me and I see several other users complaining of the same bad experience.
Like several others have said, I purchased the lifetime deal in November 2023. The invoices I received showed it was the PLUS LTD Split Pay subscription I was on.

Between November 23 and February 2025 all invoices I received from Tepic correctly showed I was on the PLUS LTD Split Pay deal.
However, in October 25 out of the blue withjout any warning my Credit Card was charged a whopping £290 for A Standard plan.

I asked Yepic for an explanation, they said I logged into the platform, clicked a plan and activated it.

I asked for proof but they have not provided any proof after several emails.

On the other hand I have provided proof that I have never ever used the platform but they have stopped communicating with me.

I have written to Yepic stating I will be making a chargeback, butr they have not responded.

Since they have not provided a telephone number on their website site, I started searching on Social Media for a contact.
During my search I discovered many users posting the same experience of purchasing a Lifetime deal then suddenly being charged an additional payment without any notification or justification.

UPDATE: look at their "Positive Reviews" - all from recent new users with only 1 reviews each? something fishy.

Look at the response, all the same canned message that's not even addressing the complaints about being put on a yearly subscription without any notification or justification when we already signed up for Lifetime Plans.

No I was not missed, I asked you about why I was put on an annual plan and you responded that "I used the product".

I provided proof that I had not, then you stopped replying to all the emails I sent.

I purchased as early adopter and had very little use.
there was features promised in early days but they never got issued to ltd users.
now I can not log in to my account at all
I tried the password reset but no email arrives
so they have basically stolen the money paid for my account.
there was quite a few bugs in the little times that I did use the platform

Not honoring prepaid LTD plans!

Yepic AI is in severe financial trouble and has stopped honoring prepaid LTD plans. They’re not responding to emails either. I paid $400 for my plan, used the platform only a handful of times, and less than two years later they abruptly cut off access with zero warning. They didn’t even bother to notify customers about their decision, so imagine how disruptive this was to business owners. I had to reach out myself to find out what happened, which tells you everything about how scammy their operation is.

There are countless similar complaints about their dishonest practices. Their response below, along with their thinly veiled threats, only show how desperate they are to save face. Stay away from Yepic AI, even if they promise to honor your paid plan in the future. It’s only a matter of time before they eventually sell what’s left to another company and leave customers stranded all over again.

Lifetime Deal Turned into Lifetime Disappointment

I purchased Yepic.ai back in 2024 for £299, advertised as a lifetime deal that included 200 credits per month. It seemed promising at first — until I tried to actually use it. I really wanted it to work because it was so promising.

When I logged back in, I found my credits restricted and my plan quietly downgraded from the lifetime deal to a free basic plan. My £299 purchase? Completely nullified.

I reached out through email, chat, and even phone calls — and got nothing but silence. No replies. No support. Just a busy number and unanswered messages. Meanwhile, my inbox fills with new marketing emails from Yepic promoting “new features".

To make matters worse, I noticed my “basic plan” now showing a charge of $200 next year, and shortly after that, I was charged $149 with zero explanation. No notification, no offer to resolve it, and still no human response from anyone at Yepik.

I fully understand that software evolves and business models change — but doing so without a word to paying customers is unacceptable. Transparency costs nothing, yet Yepic has chosen to say nothing.

If you’re considering this company, be warned: they do not honor their promises, and their so-called “lifetime deals” seem to have an expiration date they never tell you about.

I’m now out £299 + $149, forced to dispute the charges and cancel the service I was genuinely excited to use. The worst part? I recommended Yepic to others, and now I regret every referral.

Bottom line: Great idea, terrible integrity. Proceed with extreme caution.

Not trustworthy

I bought a lifetime deal license of Yepic when they were starting, for 299 GBP.

At the beginning it was working fine, but after sometime, when they started releasing the API and so on, it started to change...

Later on, they migrate the system, and my account was switched from a Premium LTD account to a Free basic one.

I reached out to the team via email. Waited for some time - no reply.

I wrote them via the website chat. Waited for some time - no reply.

I wrote them again via email, and my surprise is that there was an automated message saying:

"Please check your most recent invoice (from 2025) onwards and you will find a WhatsApp number to receive support or Enterprise clients can contact us via the slack connect channel."

I don't have an invoice from 2025, cause I bought my lifetime license way before than that.

I don't know their WhatsApp number, nor their slack channel.

The funny thing is that their website shows this as Contact details:

Conclusion:
For me, this is not a way of doing business. I trusted them in the beginning, and now they throw me under the bush with no explanation.

To add my previous review about Yepic.ai.
I don’t know about others, but this is my own experience with Yepic.ai. I bought an LTD for Yepic.ai years ago with 200 credits each month. Then the service became very slow. It took days to create one talking avatar. After that, I wrote a review about my experience. Years later, I received an email from Yepic saying, “If I don’t remove the 1-star rating from my review, they will no longer add my credits every month.” That was essentially the same as canceling it. I told them that my review was honest. They blamed their workers for causing all those problems. So, I tested it again, and the results improved significantly—it only took 3 to 4 minutes to complete my talking avatar. However, they never added my monthly credits. I sent them emails multiple times regarding my credits, and they always said, “The system is down” or “I already told my team to add it.” Those were their responses again and again. I told them that if they continued to treat me this way, I would write another review about this. They replied, “Do that and I will never let you back.” In the end, they removed my remaining credits, and I was out of their membership. I haven’t even written a new review yet. (I still have all the emails from our conversations.)

Scam company

This product was never great, but what’s happened in the last few months is downright scandalous. Videos won’t even render anymore, and they had the audacity to kill off Yepic Studio, leaving us stuck with the utterly pathetic Studio Express—a joke of a tool that’s about as innovative as Windows 98.

Bought an LTD a while back but hadn't used it, then went to use it the other week and it's on the Free plan. Customer support ignoring messages on chat and email. Feels like a total scam. It wasn't cheap. Beware.

Service is not good and now we're locked out

Bought a Yepic lifetime deal over a year ago. Hardly used it. Uploaded one image of a friend so far to show him what can be done with Yepic. It was okay. Not stellar, but good enough and with room for improvement, I trusted in their potential.

Have heard that Yepic has problems in the past few weeks and months. Didn't really care for the gossip. Now today I try to log in and see for myself what is happening. First the system said my credentials were wrong, so: password reset. Did that and made a new password. Still unable to login.

I see discussions from users with the founder on facebook that are not very helpful. He told on facebook that at the moment no new accounts can be created and lifetime deal holders can not make any new videos at the moment. And, like I just experienced myself, I cannot even log in anymore. Sound like something that could affect GDPR as well.

In any case: login not possible, video creation is disabled, founder "has done nothing wrong" (paraphrasing his facebook comments) and is looking for a new buyer of the tool. So better invest your money elsewhere.

Nonstop problems with Yepic

I have had nonstop problems with this product and the support team. I got locked out of my account and for almost a month got no reply from the support team. Then they finally gave me access to my account but had downgraded it to a free account when I had already paid for their premium features. I left a negative review on another platform through the process and they said that they would only reinstate the account I already paid for if I removed my negative review.
