In een woord: GEWELDIG!
Oeganda is een prachtig land met een enorme variatie van cultuur en natuur. Wij hebben ons er altijd veilig en prettig gevoeld en dit kwam met name door onze ervaren guide Emma. Hij was de lopende encyclopedie en altijd bereid om onze vragen te beantwoorden. Hij wist simpelweg alles over ZIJN Uganda. En dit allemaal met een brede lach! De reis was simpelweg spectaculair te noemen de fijne lodges waren stuk voor stuk erg mooi. Het eten was bij elke lodge goed verzorgd en voor iedereen genoeg keuze. Ook hebben wij regelmatig een leuke babbel gemaakt met het management van verschillende lodges om zo wat ervaringen op te doen. Voor ons waren de uitblinkende accommodaties; Turaco Treetops, Mutanda Lake Resort en Rwakabo. Turaco vooral door de ligging in het regenwoud met de slingerapen en de prachtige diner locatie. Mutanda door het prachtige meer en Rwakabo vooral door de ligging en de Savannah voor de lodge. We kozen voor Oeganda omdat we naar de berggorilla's wilden en dat was dan ook echt het hoogtepunt van onze reis. Zeker als ze bijna op je tenen stappen! Al met al een prachtige vakantie die perfect georganiseerd was door Yako Africa van A tot Z.

Uganda is a beautiful country with a huge variety of culture and nature. We have always felt safe and comfortable there, and this was mainly due to our experienced guide Emma. He was a walking encyclopedia and always willing to answer our questions. He simply knew everything about HIS Uganda. And all this with a wide smile! The trip was simply spectacular; the nice lodges were all very beautiful. The food was well taken care of at each lodge, and there was plenty of choice for everyone. We also regularly had nice chats with the management of different lodges to gain some experiences. For us, the standout accommodations were: Turaco Treetops, Mutanda Lake Resort, and Rwakabo. Turaco especially for its location in the rainforest with the spider monkeys and the beautiful dining location. Mutanda for the stunning lake and Rwakabo particularly for its location and the savannah in front of the lodge. We chose Uganda because we wanted to see the mountain gorillas, and that was truly the highlight of our trip. Especially when they almost step on your toes! A wonderful vacation that was perfectly organized by Yako Africa from A to Z.
