New ownership?

I haven't bought from them in a good while, back in maybe 2019. This company is based in japan, and at the time I received some shirts of excellent quality. From what I'm reading from other more recent reviews in 2022, something drastic happened to the company and the page is even blocked by my anti virus. Cannot recommend them as they are now. What a shame, they had the best shirts i've ever purchased.

i'm guessing there's something deeply dodgy about this company judging by the feedback below. have managed to get one response out of them for an order placed over a month ago. a lesson learnt.

I've ordered here many times, never again

I've ordered here many times, and this will be the last as I'm missing 2 items of clothing with literally 0 contact despite emailing over 10 times on 2 seperate emails in 2 months. I've had a wait of 2 months and counting not to mention the second time in a row things I've been able to order have been 'out of stock' which is just odd. Awful customer service, if you can even call it that when I'm just sending emails into the abyss, oh btw their refund guarantee isn't even guaranteed if they just ignore you! Nice work guys!

Please don't order from here.

Have not received order since Feb 24

I made an order on Feb 24. I still have not received anything yet. I appreciate that Yuyakata responded to my email on May 11 saying "We have carefully checked and it seems the parcel is still in transit in Guatemala. As there hasn't been an update on the recent status yet, we have contacted the post office and are awaiting their response on this." and that " In case the carrier should have lost the package, we have still offer you a free replacement or a reimbursement." But they have not contacted me or responded to my emails since that date. And the links they gave me to track my order don't work.
I understand that I live far away and there is a time needed for the shipment. But 5 months of waiting and no feedback on their part makes me disapointed.

¿Yayukata did I just lost €91.98 for giving you time?

May be scam

I ordered two items on June 25th but still no update or anything. I contacted Yayukata to cancel my order which was 6 days ago but they didn't get back to me!
I now contacted PayPal to refund my money!
Dear Yayukata Team! I'd like to get my money back.

#YY6892 Potentially fraudulent site

This isn't the first order I've placed with them and the first time was riddled with issues so I kind of accepted it and moved on.
My latest order was placed in NOVEMBER and while I accept that we are in a period of Covid - I have contacted them on three separate occasions and not received a single reply back. It's pretty obvious that I've been scammed and will not get my money back so all I can recommend is that you pay through PayPal and stay dilligent with pursuing a charge-back as after 3 months you may not be able to anymore.
Or, simply don't use them.

Products with low quality, don't fool yourself!

I bought 2 casual summer kimonos and after 3 months I received my package at home, to my surprise the quality of their product is far below what I expected, even because it was not so cheap. I can see errors of impression all over the place as if they just had put a low-quality image on their printer.

I believe they don't have at all any kind of quality control, so, be aware and don't fool yourself with their online catalogue!

Another chance

Placed another order again since a friend liked the kimonos. But a week later I still got no update nor reply to any of my emails. I hope to receive one soon and I hope that all my 3 items ordered will come in ONE package so that I won’t wait toooo long. Please. Thanks!

Order #YY7288

So after a delivery of my order to a wrong location and over three months of waiting, only the Shirt that i have ordered arrived. There is no information on where the Sweater of my order remains and after numerous E-Mails YAYUKATA still hasnt answered me. Also they insured me that i would get a new tracking number for the reshipping of my order to the right location which i never got. So a little help here would be nice YAYUKATA.

Yayukata is a scam and sells clothes from aliexpress.

The other day I ordered a hoodie and a pair of socks. I was told my package would arrive within 5-24 days. I never received any updates neither did the tracking status update and I had to email the service for them to update me my tracking information - it was a LOT they didn’t update me on for a long time. However, the package arrived after one month and about a week which is too late. My hoodie arrived but my socks weren’t there and nobody told me they would come in separate packages. The socks arrived a few days later. On the two packages I then saw a little price tag. It said the hoodie was about $15 and the socks were about $5. When I bought it from Yayukata, the hoodie was $75 and the socks were $15.
Both items have a HORRIBLE quality that you don’t even get in the cheapest stores in town and are not worth the price at all.
Please don’t buy from there, I promise you they’re a scam and you’ll regret it.
And also, don’t trust that customer service Linda or whatever.

We have no price tags in our clothing, which leads us to the believe that you may have mistaken the customs value of the parcel with an actual price tag. Most of the indie brands we have in stock are exclusive to our website, same for the products we make here at Yayukata.

Our shipping time to Austria is 17 days - 28 days. Both of your parcels arrived within 25 days of transit.

If you have received a faulty or damaged item, you can just contact us. Unfortunately, we have not received a message from you.

Ordered 3 times in 2020, the package always arrived within 10-12 days to Marseille (last order was mid-December and it arrived a few days ago). Never had any issues with them.

SCAM ALERT

I ordered a hoodie from them on 23rd of november by the time of writing this its 9th of december they didnt even start the shiping i paid 60euros for their hoodie and they didnt even start shipping it yet i strongly advise you to not buy from them

hoodie n pants

Bought a hoodie n a pair of pants, great quality and looks amazing. A bit expensive but it looks great so no complaints. Definitely will buy again :)

P.S people need to be patient, it took 2 months for me to receive them.

Ordered 2 items nearly a month ago, they still havent arrived

Ordered a hoodie and a t-shirt around the 30th of June, still hasent arrived. I live in Denmark and don't think it should take this long. Not sure if it's even gonna arrive at this point :/ .

Worth the wait!

Ordered a bunch of clothes a couple months ago, although it took a while to arrive the clothes are now getting here, and the quality/fit has been perfect. If you’re patient enough it is definitely worth it!

Logistics issues

Relies on inter-Chinese carriers far too much which not just delays but outright derails your packages to the point where you will never receive them.
Most likely you will end up having to do a credit card charge-back due to the service department not being willing to refund you until the order fails entirely, which can take months upon months.

Unusable if you live in Europe.

EDIT: They responded with what is essentially nonsense.
This is directly from their website: "Packages are delivered in 5 - 24 days on average."

It has been 29 days since I placed the order - I also checked directly with the direct delivery company (DHL) and they can not detect the order within my country. They have not received an update to the parcel in 3 weeks.
